The Mask of Norro

To add on to my list of memories, I just remembered another show not mentioned by anyone thus far. 'The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo' The only episodes I remember off hand is the arson one and the one with the baby turtles. EDIT: OH! And that one show where the main character was a chick that could turn herself into liquid metal, that was a pretty cool show too.

Oh wow, I love this topic. All of these shows I grew up on, and seeing STick Stickly again damn near gave me a heart attack. One show I seem to be remembering in particular that I don't believe has been mentioned is Dude Ranch or whatever it was called. I remember one episode with the haunted bull skull, or whatever the hell that thing was. There were some interesting moments on that show. But Pete And pete, Salute Your Shorts, Clarrisa's World, wow...fuckin' awesome shows. Keenan and Kel was cool, but I'll always be partial to the older Nick shows. I mean dude, just...holy hell. I still remember the 'Are You Afraid Of The Dark' movie where they brought the leader from the original back. That was awesome, as the original cast of Are You Afraid of the Dark > all the others in my mind. That show was trippy, even the intro creeped me out. I was a LOTHT FREAK back when I was younger, I'd always root for the Blue Baracudas and the Silver Snakes, so any time they were in the final round it was pure awesomeness for me. What Would You Do? Was another cool one, as was that one game show with the obstacle course at the end. I remember the one with the ear and the ear wax, or the giant bubble gum machine. Nick Arcade was ownage but I didn't get to see it much, and Ahh! Real Monsters! was just a kickass cartoon. I still remember the one where they started eating the old western films, but when they watched them they mimicked the whole thing, lmao. Oh dude...this is like, a huge trip down memory lane for me. I LOVED these shows. Rocko's Modern Life was so friggin' cool, I loved the Chameleon brothers and the toads. And the whole deal with Heffer's family being wolves was great, or the time he fell in love with that deer or whatever it was. Wild And Crazy Kids...damn, I'd always wanted to be on that show. Never got into Ren and Stimpy when I was younger, didn't like it. Nowadays though I think it's pretty cool. Oh shit, anyone remember the ROUNDHOUSE?! Wasn't that was All That was spawned from?! That was like, the oldest Nick show I can remember. There was also one I VAGUELY remember...some out-of-space esque show. I know there was an episode with an electric storm going on, and another where these aliens invade the ship or something and one of the crew has to fight them or something. OH! And what was the name of that one show with the black kid who was really an alien, and only these two kids actually knew? I remember one huge episode the government or whatever actually got ahold of him and were experimenting on him, he was practically being tortured, and the girl came in to save him. And when he actually was crying in one episode and it was because he was on Earth for too long, and the emotions were actually growing on him. That show was fucking amazing, I LOVED that show. Character development was awesome, and the actors did an amazing job. I loved the idea that the alien could read an entire book just by placing his hand on the cover. As a matter of fact I think that was my favorite Nick show period. Wow...UP, I friggin' love you man. This topic has brought back SO many damn memories...

I made sure to look around and see if the topic had all ready been made, I didn't see it so I'm only guessing that it wasn't. However, if it was, then feel free to close this topic I suppose. So yes, just started listening to the CD today...I never really liked U2 that much, but that's because I've only heard their last CD before this one. Some friends of mine have recommended I listen to their past ones. After this CD, I just might do so. Thus far I'm really enjoying the CD, it's got some pretty good songs on it. As I type this I'm on Track 05 of 11, and I haven't found a song I haven't enjoyed yet really. The only song I've really had a problem with so far is Vertigo. I mean, it was an interesting song, but their 'One, Two, Three, Fourteen' intro in spanish confused the piss out of me. Either way though, it was a pretty good song; nothing that would ruin it for me. Just a small problem. So anyway, thoughts? Obviously non-U2 fans aren't going to like the CD, but I'm interested in U2 fans comments on this CD. Would you rank this as one of their better CDs? Worse? Any songs in particular that caught your interest in a good or bad way? I'm interested to heard what you all have to say So, with the hope that this topic hasn't been made before, I leave you with this to say; Discuss.

Nah. A pong match starts off where someone supplies the participants a stock. Then one person makes a graphic, the next person takes their graphic and makes a graphic out of it, and it goes on from there. Speaking of which--I'm opening up Photoshop now. Will have something ready tonight.

Nice entry, AJ. For my response I tried to take yours and make it seem more like a collage. As though someone took random pictures from a magazine and just pasted them together to come up with it. By tunnel scene she meant the movie, TMM. You know, when they're on the boat and go into the dark tunnel, and they start going fast as hell as Wonka's just talking and then starts yelling and there's images and shit flying by them. Best description I can come up with off the top of my head, anyway.

The Red Sox are just getting stomped into the ground at this point...it's sort of sad really. I hope if the Astros go through to the series we don't go down in the same way. While I won't mind if we lose, I'd atleast like to see us go down with a fight =P That's of course if we beat St. Louis, and I think that we've got a good chance of doing so.

It doesn't matter who wins, THE ASTROS ARE GONNA TAKE YOU ALL DOWN TOWN BABY!!! WOOOOOOOOO! Ahem. Sorry about that, I was born in Houston, so I've been an Astros fan for quite some time now. I'm actually pretty proud of them coming THIS far, if they manage to beat St. Louis and move on to the World Series for the first time ever in their team's history...I'll be UBER pleased with them. Win OR lose. Though it'd be nice if they won. Oh yes.
