Been working my way through The Sopranos again after getting the huge box set for Christmas this past year. It's been sitting in my game room unopened. Still as enthralling to watch later. Though its pretty crazy knowing whats going to happen from the start. Love this show. Starting up Maniac starring Elijah Wood, i've hear good things. I saw the first one when I was younger and just remember the shotgun headshot scene. Fuckin' hell.

Same here. The first season truly was amazing but this season had gotten a bit overly dramatic. So much shit has gone down its hard to remember what the point is sometimes. They just jump from plotpoint to plotpoint.

I seriously hope this isn't true. There are plenty of shows out there that get lower ratings and aren't half as entertaining. Please don't let it get cancelled. One more season and they will have enough for syndication, then maybe it will gain enough fans to pull an Arrested Development and have a movie.

I believe its neither. The acting is on par with the writing, both are pretty amazing for the show. Fact is, Robb is doing the same shit Ned would have done had the roles been reversed. Plenty of the ideas are stupid but he's doing what he considers to be the honorable way to go about it. While I do agree that plenty of things have been changed around from the book, most have stayed true enough to keep TV viewers interested. Just imagine Dany having the actual story from COK last season. How many chapters did she have in that book again? 5? Her screen time would have been even more non-existent than it already is. Robb's marriage is probably the best example because, as you said, in the books it made him sympathetic but on the show it really does come across like he just does NOT give a fuck what the Frey's will think about it. "I'm their king, they will get over it. I'll throw 'em a bone and give 'em my uncle instead." As a long-time book-fan some changes have bothered me a bit while others are totally understandable. You can't fit in everything from the books, let alone keep the same stuff and trim it to fit in 10 episodes. Robb's story had to be changed or he wouldn't have much screen time at all. I don't mind it as I believe the books and the TV show are going to have their own canon. Plus, I like to be surprised now and then. I can't wait to see these boards by the end of the season. Gonna be so fun to watch, lol.

His wife is the worst. Kavanaugh is one of the best villains ever, imo. Forrest Whitaker did a ridiculously good job.

For the most part, it stays true to the books. Some aspects are changed to better suit it for a TV format, such as combining characters and/or leaving some out entirely. Major story arcs aren't usually changed, but Dany's story from last season really had to be changed or it would have been boring on TV.

IMO The Shield should be watched before The Wire. The Wire, though great, takes a much longer time to get into. I watched a couple episodes before I started really digging it and there are some low points that were a struggle to get through. Takes a while to care about the characters. The Shield is the polar opposite of this as I was hooked after the very first episode. Great writing. I can't imagine having to watch it live week to week. I also suggest watching Oz. Ignore all of the comments on gay sex and the like, its one of the greatest dramas you can watch and, like Game of Thrones, you never know who is going to die next. No such thing as safe.

I really think they should have ended the episode with Littlefingers speech and Sansa's reaction instead of Snow/Ygritte on the wall kissing. It made for a great visual but it just wasn't nearly as impactful as that speech. Seriously gave me chills. Aiden Gillen deserves an award for that performance.

I enjoyed it at first but I find Hannibal a little slow. Very gruesome and the cast is excellent, especially mads. I am jealous you get to see this brand new. Some shows i really miss that feeling of not knowing what next. This is one of them, along with Oz, The Shield, The Sopranos and Breaking Bad. The Wire has excellent writing and an excellent cast. Been looking for a new show start watching either on Netflix our hulu. Any suggestions?

Went to a q&a/screening of Jay and Silent Bob's Super Groovy Cartoon Movie. You will love it if you are a fan of the View Askewniverse movies. The q&a was hilarious, Kevin Smith can talk about anything and be entertaining.

Great, great, great, great episode tonight. Jaime killed it tonight and it was everything I hoped for when I read the book. Even my non-book reading girlfriend is beginning to doubt Robb. The scene with Dany was great as well. Fuckin' a. This season has been amazing so far, I haven't been disappointed once. The song during the credits was really powerful as well. I'm loving the song every episode as opposed to the slow, subtle version of the opening song.

Mil makes some of the best wrestling posters i've seen. He should seriously consider contacting independent promotions because I've seen some god awful show posters. lol. Just going to put this here instead of making an entirely new thread. Lol I need a WWE Survivor Series PPV poster. The main event is a title unification bout between Ziggler & Cena. Date is November 24th. I know you can do some pretty awesome stuff so do whatever you want. I trust you.

I didn't want to give away what happened when it cut out but I do feel the need to elaborate now. I thought something was wrong with my TV because the song didn't start playing over the credits. Instead it started playing when the knife was held to Jamie's eye and continued to play through him getting his hand cut off and then the credits rolled. You could see them talking while the music was playing but couldn't hear anything, only the music. I was buzzed but I wasn't so drunk I imagined things, haha. Something was up with the HBO Go version, but its apparently fixed now. Read online the a good portion of the torrents out there will have the same problem I had.

I can't be the only one who thought there was something wrong with their TV at the end of tonights episode. Seriously haven't fucked with my TV that much thanks to a show since The Sopranos finale. Awesome episode tonight, gonna have to watch it again tomorrow thanks to my friend Jack Daniels though.

First should be approximately the same size as my current diary sig but be labeled: WWE 2013 Back to Basics A Plague Diary Have CM Punk in the center with Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler next to him. If possible have it just be their faces. In the background can you have John Cena but make him kind of fading into the background. To signify he is fading away. Might be hard to understand but no big deal if its just the three guys I mentioned. Also RAW and Saturday Morning Slam banners. Both pretty simple and I will let you do what you will with them.
