Re-signing Andrew Desjardins was a nice bit of news. Really liked his play in the playoffs and for only 800k is a nice depth piece for the team.

I'm pissed and upset about the Saad trade. EDIT: Looking at the return, it could be worse. If the rumour of Saad wanting 5.5+ is true, I see where we just couldn't afford to keep him with the other big salaries we still have. Just sucks to see one of my favorite young guys shipped out when I'd much rather see both Bickell and Sharp be gone.

I was really tempted to go ahead and buy a XB1 since they have a free game promotion going on, but I'm way too curious about the probable Halo 5 console.

Kris Versteeg declines a trade to Montreal. And now rumours are that Boston is interested in Sharp. My Blackhawk love is known around these parts, but I'd love that #15 pick just to make the Hamilton trade even more ridiculous.

So it's pretty certain that the Blackhawks have Patrick Sharp on the trade block. Considering the cap crunch, Chicago pretty much has to hope for a decent draft pick and a prospect in return. I'd also like to see us trade Bickell to give a bit more cap room for some FAs. -

I like the news of backwards compatibility. I'll probably pick up the rumoured Halo 5 console now that I don't have to worry about keeping my 360 hooked up when I get my Mass Effect itches.

Stoked about Dishonored 2. Will be more stoked if NHL 16 actually has EASHL features because I'd love to play that with the original group again.

The Shrieker fight is really being a pain in the ass for me. Using all the weaknesses the bestiary tells me to use, but he still ends up downing me when I have him 2/3s down.

I hadn't played FM for a while, so Eastside is sort of overwhelming at times. Decided I'd start as Edmonton because I want to figure out how to build a defensive line.

Nope. I honestly don't care for doing PvP stuff, I've always gravitated to PvE modes which luckily Destiny has strikes and raids to hold me over.

Bought the digital version for PS4. Early reviews make this seem like it is easily in the running for GOTY.

I'd say both storywise and gameplay wise that it is a pretty skippable experience.

Unity has really soured the Assassin's Creed franchise for me. It will take some very positive reviews and some strong new features for me to even consider a day one buy. I'm thinking I'll probably just hold off a couple of months until the price of used copies drops.

So I'm usually working 10-3 CST during the week now and workout for an hour between 3-6 CST. I've been a terrible GTA friend to you lovely brits.

I saw the movie yesterday and still don't quite know how I feel about the movie. Had some really cool moments and I enjoyed that Hawkeye ended up getting some of the focus, but it just kind of felt like a bit of a filler movie until The Vision showed up. I'd say a solid B is probably right if I had to rate it.
