I can understand Srar's point of throwing a bone to the beleaguered parent who has to sit through the terrible, terrible kid's flick. But that problem can be solved by actually making your kids movie... Good. Not just it's 'for kids so it's okay if it's stupid with some references for the parents and lots of look how well we can animate these GGI chipmunks and puns and pop songs for the kids'.

Personally, I think it is hilarious the way he said that line that was also in that other movie. I am a grown-up; ergo, an animated chipmunk saying "You talkin' to me?" is the height of hilarity.
