  1. The Panthers were given a first down on 3rd and 1 that I’m not sure they converted, but they never reviewed it and simply allowed Cam to spike it. Not sure how much it mattered since they got no extra yards and Gano’s FG would’ve been good from 70+.....but the officiating in this game was a fucking disgrace.
  2. Fire Gettleman and Shurmur. Burn this team to the fucking ground and start over.
  3. Landon Collins flagged 15 yards for helmet to helmet contact when he was playing the ball. Roger Goodell has completely and utterly ruined this league.
  4. My school is 5-0 with wins over Dean, Plymouth State, Salve Regina, Mass-Dartmouth, and Worcester State. They’re normally bad so I’ll take it. Best start for them since 2001. Also, their fullback.
  5. I’m still holding out. Fire Pro is suiting me just fine. While this sounds promising right now, I’d be interested to see how active this thread is around Thanksgiving/Christmas to see if it actually has replayability beyond a week or two.
  6. UFC is 95% of the way to being WWE at this point. All that was missing was Dana White frantically calling the locker room out to separate everyone.
  7. Who the fuck let this happen?
  8. And just like that, Price failed to get through 2 innings. What an overpaid hack. Hilarious that Boston is going to be stuck with him when he opts in.
  9. Last night was a must-win for Boston since Price against the Yankees is a guaranteed loss.
  10. Nick Saban has criticized the low attendance from Bama fans so far this year. Yeah, rip the fans for not wanting to pay to watch you roll over cupcake teams.
  11. Yankees in 5 Astros in 4 Brewers in 4 Dodgers in 3 Yankees in 6 Dodgers in 7 Yankees in 7 Yankees follow up the World Series win by signing Bryce Harper and Dallas Keuchel.
  12. Watching newLEGACYinc do a twitch stream of the midnight release. Two minutes into the first match and the game is already glitching.
  13. Luke Voit has been one hell of a story. There isn't a doubt in my mind that if the Mets had traded for him for some reason, he'd have hit like .230 with 4 home runs. Some teams just have losing in their DNA.
  14. Boston reporter: playoffs are ruined if Cubs and Yankees are both eliminated
  15. Yanks will be fine tonight. The lineup is lethal, they have the clear pitching advantage and the A’s only have one scary hitter in their lineup.
  16. The one-game playoff is basically an immediate Game 7. Even in a well-played seven game series, I still will feel a level of sympathy for the team that lost. The set up may not be perfect, but I do appreciate the importance it places on winning your division. Want to guarantee yourself a series? Win the division. I've heard proposals to send division champions to the one-game playoff if their records are worse than the Wild Card team, and I just can't get behind that much like how I'm against proposals to put NFL division winners in the 5th or 6th seed if their record is worse than the Wild Card. Win your division if you want a home game. If divisions are in place, there should be incentives to win them even if your playoff spot is secure. Now, if they can just straight up eliminate divisions and have two 15-team leagues with the top four teams getting in, I'd be all for that. But I don't see divisions ever getting abolished.
  17. Being in favor of two Wild Cards =/= sucky feeling when your team loses that game Would prefer if they could do a college style approach where the #4 seed has to win one game but the #5 seed has to win two, but it is what it is.
  18. I can sympathize with Cubs fans today. Playing 162 games only to lose the Wild Card game is just such a crappy feeling. I feel bad for the fans as well as Bryant, Rizzo, and some other guys on that team who are fun to watch. I can’t say I feel bad for homophobic Murphy, though.
  19. Rockies have no business winning this game. Pulling Freeland was dumb, subbing out Blackmon was dumb, and having guys like Story and Dahl going up there and taking first pitch hacks against Hamels who they’ve never faced before is dumb.
  20. What on earth is the point of replay if this doesn't get overturned?
  21. I credit Romo for not being tempted out of retirement last year. With all the injuries that happened in the league, I'm certain he was still getting offers well into the season - especially from the Texans once Deshaun got hurt. Yeah all of these broadcasters have provisions to allow them to leave for playing or coaching gigs and CBS would've welcomed him back with open arms a year later, but he listened to his body which was telling him enough was enough.
  22. Only a year after winning AL Manager of the Year, the Twins have fired Paul Molitor.
