  1. Oh, Aaron Pierce damn well better be Wayne Palmer's head of secret service. Aaron Pierce is the MAN.
  2. Yup, Burnout for a laugh. If you wanna get stuck into something, play Manhunt.
  3. Final Fantasy 7 Metal Gear Solid (on the PS1) Monkey Island Manhunt GTA: Vice City Legend of Zelda (The Super Nintendo one) Street Fighter 2 Goldeneye Star Wars : Knights of The Old Republic Guitar Hero
  4. Manhunt was fucking awesome. I also dont think it got repetitive. It starts of quite stealthy, with the emphasis on making the most brutal kills, but as it goes on it gets more and more frantic with the emphasis more on just staying alive long enough to fuck starkweather up.
  5. Ha, Milo was awesome. and in one of the books (I'm a total 24 geek) he actually is capable of being pretty badass. Definately looking forward to that. And Eddie Izzard? Weird, but awesome (Y)
  6. I think I got it from HMV a while ago, so they should have it. It's a decent movie.
  7. The film makes more sense if you've played the games. Otherwise it's a noggin scratcher.
  8. I found Metal Gear 1 and 2 pretty easy (especially 1), so if 3's harder it may not be a bad thing. Unless it's like 'Stuntman' hard. That was the most frustrating game in the fucking world.
  9. I have Guitar Hero and FFX, both awesome Metal Gear 3 might be a good idea though, as I LOVED 1 and 2, but have never even played 3.
  10. I fancy a bash on the ol' PS2 tonight, but am bored of all the games I own. So, in my dinner break from work I am going to buy something to play tonight. The problem is I don't really know what to buy, so list some of your favourite games here, and inspire me. Any genre is fine. GO.
  11. I don't know, why don't you have a look?
  12. Yeah, gigs definately. Then you get the memories to go with it. Other than that though I use loudclothing.com (or.co.uk or whatever) and ebtm.com (or co.uk or whatever). Both are cheapish and free shipping if I remember right.

  14. I saw Coheed last week, and Cursive at the weekend. Next one planed is a local(ish) band called Freefall Felix, the next 'big' one planned is Fightstar (not really bothered about them, but Scary Kids Scaring Kids are apparently supporting, and I wouldn't mind seeing them).
  15. They were awesome when I saw them. And for 10 frickin dollars (what's that, like 7 quid?) it's gotta be worth it.

    Mob Movies

I'd reccomend a movie called "made". It's by basically the same crew that did "swingers", and it stars Favreau and Vaughn in the 2 lead roles. It's not a mob movie per se, and in no way is it really essential, but it's a cracking film none the less, and i think it only cost me about 3 quid new. Well worth picking up.
  17. Casket records is an aff shoot of Copro, and it's the label my old band are signed to. Enemo-J, check 'em out if you're into metal.
  18. Leading on from the Mars Volta suggestions (or leading backwards I suppose), I always found ATDI lyrics to be pretty bizarre. Very poetic, but half the time I had no idea what he was on about. "Invalid Litter Dept." intravenously polite it was the walkie-talkies that had knocked the pins down as their shoes gripped the dirt floor in the silhouette of dying dancing on corpses' ashes yeah, they had plans for him they has spun the last of the pimps polyester, satin nailed jewelry lips while the guillotine just laughed again dancing on the corpses' ashes paramedics fell into the wound like a rehired scab at a barehanded plant an anesthetic penance beneath the hail of contraband they had been defected and excommunicated and all the pulses were subverted and they made sure the obituaries showed pictures of smoke stacks a vivid dissection that mocked the strut of vivisection semi-automatic colonies and a silencing that still walks the streets in the company of wolves was a stretcher made of cobblestone curfews the federales performed their custodial customs quite well callous heels numbed in travel endless maps made by their scalpels on my way nails broke and fell into the wishing well I've also always found the RHCP to have bizarre (almost stupid at some points) lyrics. "Mellowship Slinky In B Major" I've got a mellowship, I've got a fellowship I've got a nonstop "yo swan" hello chip Born to adore the big bad bison Thunderstorm and a man like Tyson Popcorn peanuts lookin' at big butts No I can not keep my mouth shut Rockin' to the beat of the fabulous forum My Lakers I adore 'em Blush my lady when I tell her The I do indeed love to smell her Sopping wet your pink umbrella Do the dog with Isabella I'm so in love yes with an artist Imagination, he's the smartest Robert Williams, stroke and splatter I attest to your gray matter Living kings how true it rings These are just a few of my favorite things Good God where's my sleigh Good God playing for days Good God any day now Good God take me away Good God purple haze Good God the baddest of brains Good God anyday now Good God ridin' my sleigh now Being that I'm the duke of my domain My hat goes off to Mark Twain Singing a song about what true men don't do Killing another creature that's kind of blue Writing about the world of the wild coyote Good man Truman Copote Talking about my throughts 'cuase they must grow Cock my brain to shoot my load I'm on the porch 'cause I lost my housekey Pick up my book I read Bukowski Can I get another kiss from you Kiss me right here on my tattoo [repeat 1st half of Good God section] Good God DeNiro's insane Good God rackin' my brain Good God anyday now Good God take me away now take me away Me my friends and the sex machine Do unto others like my brother Bean I know you've got a mother So give her a hug I know you've got a mother With a whole lot of love Billy sings and Basie swings These are just a few of my favorite things So yeah, I'm sure there are others too.

  20. the language in the dimmer rooms seems to represent its light source well how soft they speak and seem to be at peace with the movement of the music and the madness that is pulling me into this and the shades of the lamps are woven red the light, it stains and consecrates anointing all forgotten forms that swirl and smoke and haunt this place the girls in gowns all nurse the dark pulling it near to their swelling breasts and watch as it seeps to their hearts and beats within their virgin chests and here i know seduction breeds from wanton hearts that would seduce and grows and spreads its vine and leaves embracing those who might have moved but now we're made to drink the night from vials black and thick with such intoxicating delights would leave you drunk inside this dream and you watch them take the light from you and you find yourself on a velvet couch tasting the skin of a foreign girl her eyes are black and wet like oil and she ties your hands with a string of pearls and you tremble like a frightened bird as she closes in and captures you to place you in a silver cage deep within her poisoned womb so once your safe inside, she might let you out to fly in circles around the room but its always night and there is no moon and you wonder if you are alive and you're not sure if you want to be but you drink her sweat like it was wine and you lay with her on a bed of blue and its awful sweet like the fruit she cuts and feeds to you
  21. For 15 quid (or even 20) I think it's worth it. I have the PSP version and while it's more akin to GTAIII than San Andreas, it's still as much fun as it ever was.
