  1. The best is when I had a film make over 2 billion dollars in North America alone. I think it was Zelda, and then I remember making a sequal......and it flopped causing me to go bankrupt (It wasn't my fault I had to get a new actor for Link just because Sean Ashmore died, although there could of been a better candidate other then Orlando Bloom) The first thing I'm going to do is ceate another Zelda film, and if successful complete the trilogy by filming the 2 sequals back to back ala Pirates of The Carribean style.
  2. I'm excited, I also feel like I've been waiting forever for this game. I guess we can expect a new diary from ROC (Y)
  3. So far this is the best film of the year. I loved every second of it, and the best movie of the summer.
  4. Little Miss Sunshine: 9/10 Best film of the year so far.
  5. Monster House: 8/10 Monster House is a very inventive, enjoyable, animated flick that produces a lot of scares and few laughs. I loved every imaginative thought that was put into the script, and the quirky wit added to the characters. Unlike other haunted house movies, like The Haunting or House on Haunted Hill, this one has a home that breathes, moves, and even glares at people. This a real fun Halloween movie that walks in the footsteps of Stephen King or H.P. Lovecraft. It’s a summer treat or trick from producers Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg. This may not be the best animated film of the year, but it should definitely be considered as one of the best.
  6. I'll be seeing it tomorrow. This is going to be the greatest movie I'll ever see, hopefully even better then showgirls!
  7. Thats good to here as I was actually looking forward to the show, wondering how they could pull off a show about one of the most worthless superheroes ever. I did hear it was a good pilot though so I might check it out.

  10. I was actually surprised on how good the Devils Rejects was, it really played with your head, and actually had a meaning to it (Evil is on both sides). The film was also funny(in a disturbing way though) at some scenes (like the maid getting scared of the girl).
  11. Box office estimates are up, and with Dead Mans Chest gaining a domestic total of 258 Million dollars in just two weeks, how far fo you think it will go. I say it has a firm place in the top 10 grossers of all time, and may enter the top 5. Any predictions? In other news, I'm glad The Devil Wears Parada is doing amazing business, its always good to see Meryl Streep do her thing, and I'll be watching the film sometime next weekend.
  12. 7/10 ALthough loads of fun, there were some scenes that felt unnecessary and dragged the pace of the film, but most of the time the film provided swashbuckling entertainment and sets up the third film of the trilogy with excitement and high expectations. (Please lets not have a Matrix debacle!)
  13. The Star Wars Saga The Lord of The Rings Trilogy Chinatown Pulp Fiction E.T. The Shawshank Redemption Psycho The Wizard of Oz The Matrix Toy Story 1 and 2 Casablanca
  14. I'd see the Man of Steel if I were you (Y)

    Superman

I loved the film and was by far the best film I've seen this year. It was fun, it was entertaining, and Brandon Routh was perfect as the man of steel as was Spacey as Luthor.
  16. Superman Returns: 8/10 First off let me say that I thought the acting was well done; Kevin Spacey pulled off a pretty good Lex Luthor and Brandon Routh did an excellent job as Superman, which reminded me so much of the way Christopher Reeves pulled off his character. I was even amazed at how much screen time James Marsden got in this, I mean I think he got more to do in this movie than in all three X-Men movies. Anyways the CGI, especially the airplane sequence and the climax were just and the music score was also incredible, nothing made me happier to hear John Williams original work once again. Even though there wasn't as much action as I was expecting, the story was more than entertaining(although a bit too campy for some people)enough to hold my attention. Overall my hand goes out to Bryan Singer for making a Superman movie on par with the originals in my eyes.
  17. Looks awesome. It's going to look even better when I see it before Superman Returns. I loved the first 2 spiderman films and I expect to love this one too. Transformers, Spiderman 3, Harry Potter 5, Pirates 3, The Bourne Ultimatum, Shrek 3, next summer is packed!!
  18. I was actually surprised it was Paris Hilton when I first heard it,and overall I think its catchy. Its not bad, and I can name much worse.
  19. Who would have thought I'd jump to the Oiler Bandwagon this year? I did predict at the beginning for the Hurricanes to win it all, and congrats to them. Hopefully next year, the cup will come to a Canadian team, with Toronto on the very top of the list, and Ottawa at the bottom I'm also excited to see what Paul Maurice will do to shake up the team.
  20. So far nothing spectacular in the theatres.....until next week when Superman Returns. Cars takes the number 1 spot at the Box office, and I still haven't seen it.
  21. Here's my 20(in no order): Super Mario Bro's(NES) Super Mario 3(NES) Super Mario World(SNES) StarCraft(PC) The Sims(PC) Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time(N64) Metroid Prime(Gamecube) Halo(X-Box) Golden-Eye(N64) Super Mario 64 (N64) Street Fighter 2 Turbo (SNES) Sonic The Hedgehog (Sega Genesis) NHL 95(SNES) Grand Auto 3(PS2) Mortal Kombat 1/2/3 (SNES/Sega Genesis) Pokemon Red/Blue(Gameboy) WWE Smackdown: Here comes the Pain WWF No Mercy(N64) Super Smash Bro's Melee (Gamecube) Extreme Warfare Revenge(PC)
  22. I watch it, and thought the season finale was great, Smallville has become my favourite show right next to 24 and Lost. I can't wait until season 6 starts, and hopefully it will be as good seasons 2,3, and 5. I agree with Beatnik though, season 4(aside from the finale and the season primiere) was the worst season. Season 1 is meh, but thats only because the following 2 seasons blow it out of the water. By the way, the Season 5 DVD set comes out in stores on September 12th.
  23. X-Men 3: The Last Stand- 6.5/10
