Clemson has to go in next season as one of the favorites. Those guys played some great football.

Thinking this means our offensive playbook isn't changed much and is a move to give consistency for a group that has had quite a bit of turnover in the last few years.

Deshaun Watson is pretty damn good.

Vontaze Burfict is going to be suspended for 3 games.

I think I'm going to root for Alabama, though it isn't like I dislike Clemson at all. Hopefully it isn't a blowout because that would just make this years playoffs pretty awful.

While Syndicate has its faults, it is a step in the right direction as far as gameplay for the series. I enjoyed the Jack The Ripper dlc quite a bit too. I'm also thrilled with the recent news that Ubisoft is going to cut back on releasing Assassin's Creed annually if it means they spend the time on the story as well as polishing up the games so that disasters like Unity don't happen again. No Assassin's Creed in 2016. Next will be set in Egypt. EDIT: No main Assassin's Creed game is more accurate. Still have the Russia and China games coming out but those are side scrolling.

This is my biggest gripe with the NFL right now. I'd like to see all hits above the shoulders be deemed illegal and that ends all discussion. Guys will have to learn to not do it and if it means a bunch of penalties for a few games then so be it. But don't put on this "Oh we are so concerned by concussions and head injury" talk if you are still going to designate that some guys can be hit above the shoulders.

If I was a Bengals player, I'd thank Jones and Burfict for being outstanding team players. And Steelers win, but the Bengals can only blame themselves. EDIT: That Burfict hit though is one of those things the NFL needs to address with the head hit policy. Just make all hits above the shoulders an offense no matter if it is a runner, passer, blocker, etc. Otherwise, it leaves too many grey areas. I don't think that is anywhere near being the worst head targeting hit I've seen, because it honestly looked like a shoulder to head more than the crown to helmet that was given to Bernard.

I don't have anything really invested in the Bengals vs. Steelers, but it is making me nervous. Wouldn't mind seeing the Bengals advance if I had to choose. Vontaze Burfict is an idiot though.

So Cutler has already commented on Dowell Loggains being promoted to OC. A bit of continuity to the offense would be nice, though I can't say I know much about Loggains.

Rumours going around are that it is a DDoS attack. I might use this time to play something on the Wii U because I really don't use that system at all and have a small collection of stuff to play.

Injustice Gods Among Us on PS4 seems to have some very punctilious controls. I spent a good while in the tutorial but had to quit because some of the combos just would not work at all. I now realize why I've never really cared for any fighting games besides my nostalgic love for Power Stone. At least this was a free game for PS+ that I got months ago.

I really need to find a 1B, because Illinois football is essentially in purgatory at this point.

So I got the digital version after letting my cousin have the disc. Looking to get back into doing the heists, which I believe I've only actually done the first two.

Just beat the (first?) Afghanistan mission. No clue what I am doing and wish I had a sniper rifle to take out some of the patrols.

I'm not too upset about the Beckman situation. I'm at the point to where I think Mike Thomas (Illinois AD) needs to go and a new AD needs to be brought in before the football team has a chance at becoming better. If Cubit does well I think you keep him on for another couple of years and focus on getting some young co-ordinators with one eventually being promoted to HC. But, this is Illinois... so that is easier said than done.

I finished a single run of Temple last night. We should get some 4-player runs together.

So I'm about 12 or 13 hours into my fresh run of ME1. Looking at possibly getting all the ally, level 60, and use ___ 75 times achievements, but all the side missions are just grinding on me already. I'll probably end up doing 2 full playthroughs of this game and move onto ME2, because three back to back playthroughs for the ally achievements might drive me up the wall.

Patrick Sharp and Stephen Johns to Dallas for Trevor Daley and Ryan Garbutt. Not really sure I understand the reasoning behind the trade, but I think Bowman has slightly earned people to hold off on throwing him to the wolves.
