  1. You spelled Dream Theater wrong >_> And it's criminal that they only get to #61. For shame EWB, for shame.
  2. King of the Night Time World - Kiss Speed King - Deep Purple The Man Who Would Be King - Dio Kill The King - Stratovarius King of Terrors - Symphony X King's Call - Phil Lynott King For A Day - Jamiroquai >_>
  3. Looks like fineintent's been playing "Finding Emo".
  4. Fuck the little bastard up. That ought to make you feel a bit better.
  5. Having seen them twice (I know, I'm a horrible fan, I'm making it three in December), I can safely say, if you don't, you will regret it. Money is replacable. The experience isn't.
  6. James Blunt makes me sad. Kelly Clarkson on the other hand...
  7. I wouldn't complain about Germany's pricing, I paid €79 for the 3 day Wacken festival, yet £35 (€52) to see Iron Maiden this December. Not that I'm complaining (it's Maiden ) about that, just saying that it seems the UK's a lot pricier than Europe. Oh and Wolfmother rock, have a good time.
  8. And judging by this song, Trivium = Metallica Jr. In all fairness, I quite like it, but it seems as if they're trying too hard to be Metallica. If it sounded like Metallica by accident, then fine, but it's obvious that they're trying to sound like them, and that takes my liking of it down a bit.
  9. I saw them one time 4 years ago, supporting Adema and Soil. Met them too. Nice blokes. Much better than Adema, but Soil owned all that night.
  10. 1. Iron Maiden 2. Judas Priest 3. Dream Theater 4. Foo Fighters 5. Shadows Fall 6. Iced Earth 7. Audioslave 8. Alice Cooper 9. Metallica 10. Fear Factory
  11. As some of you may know, I'm going to Germany for a week tomorrow. I know, how will you cope for a week without me? The main reason I'm going is for the Wacken Open Air Metal Festival. I guess this is really a thread to brag and make people jealous, but let's disguise it as a discussion for such things. http://www.wacken.com I'm most looking forward to seeing Whitesnake, Motorhead, Bodom, Fear Factory, Gamma Ray and Opeth for the first times, and the Scorpions, MSG and Soulfly for the second times. Just a tad pissed off that the running order slightly changed and now Opeth and Soilwork are on at the same time. So anyway, thoughts.
  12. Not technically today, but the other night: Festival - 7/10 I'd heard good things, and was slightly disappointed that it wasn't as funny as I'd been expecting, but it was good in a different way. Still had some right laugh-out-loud moments though. Richard Ayoade could have been used SO much more. But still, Chris O'Dowd and Stephen Mangan, so how can it not be funny? OK this one was tonight: Garden State - 8/10 Again, I'd heard good things, and I wasn't disappointed. I didn't really know what to expect going into it, but it sure as hell kept me interested the whole way through. Some people say it's changed their lives. I say, it was good, and those people had some sad sad lives before this film.
  13. Dammit ROC, now I want a Staley biopic too.
  14. Shit, forgot November Rain. Meh, ten's too restricting anyway.
  15. Not in any real order here. Weezer - Keep Fishin' Weezer - We Are All On Drugs Tool - Schism Tool - Parabola Queens of the Stone Age - Go With The Flow The Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up Creed - With Arms Wide Open Foo Fighters - Everlong Michael Jackson - Thriller Metallica - Until It Sleeps Honourable mentions Daler Mendhi - Tunak Tunak Tan Jimmy Jacobs - Ballad of Lacey
  16. I wouldn't exactly call that a Cobain biopic, the character's based on him (and looks incredibly like him) and the story's (allegedly) similar, but it's not official.
  17. Hendrix for sure, would be really trippy, and it'd be interesting to see the portrayal of his rise and fall. A Bon Scott biopic could have potential too. While it's never going to happen (mainly because of the negative way Courtney Love would likely be portrayed in it) a Kurt Cobain movie would probably be good. I'm saying that and I'm not even a Nirvana fan.
  18. Ah, leakage. Yes, I'm... not a fan of that at all.
  19. I'd like to third the love for "Come What(ever) May", as much as I liked the first Stone Sour album, this one's even better. "Through Glass" is probably my favourite song at the moment. I've also just found a love for Shinedown's "Us and Them" album. I'd only heard "I Dare You" before yesterday, but damn, that is one hell of an album. Oh, and Breed 77 have a new album? Why wasn't I informed?
  20. I saw this the other night at the break of South Park, and I gotta say... :lmao: No idea why it was so funny, but I was laughing for about 10 minutes. You've all got to lighten up and stop being such homophobes
  21. Hmm, looks a little pricy. I mean, Gamma Ray and Dream Evil, sure, great, but other than that I've not heard of anyone. Hopefully the rumours on the forum are true and Sonata Arctica and Blaze get the two TBC slots, because then I would be there. Perth's not too far away, would be worth it if the rumours were true.
  22. I laugh quite frequently at things Roger says, so apparently yes, he has sad anything funny. Opinions, eh? And come on, Roger =/= Brian, so why bother comparing them? Because they both talk and they shouldn't?
  23. But... but... Roger is the soul of the show.
  24. Can I just stop you all right here. This is a thread about buying the DVDs in the UK. We don't have "volumes", it is Season 1 (14 episodes), Season 2 (15 episodes), Season 3 (21 episodes) and Season 4 (13 episodes). Plus American Dad's better.
