  2. Yeah I didn't think it was as bad as it's being made out. Soft? Yeah but its a tactical foul on a break and could lead to a yellow. Thought VAR been used sensibly today even if a bit lengthy. This team is starting to get the feel of when we were challenging for the league and when we won it. Picking up points when we may not necessarily have played well and that's the sort of thing you need. Doesn't have to be prettt and eye pleasing but the team doesn't give in and can find a way Also anything that makes Roy angry is something worthwhile.
  3. Yous must have been shit if Everton are beating you at Goodison 3-0 Things are starting to click under Dyche now. Just need an actual striker that can finish
  4. Cannot wait for the new manager bounce on wednesday....
  5. The only thing I can think of is that Hooper for some reason cannot see Grealish and just sees three Spurs players. But then why would Haaland kick the ball to that area after getting back to his feet. Its a stinker for me.
  6. Should let Garth Crooks do it. He'll spout some nonsense not related to the match then predict a 0-0
  7. Man City 1-1 Liverpool (Sat 12.30pm, Sky) Luton 0-1 Crystal Palace (Sat 3pm) Newcastle 1-1 Chelsea (Sat 3pm) Brentford 0-2 Arsenal (Sat 5.30pm, TNT) Tottenham 2-2 Aston Villa (Sun 2pm, Sky)
  8. I saw a point which I thought was quite decent really in that although PIF own a few of the Saudi league teams and Newcastle, why would they splash money on people to bring them to the Saudi League to then just loan them out when they're trying to boost their own country and leagues profile. Especially when the season runs alongside the european leagues.
  9. Think it just screams more and more that the Prem arent fit to make these sort of decisions and there needs to be an independent body. The charges against City only came about when there was talk about an independent body. The Everton decision came about when it felt like there was a bit more pressure.
  10. Leaked emails from the UK ambassador say the Premier League agreed to "settle their differences" with the PIF so that the Newcastle deal could go ahead Publically, both the Prem and UK government had said no pressure was put on the Prem by the government to accept this deal, and that the UK government had no role in the deal FOI requests by the Athletic have shown that the Government had discussions with the Prem throughout including teams meetings with the foreign office and Prem, that the Foreign Office had communication plans in place as far back as June 2020 for a deal to have been both accepted and rejected, and Foreign Office officials had discussed the idea of sportswashing and how it could instead show off Saudi progress with Womens Sport through this takeover The FOI request was delayed to assess how releasing these documents could harm Saudi-UK relations - as such, much has been redacted to "protect commercial interests" and "safeguard national security" Senior premier league sources reiterated under anonymity that there was no pressure from the Government to force this deal, and that it was approved solely by the Prem board The Foreign Office had preprepared questions that would likely be asked of the government regarding the takeover such as human rights questions and questions about Jamal Khashoggi
  11. Don't even care. Won't affect them going down anyway cause Luton/Sheff Utd and Burnley are all crap. Still, funny how it happens to Everton yet City will get away with everything cause of who own them and the money they have.
  12. Worst thing that show highlights is the officials all have shite nicknames for one another
  13. Crystal Palace 0 vs. 0 Everton (Sat 3pm) Bournemouth 0 vs. 2 Newcastle (Sat 5.30pm, Sky) West Ham 2 vs. 0 Nottm Forest (Sun 2pm, Sky) Chelsea 0 vs. 2 Man City (Sun 4.30pm, Sky
  14. Apparently in UEFA it doesn't really matter what phase of play it is (bit silly for me that) but everything else for me doesn't make it a handball. Its hit his chest and has gone towards the armpit area and he's tried to move his arm away from the ball and not to it. The whole VAR handling of it was a bit bizarre cause it looked like they'd done the check, ref was going to give the goal and then they've gone actually have a look at the screen. Toulouse deserved the win either way and we were awful. Had the chance to seal qualification and we didn't take it. Just annoying that there's another controversial decision.
  15. VA FUCKING SHITE (We deserved nothing out of that as we were garbage but that decision at the end is ridiculous. Even if you want to say he's handballed it, its a new phase of play. We gave it away shortly after that, won it back then scored)
  16. Lutons statement they put out about the tragedy chanting is so laughably poor and whataboutery. "May have taken part without knowledge that the chant is in relation to Hillsborough and Heysel tragedies". "A small number of supporters." "Chants that may be interpreted" Tinpot club. Just own it and condemn it, it isn't hard.
  17. Getting de ja vu here. Just need Chelsea to concede an own goal and have a perfectly goos goal ruled out...
  18. I mean objectively Udogie's was worse even without any contact
  19. Tackling training is required for these Spurs players. Dirty gits
