  1. My god that was an awesome finish. Great comeback for Kongo.
  2. Again, if he wants to fire people because he "fucking wants to" then he would've done it to Nik Lentz in August considering how pissed off he was for tanking the ratings. But I see that this will never get through to you, so that's the last thing I'll say on it.
  3. He won, he cannot be fired. The only way you'd see a fighter coming off a win get fired is if he was in breach of contract. Matt Brown is not in a breach of contract, so no, he won't and cannot be fired.
  4. You cannot get cut if you win, otherwise Nick Lentz wouldn't been fired last August when he had that awful fight on Spike against Andre Winner.
  5. He was fired. From Meltzer: The unanswered questions keep going. Dana White just announced that Nate Marquardt was no longer with the UFC. It was a short message where White said that Marquardt had failed his medicals and is not only off the show, but out of the UFC, without giving any explanation.
  6. Well the actually prelims start in 30 minutes, so if they said they will air, then you'll get them then.
  7. True Grit was a really good movie.
  8. G4 is in a lot less homes than Spike, and barely over half even know it exists apparently. I found this information on it: Spike is in 99 million homes and G4 is in 53 million homes and according to then-Comcast President Ted Harbert "just 53% of homes who receive the channel know it exist."

Assy is a changed man. He is medicated so he is a good man now!

  10. Breaking Bad is such a great show. I don't know why it took me this long to watch it, but I really like it. I am only three episodes into the first season right now and will be watching the fourth one tonight. Also, is there really a point in me watching Parks and Recreation season one? If I end up skipping this god-awful boring episodes, will I not get some things by just jumping to season two? Then again, I will probably end up finishing off the first season anyways for completeness sake, but man, this 20-minute show feels like such a choir to watch and I've only seen two over a couple of days. It will just probably take me a few weeks at this pace.
  11. I think that if they sign Melendez to the same contract that Diaz is on in the near future like they are working on currently, then he'll get first shot against the Edgar/Maynard winner and then they'll maybe match up Guida with the winner of Miller/Henderson to determine the next challenger after that.
  12. The Ultimate Fighter 14 coaches are officially Michael Bisping and Jason Miller.
  13. Well, not really. His version was that he was in a scene where he was just walking in the background of a scene involving Courteney Cox.
  14. He has played many times with me, though.
  15. Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software worked with the remainder of the Infinity Ward people.
  16. The final two episodes of Chicago Code were what the entire season need to be about. They were both really good. When they focused more on Gibbons instead of the story of the week (which were mostly not that interesting and just made it seem like your standard police procedural), it was really good. I also liked Jarek finding out more about his brother's undercover cop work.
  17. If you go to the cases menu on the main menu, then go to the traffic desk, there is an option there to do free roam. I am not sure if you have your partner around for that, though, since I have yet to try it out. This way you don't have to worry about the main story being there to play.
  18. Why did you have to remind us about Stella?!
  19. So today was the hearing for Sonnen. The CSAC ruled 4-1 to uphold the suspension. So he will not be coaching Ultimate Fighter against Bisping. Sonnen was apparently trying to get sympathy saying that White told him if he doesn't get cleared that it will be the end of his career and he'll be forced to retire. Meltzer says the suspension will be until his license expires which is on June 29 and goes on to say that he can reapply in any state he wants after that, but they will most likely look to CSAC for a decision on that if they want to renew it or not. So in a little over a month we'll see if his career is truly over as he claims it would be. Edit: MMAJunkie says it is June 29, 2012, so make that a year and a month.
  20. Can we expect to see these types of scenes on it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVaue9tEd0A&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsOwEhJGYX8&feature=related
  21. Fox is also making a Napoleon Dynamite cartoon. This'll get canceled quickly, I am sure.
  22. And it is moving to Fridays at 8pm.
