Before/after my job interview. Probably after. Doubt it'd look good, taking it into a potential future workplace. Also, I'm leaving my PS3 on overnight this time. Even if I end up not playing on it before the time expires, I WILL get that fucking patch.

...fuck that, I finally got the MGS download to work. It's at 5% and 45kb. In the meantime, I'll continue frantically searching for a copy of GTA.

Yep, never had problems with anything else before this.

Trying to get the 1.0.1 patch (I know, but you need it for 1.0.2), and when I try and download it direct from the server, there's always a server error a few percent in, and when I try P2P it only ever picks up a marginal download rate. I'm trying to leave the P2P on for a while, but it hasn't worked so far. About 30 minutes in, and it's still only around 0.2KB.

I cannot for the fucking life of me get the patch to download properly. If I redownloaded the game itself, would it come with the latest patch already done?

Defence was shockingly decent, midfield was average at best, Martins should never have been subbed when he was, Owen was immense. Overall, we profited from a poor Sunderland lineup, which I have no complaints whatsoever about. 4-5-1 was a mistake by Keane. Chopra, Richardson and possibly Leadbitter, since he's a local lad and knows what this match means, should have started, but at the end of the day, three points against Sunderland = excuse to drink/excuse to skive school and definite safety.

A Newcastle fan can confirm this, but is Geremi actually any good at set-pieces? I remember back when Big Sam was in charge some commentators were saying how unimpressive Geremi had been taking corners/FK's etc, yet Sam still stuck with him to take them all. It seems he does the same now Keegan is in charge, and from what I've seen so far, it looks pretty much the same as far as his quality, or lack thereof from set-pieces goes. As a passionate Newcastle fan since I could walk, Geremi is fucking wank. He's good at what he does well, which is tackle and clear the ball. He's not suited to playing a right midfield position as he has done since Keegan came in, and when Allardyce was there as far as my Magners-polluted mind can confirm. He just doesn't have the balls to get an incisive cross in. Other than that, he's a good enough player. That said, I'd much rather he switched places with Habib Beye, because Beye is at least capable of hitting in a decent fucking ball when he gets in the right position, and has the balls to do so every time.
