  1. What episode are they up to? I play all the Telltale games when the price drops far enough but last I checked Game of Thrones was on episode four and this was still on two.
  2. Yeah although apprently you can convert magic usage to stamina usage and vice versa for some skills, although I'm not that far. My build is 75% magic, 25% health and nothing in stamina. I've seen a couple of builds that are 100% in one thing only. Which makes sense as I think the power of some abilities is tied to your magic/stamina stat.
  3. Oh those are individual to each piece of armour/weapon. In theory you could research every trait and be able to put any of those bonuses on any crafted armour. I'm referring to the skill lines you level up by wearing each armour type. For example, I think one of the light armour skills adds 2% to total magicka, with a further 2% boost for every extra piece of light armour worn (to a maximum of 5 pieces). Same for medium and stamina. Otherwise there would be no reason not to wear all heavy.
  4. Got my first blue item today. Unfortunately its a sword so I won't be using it, but still pretty cool considering it was a loot chest drop on the world map. Actually I've foraged some purple epic runes too but can't do anything with them for a while.
  5. Hang on, now you mention it medium might be stamina and heavy is health. Sounds more likely.
  6. Oh and when you get to level 15 you get to hotkey switch between two weapons, and also assign 5 seperate skills to each. Your armour is the same for both, but it allows for Instant switch from DPS to tank or destruction magic to healer.
  7. You get different bonuses for what you're wearing, light armour is magic based and heavy is stamina based. The boost is amplified based on how much you wear of each. I try and wear a mixture of light for the boosts and heavy for the protection, with a couple of medium so you level that skill line up too. You can switch to pretty much any style as long as you're willing to put the time in amd level everything up and seek out enough skill points. That should get you through most solo content and basic group stuff but obviously a dedicated sorcerer with traits and equipment to match is going to outperform a jack of all trades one in PVP and higher level dungeons.
  8. The joke: "The Fifa president, secretary general and communications director are all travelling in a car. Who's driving? The police."
  9. That must hurt. Sacked for making a joke by the 'women should play in tighter shorts' guy.
  10. Unlocked guilds and PVP today. PVP was dead, although should pick up as more people reach Level 10.

    Fallout 4

Really racking my brain and the closest thing I can think of is Far Cry 4 for gameplay and Metro for plot/atmosphere.
  12. If anyone was put off Type O by the motion blur apparently it was patched today to tone it down.
  13. I found the cave entrance and then killed the werewolf so you should be able to go round it. I don't even really remember the tactics I used, just make sure you're using oils and things. Maybe use Quen when it starts regenerating and wail on it?
  14. I haven't had any connection issues but a bit of lag in built up cities. Decided to go high elf nightblade dual wielding as it most closely resembled what I gravitated towards in Skyrim and will help with the solo content, aldemeri dominion too as apparently it has the best story. Saying that, I can't help but level up everything. I'm probably going to arse around with a restoration staff later tonight.
  15. It hasn't turned out that bad for me. Started at 10am and is about 10gb in. Should be done around 2 which is half the time it told me originally (8 hours) >_>
  16. Yeah I'm not too fussed on achievements but the trophy fanatics are pretty pissed at it because "some of us care about our 100%'s". I don't know if a developer can retroactively chamge trophies?
  17. Yeah you can get the core game for £40/50 an that's it. There are a ton of add ons you can look at though. There's a £9.99 monthly sub you can pay that adds 10% to all gold and exp earned and reduces all crafting times by the same. It also gives you access to future DLC for free. Oh and 1500 crowns (in game currency) every month. Or you can buy crowns in the PSN store. The ESO store has little things like mounts, costumes, boosts, and will probably be expanded. Or (I think) you can get packs that give you little things, free horse etc. I doubt I'll use that much but I suppose it's cool that you can pick and choose what you want and none of its going to give you an impossible edge over those that just buy the disc. I'll probably dip in and out of the sub to try and keep some sort of pace with friends who are either students or unemployed and got started at the midnight launch :/
  18. Oh fuck, it wasn't a joke when I heard there was a 16gb update to download first.
  19. To be honest the AAA market is still pretty sparse on next gen. I'm enjoying The Witcher 3, and it definitely has 50 quids worth of content, but it probably isn't for everyone if you don't want to drop everything and live in it. The Elder Scrolls Online goes live in 24 hours and is only B2P now - but again it caters for pretty specific tastes . I'll be picking it up on launch so will let people know if there's anything to the optimism some people have or if it's just a 10lb MMO turd forced into a 5lb Elder Scrolls labelled bag. Apart from what you mentioned already, no big games of note out anytime soon off the top of my head. If you want to check out the store, maybe look at Axiom Verge and Shovel Knight, a lot of positive reviews for those.
  20. To be fair its a completely different landscape now. I'm still sceptical, but two years ago I'd have thought Septic Bladder resigning would be ludicrous too.
  21. I'm hoping something like this turns up soon. I have 3 sets of Witcher gear but don't want to get rid as I think I read you can upgrade them down the line.
  22. Ugh how is this Ireland settlement headline news? They basically settled out of court based on "strong legal advice". They've even had the Irish FA president on the radio saying "this is fair", played it in the news piece and in the next breath linked it to corruption.
  23. I just think it's different. It's got a hint of Dark Souls in that if you're not paying attention or go in unprepared you can easily be overwhelmed and beaten. I like that though, the difficult combat and minimal exp for killing enemies almost makes you feel like a Witcher would - in that I only really engage in combat when there's something in it for me or no other choice. Unlike most other games where you're encouraged to fight absolutely everything.
  24. To be fair, if you fill FIFA with the opposition then it's just as slimy. Luis Figo, David Ginola and Michel Platini look they could be running a human trafficking ring in Taken 4.
  25. I started on Death March because I wanted to get everything in one play through, but dropped it down to Broken Bones due to time and the reload time on dying. I kinda wish I didn't though now I've gotten to grips with it. That said, the camera in fights against multiple enemies makes it much more difficult on Death March. It's zoomed in way too close, making it impossible to track all the enemies and I find myself dodge rolling into enemies off screen and the extra damage means luck plays just as big a part as skill.. Single enemies/bosses isn't too bad. I usually die once or twice while I figure out their attack patterns then can get through relatively unscathed.
