  1. By double KO I mean they fall down at the sametime and the referee counts until they get up. Sorry if I misled you.
  2. That's cause Man City are always going to have more money than you no matter what.
  3. Weegie I believe it is called. Search weegie at the FM forums and you should be able to find it fairly easily. In fact, there may even be a link in the FM 08 thread here. EDIT: yes there is - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CB90IKED As of September 6th 2008, so not ultra new. I expect there'll be a new one after the transfer window is wrapped up.
  4. Laura Marling sounds hot as fuck when she sings. Imagine my disappointment when I saw what she looks like. ha. But she's hardly David Lee Roth. >_> She's alright. Not spectacular. Fantastic, brilliant album though.
  5. Ah yeah the announcer was on form. It was so funny walking by the Chadwick Stand at the end and seeing all the Ayr fans stuck behind the gates. What stand were you in? I was in the West Stand. That place is usually dead but it was brilliant last night.
  6. I'm tearing apart the conference in my second season at HYDE UNITED. Everyone was like "you're gonna finish 23rd" but I said "no...I think I'll be 2nd in the division come November!" And guess what? I am! Dealt out an incredible 5-0 thrashing to the mighty Kettering too!
  7. Aww listen to our nice song... http://www.killiefc.com/Season%202008-09/K.../AYRHSFPics.htm
  8. I actually really want to see this now. But I know I never will.
  9. Patrick Ewing is one of the few US Sports names I recognise here. He was awesome though. Although my only experience of him was on an ancient NBA game I had for the gameboy ages ago. He's still awesome. >_>
  10. Music was always something I enjoyed. I've been playing instruments and that sort of thing for years but the time when I really got obsessively into music wouldn't be too long ago to be honest. Possibly when I was about 14/15 and the likes of the Libertines and the Strokes came along. I think if I was to credit any one band with me getting into music it would be the Strokes. There are many bands I like a lot more of than them but their's was one of the first "proper" albums I bought so it will always be pretty special to me. At that time I also listened to loads of the Cure, Smiths, Beatles but they weren't at all new at the time despite being extremely evocative of that time so I left them out. So anyway, the music that's really evocative of this period isn't strictly speaking even the best music I listened to then. It's just what reminds me of it you know because it was some of the first music I picked up on as soon as it was released. Here goes: 1. 12:51 - The Strokes 2. Death On The Stairs - The Libertines 3. Don't Look Back Into The Sun - The Libertines 4. Party Line - Adam Green 5. 32 of December - Babyshambles 6. Jesusland -Ben Folds 7. All Of This - blink-182 8. Banquet - Bloc Party 9. Landlocked Blues - Bright Eyes 10. The Suffering - Coheed and Cambria 11. Cannonball - Damien Rice 12. I Believe In A Thing Called Love - The Darkness 13. 16 Military Wives - The Decemberists 14. Tumble and Fall - Feeder 15. Meantime - The Futureheads 16. Gimme Some Love - Graham Coxon 17. (Don't) Give Hate A Chance - Jamiroquai 18. Deadweight On Velveteen - José Gonzalez 19. This Is The Last Time - Keane 20. Molly's Chambers - Kings Of Leon 21. Eddie's Gun - The Kooks 22. Make A Move - Lostprophets 23. First Of The Gang To Die - Morrissey 24. Time Is Running Out - Muse 25. Stumble and Fall - Razorlight 26. By The Way - Red Hot Chili Peppers 27. Blueside - Rooney 28. Crumb By Crumb - Rufus Wainwright 29. Firecracker - Ryan Adams 30. Mary - The Subways 31. Come On, Feel The Ilinoise - Sufjan Stevens 32. Pain Killer - Turin Brakes Yeah so mostly the years 2003-2005 for me.
  11. I played this for the first time today cause one of my flatmates bought it. It's pretty good. It was pretty cool how it now has that double-KO type thing when they both simulataneously run out of fuel. I don't know if it's new or not as i haven't played a smackdown game since like the Brock Lesnar one but good fun all the same.
  12. wasn't there some dinosaur murdering game or something that began with x?
  13. It turns out that I am going to see Bloc Party on Monday. My friend is paying for my ticket. Bizarre that. It better be good.
  14. Mansfield Town have signed Curtis Woodhouse. I know it's hardly big news but the name stuck out at me a bit because he was awesome on Championship Manager 2000/2001. Funny that.
  15. Took Faldo out. 1. Pat Nevin (football/soccer) 2. Boris Becker (tennis) 3. Andy Goram (football/soccer) 4. Steve Redgrave (rowing) 5. Steve Waugh (cricketer)
  16. Faldo has retired from being relevant for a lot more than 3 years.
  17. FUCK YOUR AYR UNITED! haha Best game ever tonight. Fantastic atmosphere. Off to Inverness now! If I have the money... Oh and it turns out the Ayr goal was handball anyway. Cheating scum! Forfar Athletic v Rangers Airdrie United v Dunfermline Athletic Heart of Midlothian v Falkirk Inverurie Locos or Motherwell v St Mirren Aberdeen v East Fife Celtic v Queen's Park Hamilton Academical v Dundee United Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Kilmarnock
  18. DEP are actually one the few metal bands I like all that much. I never knew what they did was mathcore. Good for them.
  19. Only films I've seen that were mentioned here were Love Guru and Mamma Mia. The Love Guru was atrocious. I'll not hear a word against Pierce Brosnan in Mamma Mia though. :@
  20. I'm quite surprised that I've only seen two of these films.
  21. I'll take this as a joke post and direct you to read the rest of the thread first. If you are picking people from obscure sports like cycling can you please list the sport next to the name. Keep these coming. ...no it's not a joke post. I just didn't see the point of choosing people that I've never witnessed playing. Furthermore they have all excelled in their sports and number 1 is like a local hero. So not really a joke post. Apart from Princess Anne. Though she still won an olympic medal. EDIT: Damn I didn't realise they must have been retired. Just making a new list. EDIT 2: New list 1. Nick Faldo (golf) 2. Pat Nevin (football/soccer) 3. Boris Becker (tennis) 4. Andy Goram (football/soccer) 5. Steve Redgrave (rowing)
  22. 1. David Fernandez 2. Boris Becker 3. Pat Nevin 4. Chris Hoy 5. Princess Anne
  23. METALMAN

    NOOOOOO!

Yes she is. I never knew.
  24. If Alan Hansen can advertise supermarket deals anyone can.
