  1. Has anyone tried Rocket League? I'm told it's really fun but the Plus bug within the beta is putting me off.
  2. It's hardly overkill to go from two movies a year to three. It's not like WWE where to stay on top of it all you need to dedicate 3 hours a week minimum, its 5-10 hours a year. For me two films a year still leaves a pretty big gap between each and three or even four would be about right.
  3. It's well worth playing through just for the story and skipping the other stuff. Wouldn't be too difficult either - aim, flick right stick up, headshot.
  4. Championship Manager 01/02. It has the exact balance of depth, difficulty and speed that I want from a football management sim. Might be my all time most played game.
  5. Yeah if you play the system properly trade ins are still decent. I bought Destiny new, experienced everything over about 50 hours then traded it in for a fiver more than I paid for it. It's buying preowned games that's the rip off nowadays.
  6. I'd welcome Knack. It was pretty cool but the checkpoints are way too far apart and I gave up and traded it in (12 year old me would never forgive me for saying that). I kept the save though in case it goes IGC. Right now there's some decent savings on PSN and I just picked up Nidhogg, Child of Light and nearly Citizens of Earth for a few quid each. I've got 30 games on the list before them but I can't resist cheap.
  7. FF7 or GTA3. They bridged the gap for me between the 'old' one dimensional style of game that required you to master one or two skills and beat levels and bosses into just a completely new experience. I can still remember playing through the opening Midgar portion of FF7 and just thinking, "what is this? How is this possible?". The gameplay, the story, the music, the cast, the longevity, the graphics, the open world, the side quests. It blew my mind.
  8. Really enjoyed it although it feels like it's getting too big and a lot of things are glossed over, which is why 3 is in two parts I suppose.
  9. Arkham Knight definitely and I might be the only person on the board who'll be playing the Elder Scrolls Online when it launches in June.
  10. No idea if anyone here is a Star Wars fan, but Marvel just added like the whole back catalogue of Star Wars comics (about 500 issues) to the Unlimited app, going back from the late 70's to present day.
  11. Cro Cop's skillset is so offensively lopsided you can't help but get behind him. Add the nostalgia factor and I might even have enjoyed a little fist pump at the end there.
  12. I've had it for about 18 months and in that time used it on an Android phone, Android tablet, iPad and my laptop. It can be awkward at times and a bit buggy, but I'd still say well worth it. The laptop viewer is fine. You press the up arrow to zoom into smart panels although on a decent size screen I just use full page view. You can probably zoom in and out manually on desktop but I've never needed to, you can definitely do it on handheld devices. I'd recommend trying a free preview on the Marvel site to check out the online reader if that'll be your main reading method.
  13. Yeah I think Shareplay recommends 4 and I imagine it's fairly similar.
  14. Yeah I think it's related to your upload speed. I can't use Shareplay even though my download speed is probably above average for the area.
  15. It's a good game and the core mechanics work really well but the story is way too long. It ran out of steam for me but I'll probably go back to it to finish when my interest returns.
  16. Xenoblade Chronicles (New 3DS) has arrived! Looking forward to it after what people who played the Wii version said.
  17. While I agree it's very useful, I'd be wary of Smart Panels. They clearly haven't spent much time on some of the older or lesser known comics and you'll occasionally get books that have text boxes with the ends chopped off or awesome full page art that smart panels between the text boxes without ever pulling back to show the full thing. But yeah when it's done right it makes the tablet/phone app work brilliantly.
  18. Black Panther is perhaps worse than Eternals. You could interchange the Panther with anyone and it wouldn't make a difference, the dialogue is awfully forced and suits none of the characters and they don't even mention Wakanda till half way through the run. Add that to the fact that I've never been a fan of his art (I'm thinking of getting a Kirby Face t-shirt printed), his plots are batshit insane and way too dialogue heavy and you get the first comics in the reading order I've skim read. And it's 3, 000 issues in... Oh not to mention Claremont (I think?) takes over near the end and it looks a hundred times better.
  19. Man Jack Kirbys return to Marvel in the late 70's is rough going. Eternals is bad, Black Panther is worse and there's Devil Dinosaur and Machine Man to come. Plus he's got a short run on Captain America ahead, but at least there'll be the rest of the team to rein him in hopefully.
  20. They are pretty much polar opposites in nearly every way
  21. I haven't done it but from the list it looks pretty straightforward. Most come from completing the game and the extra trophies you can get along the way without going out of your way too much.
  22. Hotwire mode in Hardline is awesome with friends, I just wish I could figure out how to fly the helicopters. Anyone know which settings closely reflect GTA controls?
  23. First impressions of the XV demo are not good. Have switched to Type O and gonna give that a try.
  24. My god this. Yeah that's one of those features that's really puzzling why it's not already in. Just started Apotheon and enjoying it so far. Although I'm a sucker for a game that visibly reflects your armour upgrades on your character.
