  1. Dismantle various household appliances and build your own!
  2. Yeah it's mine. I think I had you on an older account but took ages to add everyone when I migrated over to that one.
  3. I view them a bit like the Zelda or GTA series in that nothing really changes the core of the game and you probably wouldn't want to play two or more in the series back to back. The difference being the other games have huge development times between sequels while Assassins Creed is a yearly series. Nearly everyone is just tired of them at this point.
  4. Step 2: Collect a lot of pointless shit.
  5. I disagree. Although we probably want different things as I'm not particularly bothered about multiple playthroughs. I think it would be much more intriguing for a game to say "you should have been nice to these people, you get nothing" or "you were too trusting and got conned out of gold" or whatever. I'd much rather have a single playthrough where your decisions have a bit more gravitas to them and you have to think what to do. Instead of okay I've done a good game, now an evil one with slightly different rewards where you basically do the opposite of what you did last time.
  6. Really it should be a 50/50 split. Half the time being good gets the extra goodies while evil either gets gold or nothing. The other half is vice versa. That way you actually have to think about your decisions because you don't "win" either way.
  7. I doubt I'd play the single player at all really. Ideally it'd work like Pro Clubs where you join a team, move up and down divisions and have your own personalised car each. Although I don't know anything about the developer to think if they have the resources for that?
  8. I am a "round the bend exploiter". Are the points likely to count for something in the main game in terms of levelling up/unlockables? The Beta is fun for a time but if there's nothing to work towards I doubt I'd pick this up on release. Also I much prefer 3 or 4 man teams to 1 or 2. Get a decent team and tactics together and I much prefer it to smaller teams.
  9. It's about £30/35 for a years subscription and allows you to play online and some other things. You also get access to 4/5 free games every month and some discounts in the PSN store. Just Wikipedia Playstation Plus for the other features. I would have thought you'd get at least a free month with your new console.
  10. A Kliqstarter if you will...
  11. Dragon Age and Bloodborne are probably the most value for money if you're paying full price for them all. I'd definitely wait for price drops on The Order and DMC while Dying Light falls somewhere in the middle. I presume you're getting Plus sorted? I'd definitely recommend getting that all set up in May so you can pick up Guacamelee for free too.
  12. Looks like if Steve Rogers declined the Captain America serum and tried to sneak through the army physical by wearing a ridiculous fake beard.
  13. I think it's not so much that there aren't many copies around, more that all the people who own them are never going to sell them.
  14. I'll sell you mine for £35 Although that's unusual. My experience of CEX is that it's a good place to pick up a bargain because it's staffed mainly by 20 year old female music students who haven't got the slightest interest.
  15. Just checked. They've got Avengers up to #38 and New Avengers up to #25, with the next issues probably added next week.
  16. I think there's a 6 month delay on issues being added to Unlimited. November 19th releases were the last things added a few days ago and was about 20+ issues. It also had some more historical stuff added.
  17. Just got back from Stewart Lee. It wasn't the best set we've been to (a lot we'd seen at Leicester Square last year) bur it was still great and he was on for two and a half hours so can't really complain. The half hour or so of improvised stuff was good too. "People keep telling me how nice it is to have such a diverse audience base. It's not. You try securing a lucrative marketing deal or sponsorship with that demographic. It's impossible. "
  18. Beat Guacamelee and Never Alone today. Got PT and Counter Spy to have a go at then I'll finally have caught up on my Plus games backlog and be able to try and work through the disc backlog (Lords of the Fallen, Dying Light, FF Type O and a couple of others) before ES:O and Arkham Knight hit in June. Not to mention the dozens of games I'm waiting for price drops on. Also I saw the Last of Us DLC is available in the store as standalone content with the multiplayer. Is anyone playing that on PS4? I liked Factions on PS3, it was a cool concept.
  19. I'm usually pretty fond of games with lots of stuff to do but Witcher 2 was insane. Plus I'm the type of person who hates the idea of missing things so that game just fried my brain after about 3 or 4 hours. I'll pick it up eventually but it's pretty far down 2015's must play list.
  20. One thing that I've noticed during my Marvel read through is Odin makes Thor's counterpart on Earth the 'lame' Donald Blake, his hammer becoming a cane. I sort of see why Thor keeps the Blake persona after he's proven worthy and all that because of the disguise and medical skills, but why does Odin still insist he has to walk with a cane? Surely he could take that away. I can't help but imagine Odin sat on his throne slapping his thigh everytime Thor/Blake gets knocked down in a crowd/nearly fails to escape a building fire/is very nearly killed by an intergalactic super villain.
  21. Man Valiant Hearts ending :'(
  22. Just reached the Days of Future, Past arc in my Marvel read through and noted the comma was left out for the film adaptation. I was so disgusted I put my foot through the iPad and sent Stan Lee the bill. Saying that, so glad I've finally reached the early 80's. The average quality of every run seems to have shot up in every department, especially the art and the move from the standard panel layouts. Frank Millers Daredevil run has just started too, which alongside Claremonts X-Men and some hits from Spiderman/Hulk/Iron Man, makes the countless sucky Fantastic Four/Eternals/Black Panther issues almost worthwhile.
  23. Guacamelee is so good. Hohoken (?) is so bad. Race the Sun is in the middle.
  24. The award for least glamorous World Championship final goes to... Shaun Murphy vs. Stuart Bingham. Who needs Pacquiao/Mayweather?
  25. Yeah a guy I know isn't registered as a Plus subscriber since installing it. Apparently it won't be fixed till Tuesday either.
