Final Destination: 6/10 Bad acting? Check. Holes in the plot? Check. Awesome death scenes that make-up for all that? Check. If you liked the first and second, you'll like this. Its not as good as the original(how surprising), but I liked it better then the 2nd, but not by much. Just don't expect anyhting mindblowing or oscarworthy, becuase this is not that type of movie. When a Stranger Calls: 2/10 After FD3 we snuck in to see this load of crap, and left after 40 or so minutes. 1 point for the hottness of the lead, and another point for a cool house.

I loved that Kelly won 2 grammy's, she's such a cutie, and has seperated herself from the Americon Idol to a legit singer to be respected. (A great singer too)

Looking forward to the hockey of course and the skating competitions. Hell, I'll watch some of the Skiing stuff if I don't have too much work this month.

Its funny how I put Tilda in the Best supporting actress category while everone else puts her in the Best Actress category, the funny thing is that this type of stuff happens all the time.....category confusion...and thats why Mario Bello wasn't nominated(or Laura Linney) because the academy split them up, some putting them in one category while others put them in the other one. The funny thing is no one is really wrong, but it killed Scarlett Johannson's chances in Lost in Translation, when members of the academy were split putting her on both actress categories and unfortunentley there wasn't enough for one, so she was snubbed. Therefore, if there are more votes for Tilda Swinton in the Best Actress category then the Best Supporting Actress, she will be placed in the Best Actress category. If she has enough votes to move on to both categories she will be placed in the category with the higher placed number of votes. This goes for any actor. (Personally I wouldn't mind seeing her in the Best Actress category )

I liked 3 better then 2 too(but thats not saying much), but the original is still the best of the bunch. As for the trailer, looks like the same stuff minus the fart jokes. But it doesn't matter because I know my friends will drag me into it.

With all this Award season madness(which ends at the Kodak theatre on March 5th), I think its about time we choose the best performers and films for our little board. Grumpy Old Men: 7/10 Still a good film (Y)

The MVP should go to the Ref's.....fully deserved You can't blame it on the Steelers though, they played a hell of a game.

Underworld 2: Evolution: 6/10 I didn't like the first one, but I actually enjoyed this film, nothing really stands out(except the hottness of Kate Beckinsale) but I was entertained, which surprised me.

It looks good, and it looks like they have the atmosphere of the game which is a sigh of relief (*cough*Resident Evil*cough*). The film has potential, lets just hope they can deliver all the goods(from the script to the acting).

Wow that Goldberg one is hilarious....pure comedy genius(the turnbuckle one). There's a lot of painful ones too....like Lita trying to injure herself again. The opening clip is hilarious too with Orton announcing the tag match but for the World title on the line :lmao:

This is one of the few films I'm anticipating in 2006, and having Rachel McAdams would be a good choice. I love how they're going back to the old school Bond films....and I do hope they keep the torture scene from the novel, that would be kickass.

The order is always something thats going to be argued, I don't know a lot of it, but I do have the the large book with all the books in it, and Caspian is the fourth, but didn't Lewis publish it 2nd?
