I've been trying to figure out my scouting strategy, and with my Raiders franchise I am now saving all of my points for the end of the season because it's easier to allocate them in bulk it would seem, and my needs change during the season. Revealing development stats is a good tip though, because that is definitely very important to their value over future seasons.

I'm working on a Raiders franchise right now too. I've gone through Schaub in the first weeks until he was throwing INTs like crazy, to Carr who got injured in his third start, to Schaub who got injured in the next game, to McGloin who lasted me four weeks before getting injured, to Carr who is now my starter. Quite a whirlwind at the QB position, but I love the receiving corps. Jones is a solid possession guy. Moore is great for speed. Streater is a great slot receiver, and having Little come in and out as my fourth is just unstoppable. MJD is either hit or miss, but I think that has to do more with my O-Line which has had a few injuries as well. Their defense is solid and usually backs me up very well (I SuperSim the defense). If I could suggest anything to you, throw McFadden into the fullback slot in a few packages and you can do some interesting stuff with him. He has great acceleration to get out of the backfield very quickly. Just reached the playoffs going 12-4 in the first season on All-Madden. Got Carr to about an 83 OVR now, and have my first playoff game against the Patriots. A little worried because we didn't play well at all against Denver in Week 17. If Carr is cold, he's cold. And if I don't have a productive running game, the offense is usually dead in the water. My only real complaint about this game is that the receivers barely have a chance on anything long. You have to seam it perfectly leading the pass on, or it's batted down or intercepted. Not to say that's completely unrealistic, but I feel as though receiver's never, ever have a chance to just jump up and grab the ball like real life. As soon as the ball arrives within the secondary's radius, they immediately have the awareness and ability to just jump and turn around to make the interception, even though in real life the receiver is usually the one going for the grab even if it's a lobbed pass. Other than that, I love it on PS3. Played on Xbox One at my buddy's place and honestly think it's ten-times worse. The graphics and presentation are better, but the way it plays is pretty brutal. Also, in my first franchise with the Browns, I got Manziel to like a 93 OVR by the end of the season, and broke the NFL passing touchdown record with 8 total touchdown passes (although that was on All-Pro while I was getting the hang of things). Will probably end up doing a Browns franchise again on All-Madden with some better sliders to give myself a challenge, but might stick with this Raiders one for awhile, then maybe do a Jaguars or Lions franchise. A little ticked off with how fast these guys progress though. Might have to give myself some in-house limitations on improving players, especially quarterbacks and their accuracy ratings. EDIT: @Toe: I LOL'd at your Charlie Whitehurst post because I had the exact same thing happen to me in my Browns franchise on All-Pro. He literally tore apart my secondary and I was baffled because he is like a 68 OVR.

I feel as though any Browns fan should know this kind of win well. The kind of win where we upset the heavy favorite by a margin less than a touchdown, although usually not thanks to a final offensive possession to capture the victory. Good win, but the pessimistic side of me says this doesn't amount to anything. The Browns will continue to stumble against teams more on their par.

iDOL have you been to http://boards.sportslogos.net ? Best sports logos/uniform forum on the net. Very talent work there. I highly suggest joining and working on some of your stuff there. It is a great resource. I have always wanted to master Illustrator for the sports logos reason myself, I also have a fascination and admiration for them. Perhaps this will inspire me to get over that vicious Adobe learning curve! Mascot (ex. Bears, Spirits, etc): Suh Girls, One Cup Team Colors: Lions colors? Design Notes: For my fantasy league. Very important to get the correct shades of color.

Hello EWBers! I used to have Photoshop, but having gotten a new computer, don't have access to it anymore, and as a result, can't do all the things I would do myself! That's why I'm turning to all of you! I have an idea for a new diary based on a new promotion. The setting is 1997, and it's a promotion set in the West Coast/California called Westside Wrestling Syndicate. Basically I'm looking for something that would kind of fit that timeframe with a hardcore, rapper/ghetto look to it. Emphasis either on the Westside or the Syndicate aspect of it. A three-letter abbreviation isn't absolutely necessary since I don't plan on referring to it as WWS too often. I'm also looking for it in .png form so I can have a transparent background. Hopefully you guys can come up with something cool! Thanks to anyone who attempts!

I was thinking about going all the way through th years at big moments. Not too hard to make changes, don't really have to add many workers. Just adjust stats and make sure gimmicks and dispositions are correct. Next stop would be immediately after the Montrael Screwjob which is half a year away.

I'll have to check if I've added him but he has been pretty difficult to figure out since he was working a lot of indies around this time. I know he's triple promotion booked right now but may have to drop one to add WWF. Also this is pretty much finished. I was going to wait for iDOL to do a complete picture pack with all the workers I've added much I'm going to go ahead and release this perhaps tomorrow. He did provide us with a wonderful skin and logos though, and everyone can use his August 1996 picture pack he did in the other thread. I would make them but do not have Photoshop on my new computer. Other than that I've beta tested this bad boy pretty good and have to say it's fuckin legit, plain and simple. Excited for you guys to enjoy! Also if anyone is interested in doing the picture pack let me know it's pretty simple just a bit tedious, but well worth it!

How about if people think that Brock Lesnar deserves the "Unique" gimmick, than they give it to him before they start a new game or use Arsenic to give it to him? Seems like a much simpler solution to many of these problems. Just have a list of workers with "controversial gimmicks" that people debate.
