The E-Fed I'm in had a PPV--Retribution--and I got bored and noticed the DVD cover craze sweeping the graphics forum and decided to try it out. Full Flat Version

You guys think I could jump in late and make this a three-way? I want to try this out. By the way--exactly how large is the image supposed to be again to make it 3D? I did it once and now I've forgotten.

Kempay's works better for this one. Doc's is much too dark and faded, and the logo is distorted badly. Kempay's is crisper, and while a wee bit graphic-intensive for a cover, it has a nice layout to it.

Tried left-siding the 'It's A' and right-siding the 'Success!' like you suggested...I think it came out nice, actually.

It'd be hard to get a 3D shot of Sonic and Mario fighting it out, hence why I have them standing there by the television. Plus, the background's supposed to be a hardwood wall, as that was the same background to the picture of the television, lol

Over at another forum I go to, they have monthly contests. This month's contest's rules were the following: I decided to do Nintendo Power Magazine. After mimicking their logo best as I could (They've got three styles to their logo--horizontal lines on the left, the right, or both. I'd chosen right), I then went about thinking what to put on the cover when it dawned on me. My favorite fighting game, Super Smash Brothers, was having yet another sequel released for it next year. The release date is sometime between June and November, so I figured August would be fine in having it on the cover. I came up with the idea of having an old television set playing the old game, and then went "Hmm...Nintendo owns Sonic the Hedgehog, and he's practically confirmed to be in the game. Nintendo and Sega had one of the biggest gaming rivalries going, with Mario and Sonic as their corporate mascots. Why not have the two most bitter of corporate rivals on the same cover?" So...Sonic and Mario are on the front. I honestly think I did a good job with this one, one of my favorite works yet. I based it off of this, in that it was the only game mentioned on the page. So without any further wait, here it is. Ratings/Comments/Criticism appreciated!

Morecello...a graphic can look professional even when someone isn't on that level. And someone who is can still put out a crappy graphic. What I was saying was, that they really did look professional, and that TNA probably liked them. Don't be an ass

Some shoddy font choices on a few of those there, but otherwise I'm impressed. Alot are pretty damn good, professional looking graphics. Nice work, though admittedly I'd love to see some larger graphics as well.

So yeah, I did a graphic for my e-fed/story character, Dominic Pericolo. In e-feds, his picture base is Steve Borden (Sting without facepaint). Right now, I'm working this idea out for my RPs where each RP reads like the chapter to a story...sorta telling my characters story through each one. The story I'm planning to make for Dominic is called "Everyone Loves the Hero"...hence the phrase used. As far as the graphic...tried to keep things a little bit simple. Hope it came out well So, without further adeiu: Comments/Criticism/Ratings/etc?

If you can't work with transparency, just do a non-transparent sig. If you can, do a transparent one. Not like there's an advantage with either...a shitty transparency doesn't > a good non-transparency

Not the worst I've seen either, but definitely one of the worst I've seen Doc do. Shoddy blending makes some parts to the background pictures blurred far too much, the main cut is shoddy and God Doc, why the blur on the main cut? It's horrible Font choice is an improvement from a few of your past graphics, but it's still not the best font choice you could have made.

Hmmm...I'm running Photoshop 6.0, where's the color profile at in preferences? I can't seem to find it I've never actually messed around with anything in Photoshop's preferences, so I'm a wee bit unsure of what to do here, lol

Alright...I've noticed a problem with my Photoshop recently, and it really doesn't make any sense. I'll make a graphic in it, or open a picture in it, and everything's darker then it should be. Not like, REALLY dark...just darker then normaly. If I copy it and paste it into paint it's back to how it was, but in Photoshop everything opens darker then it really is. This becomes a pain trying to make graphics now because yeah, everything's too dark =\ What's going on? How can I fix it? (I've reinstalled...still nothing x_o)
