Alright, so after toying with several ideas for a new DVD/Game cover, I decided to stick with Shaun of the Dead--a great, hilarious movie (My opinion, of course ). So I found the original DVD cover scanned over at the DVD cover dommunity I'm a part of, Generetic, and took the basic stuff I'd need from it. Keeping it for reference, I then got to work...and hours upon hours of work later, finished. Herein lies the result, of course...and I hope it turned out as good as I believe it did. I'm really proud of this one...I think I'm well on my way to mastering this particular branch of graphic designs ^_^ So yes, comments/criticism/ratings are perfectly accepted and welcomed. I have no clue what that whole fiasco was over in the 8th inning...I mean, I know he didn't go full-swing, but the damn fall was barely an inch over the bat when he half-swung. That was a strike, I can see it being questionable but that was a friggin' strike. I mean, what the hell would you call it had the ball curved that one inch down and he hit it? A bunt? The umpire made the right call as far as I could see, so don't know why they had to do the play over. Either way though, I can understand why Edmonds would be pissed and argue the call. EDIT: 'STROS WIN AGAIN BABY, DOUBLE PLAY!!! WOOOOOHOOO!! ^_^

Really, these are four very close teams in skill. Saying Angels don't have an offense is like saying White Sox's defense must be shitty then to find a challenge in them. I'm sticking to my original call for the Series--Angels and 'Stros. Personally, I think the call that umpire made was bullshit against the Angels...but what can you do? We've got an 18-inning pre-championship game between the 'Stros and the Braves going down in history, and we've got one of the most controversial calls made by an umpire in recent time going down in history. The race the the World Series is very interesting this year.

And THERE IT WAS! Astros take it home baby! Way to go team! Three games at home now, we've got a much better chance at winning the World Series now then we did last year, that's for sure. GO STROS GO!

I want my 'Stros to win, but there's no denying that that was a beautiful catch...loved that play.

Damn this is nerve-wracking...we've still got a ways to go in this game and are up by two, I'll be happy if we can just keep it that wa--oh God damn it Molina hit a double. Come on, don't let these guys score now! >_<

All of which are on the butterfly's wings I was aiming for some contrast using fall colors. Brown/black on the images used for the background for the ground/soil since the grass is dying, orange/yellow/red standing out on the butterfly as sort-of 'beauty amongst the dying'. The background behind the graphic and calender is just a bunch of leaves though

Honestly, I'm reaaaaally going to chance it here and call Astros in 5 games. It's doubtful, but damn I'd be happy if it happened. Angels in 6, I really can't see them losing this one for some reason. Astros-Angels in the series...I'm calling it, and hoping for it

Which was just fucking incredible to watch. I'd love to have been in that stadium during the game...I just hope my half-brother was, he usually makes it to 'Stros games. Hol-ee shit, WHAT a game. Glad my Astro boys are going through again, maybe this year we'll actually make it to the World Series Seriously, haven't been that into a baseball game in a long-ass time, just a great way to end it. 18 innings...those guys pretty much played two damn games in one day out there without hardly stopping. Just incredible.

I'm tempted to change the front, yeah. It's just hard to come up with something for that, especially considering the original cover implemented so many people... If I can nab a good sized screenshot though I'll see what I can do

Not if you have a good eye for covers, then you'd see it's shit with a lack of effort. Less is more is a good practice, but you screwed it up bad. Black background, two cuts, shoddy text placement, off-center logo...horrible, horrible DVD cover.

Picked up the CD yesterday, and I absolutely love it. Every track on the CD appeals to me, and I can't find a single part to any song that I don't like--much less a single song I don't like. Disturbed's done it once again for me, as this is their third CD that hasn't had a single song on it I didn't like. The Sickness was greatness, Believe was something fresh and new, and now Ten Thousand Fists has the power and drive behind it that both of the past CDs had combined. This CD is DEFINATELY not a dissapointment for me--far from it, it appears that Disturbed have gone above and beyond what I expected. I recommend anyone who's enjoyed their music to purchase it, it's well worth the money.

I'm cool with it man, no worries.
