  1. Brentford have signed the unfortunately named Andreas Bjelland for £2.1million from Twente.
  2. Its a side scrolling puzzle/platformer with a neat dark, gothic art style full of silhouettes and things. I want to say it maybe set the bar for indie games when it came to PS3 a few years ago. It's certainly one of those 'darlings' of the industry along with Journey and a few others.
  3. Picked up Grim Fandango, hoping that there will be other newly released games included in the coming weeks. Wouldn't mind Axiom Verge or some of the newer Telltale stuff at all.
  4. Well considering the major plot arc so far is trying to figure out a characters secret identity - that's the proverbial toothpaste you can't put back in the tube once it's spoiled.
  5. Nah man, don't do that. If you're as big a Batman fan as you come across, it'd be a shame to ruin your eventual play through because you've spoiled the story.
  6. iPad Air 2, works like a charm. Yeah I think they must have different Smart Panel templates for IPad and Android. I've had stuff that's unreadable using smart panels on my tablet, but done perfectly on the iPad. I've reached Secret Wars in my read through (1984/5) and so far it's...underwhelming. Still another 8 issues of the 12 to go though so fingers crossed.
  7. I 100%'ed Child of Light, so that might be worth a look, might just have been in the mood for an RPG though. Didn't like Nidhogg at all, but it seems to have a cult following. Didn't really care for Trine or Road not Taken either. Will definitely be picking up Grim Fandango though. Had it on PC as a kid but the disc became unreadable about two thirds in. Been waiting for a price drop since it went up on the store.
  8. I still hate them, but the game is really good overall. It's amazing how uncool they've managed to make the Batmobile.
  9. The 'Press X to Start' screen for this game is really creepy.
  10. I wouldn't be surprised if it's IGC on launch. The core paying base I'd have thought is quite small at that price. Might be a smart move to give the bare bones away for free and and have a variety of paid DLC. A bit like Drive Club, but not shit.
  11. We've got both and have easily put 20x as many hours into Fantasy Life, even buying a second copy to play together. Tomodachi just never really grabbed either of us.
  12. Why are you not doing the majority of your shopping online with the rest of mankind? But seriously, don't judge the industry by what GAME or whoever tells you it is. I don't ever pay more than £40/45 for a launch title and I buy one of those a month if that. I just shop around and grab them online or at a supermarket. Most games I read up on, decide what it's worth to me and wait for it to drop to around that price. I agree that DLC and in game purchases are pretty terrible, but I dont feel like I've missed out by only playing the core game - except maybe with Destiny, but even then I got a ton of playtime out of it. I actually think that the industry is in a great place right now. The AAA next gen games are starting to trickle out and the indie library is brilliant, not to mention the free monthly games and things like that.
  13. It's a sad day, just finished Frank Millers run on Daredevil ending with #191. So good. That said X-Men has been a close second and I'm ready for a direction change after this Brood storyline has gone on for so long.
  14. The FFVII announcement trailer has over 3.5 million views inside 24 hours so far, making it the most watched exclusive E3 attraction by far. Last Guardian and Halo have just over 1 million, Uncharted 4 has over 800, 000. The real reason I'm posting this? Assassins Creed has only 50,000...
  15. The emphasis on Remake over remaster worries me. "Bringing Cloud and company into the modern gaming era with an all new action RPG real time battle system! Also no more clunky world map as a new streamlined menu system takes you straight to your destination. Use your summon materia to call forth elemental guardians for Cloud to ride into battle!"
  16. FIFA online next year is just going to be full of idiots spamming that tee up overhead kick.
  17. The idea that Andre Arlovski could be heavyweight champ in 2016 is beautiful.
  18. Yeah signed up for a month too to try and contribute more to PVP now numbers have picked up. I really hope the sales figures are strong so they continue to support it with new content. It'd be a real shame if people dismiss it out of hand just because 'lol mmo'.
  19. The best thing about Jurassic World is reading the potential scripts that were considered during the 10 years of development. Human/dinosaur hybrid mercenaries being the best of the bunch and obviously the creative evolution of the series I'm sure Michael Crichton envisioned.
  20. The emperor thing seems pretty stupid. We just had a Rogue with the emperor tag fighting about twenty guys and holding his own, while also being invincible in that once he got into any kind of trouble he'd either roll or teleport away, instantly heal then return. We managed to take him down in the end and got two or three achievements, but in the meantime the rest of their army took one of our defenceless keeps.
  21. You should just be crafting everything you can, as mentioned you only need to alchemise them once and they're good for the full game. Specifically you want to keep an eye out for enhanced swallow.
  22. I think it's because I went in like a day after launch and not as many people had unlocked pvp at that point. Plus it seems not as many PC players have come over as anticipated.
  23. If you have a mount you can buy 1 extra inventory slot every 24 hours for 250 gold a time. Or you can continually expand your bank allowance - however the gold it costs increases every time. Or you can buy 10 bag slots from the Crown store for 1, 000 crowns. I prefer to expand the bank and dump all my crafting materials in there as they get pulled to the crafting table automatically. PVP is a mystery to me at the minute too. I went in and it was a ghost town. Think you'll need a guild to get anything out of it.
  24. Yeah the next two are the same, although the first acts aren't as strong. It's typical horror though, showing the monster nearly always negatively impacts the movie. It's why Paranormal Activity haven't done the show and tell in five films.
