  1. Cars Its Pixar. Its John Lasseter. It's gorgeous. It's going to rock! Little Miss Sunshine This film recieved the biggest buzz at Sundance, and it has a great cast including the 40 year old virgin Steve Carell. This could be the sleeper hit of the summer. The Fast And The Furious Tokyo Drift Whats summer without pointless sequals? It could be fun.......
  2. The Hills Have Eyes: 7/10 I have a soft spot for Horror films, and well, even though this brings nothing new to the table, its still well made and gruesomely fun. Never did see the original though.
  3. Did anyone include Legend of Zelda as one of the biggest, especially Ocarina of Time. There's also Halo, Half-life, Doom, Goldeneye 007. None really controversial(if at all), but all are big, in terms of sales, great quality, long lasting memories.
  4. V for Vendetta: 7.5/10 Its like the first good film of 2006 About time.
  5. Games I actually can't wait for....but have to: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess(Gamecube) Zelda for DS A True Pokemon sequal for DS ELder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Halo 3 Games I'm probably gonna buy, but have to wait(don't mind that much): Kingdom Hearts 2 Mortal Kombat: Armegeddon
  6. Glengarry Glen Ross: 8.5/10 How can you go wrong with a modern day's Death of a Salesman with Jack Lemmon, Al Pacino, Kevin Spacey and Ed Harris? Not only that but Alec Baldwin, who appears only once, has a great scene that is only a bit over 5 minutes in length. A Very good film with great performances, Jack Lemmon being the standout.
  7. I still can't see why the academy ignored the films superb cinematography in its nominations, but whatever. I do agree with Racehl Weiz, she was superb, and so was Ralph Fiennes...but too bad it just had to be an incredible year for an acotrs. Dances With Wolves: 8/10
  8. Failure To Launch: 4/10 Aside from the amazing Zooey Deschanel(who deserves much better then this) and a few(I mean like 1 or 2) scenes with comedy, its your typical BAD romantic comedy. If your girlfriend asks you to see this, watch When Harry Met Sally for 100th time instead.

THE NEW WORLD For our next award, for Best Villain, let me say that last year has been extra special for the baddies, I have yet to see a year to surpass the villains here or in other films. This has been a maginificant year for villains. As for the nominees, One we have see before but not like this, one that we were dying to see return to full power, one who was just baddass, another gave fright to a Batman, and finally one who's a queen who bitchslaps children like its nothing. Wonderful. ANNE HATHAWAY IN BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN Before I go into Best Actor, I just want to say that I have never seen so many great male leads in my life. If you put any of them in last years academy awards, or if you put any of the nominees chosen by the academy awards this year in any other award show last year, they would win. Jamie Foxx would have no chance. Anyways, The Nominees for Best Actor are: Phillip Seymour Hoffman in Capote Joaquin Phoenix in Walk The Line Nathan Fillion in Serenity Ralph Fiennes in The Constant Gardener Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain And The Award Goes To.................... HEATH LEDGER IN BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN The EWB's Nominees for Best Actress are: Laura Linney in The Squid and The Whale/Exorcism of Emily Rose Naomi Watts in King Kong Resse Witherspoon in Walk The Line Maria Bello in A History of Violence Ziyi Zhang in Memoirs of a Geisha AND THE AWARD GOES TO..... 10. 19. Academy Award Winner Rachel Weisz (Has a nice ring to it)
  11. So much hotness: Charlize Theron, Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, and Kristin Kreuk
  12. Actually, I thought all the songs sucked, and the only one I thought the slight bit worthy to win was In The Deep. Anyway, this was one of the very few categories that I didn't feel the winner deserved the award, in my opinion of course. I hope they have *better* songs next year. At least most things were fine.
  13. Overall another good Oscars, loved the Reese win, and finally Ang Lee has a deserving Best Director oscar, bothered by the Crash Best Picture win, but there's been worse winners. Still, I was rooting for Brokeback Mountain. Other notes: 1.) Loved most of the speeches made by the actors and actresses, nothing over the top(like Halle Berry) or incredibly cheesy(Hilary Swank) 2.) Keira Knightly and Jessical Alba and Salma Hayek were goddesses 3.) Dolly Parton has huge breasts 4.) Three 6 Mafia has an Academy Award...what? 5.) Jon Stewart was great Overall I got 16 out of the 24 nominations correctly predicted, the most notable one I got wrong was Best Picture.
  14. I'm glad Kate Hudson made the list, my favourite so far.
  15. That sucks. But I know the game will kickass when its released. It is like the only game I really want.
  16. I'm really anticipating V for Vendetta, plus it has Natalie Portman in it which is extra points. But I'll also be reading the reviews, anything below 40% in Rotten Tomatoes is skeptical at best.
  17. Eva Green is another good choice...she has hotness all over.
  18. It looks interesting...but I wasn't too fond of Napoleon Dynamite, but you can't go wrong with Jack Black and wrestling. Hell I even got a kick out of watching Ready to Rumble, so I might just check this one out.
  19. To those who cared  ^_^ : Voting closes February 20th
  20. Several times? Well, I guess you can add another one to the list.
  21. Its a shame that the X-Box had to get the shaft in terms of the quality in the WWE games. They could of done so much.
  22. I wonder if Katie Vick will be the reason why Kane's so angry I don't know about the trailer...the film looks like pure cheese, and hey, there have been good cheesy horror films, maybe this is one.
