I’m enjoying it so far, although was a little disappointed at the sudden stop of the mystery aspect but I guess it is only natural in a show like this so they can build some flesh on the bones of the characters. Really intrigued to see where it goes.

Lingard is surely nailed on for an MLS transfer?

Haven’t played in a while, did a season with Arsenal and came third whilst winning the Europa League. Went fairly big in the transfer market, mainly signing players we’ve been linked with in real-life. Got rid of Xhaka, Tierney and Nketiah (the latter went to Liverpool for £64m!!). Brought in Ivan Fresneda, Declan Rice, Moises Caicedo, Marc Guehi and Ivan Toney. Squad is looking ridiculously good now.

This Declan Rice story is going to drag and drag isn’t it? Ornstein put out a report yesterday that Arteta has no intention of selling Smith Rowe, which I am very happy about. I do wonder if he spent the second half of the season really protecting him before fully integrating him back into the side for pre-season.

Re Succession:

Ending solidified Succession as a top, top tier TV show for me. So, so good from beginning until the very end.

I rewatched the whole scene in the church - and it really is phenomenal all-round.

Has there been any concrete info on the final roster? And/or what the career mode is and how it works?

I am so bummed that it ends next week. It’s top tier television, and the cast is one of the best I can remember. Sensational performances from everybody involved. Spoiler from last nights episode:

We started watching Silo on Apple TV last night, watched all three episodes that are available - and boy, I love it. The whole vibe of the show is great, I love the mystery of it, haven’t had a show like this to dig into in what feels like forever. I have high hopes for the remainder of the season, hope I’m not disappointed. Apple have been making some top quality TV over the past few years.

Weren’t tired finishers supposed to be part of the game upon release?

Whatever happens now, cannot be prouder of this group of players. They have exceeded expectations by some distance this season. It’s a group of young, hungry players and they will only get better. Sprinkle in some added experience in the summer (Rice hopefully), and we can challenge again next season. They have given Arsenal fans hope again and also a squad to be proud of who are all pulling in the same direction. It’s a good time to be an Arsenal fan.

Someone check on Jimmy. If Chelsea give him time, he could be a really, really good appointment to be fair.

Succession, man. This week’s episode spoilers:

Yeah, Chelsea are going to have a lot of trouble offloading players this summer. Too many are on huge salaries and teams won’t want to pay a big fee plus salary. Wouldn’t surprise me if they ended up having to pay players to leave like we did a few years ago.

Leeds are reportedly considering Gracia’s position.

I am going to be so upset when Succession ends. It’s very top drawer television.

Brighton have seemingly agreed to sign Joao Pedro from Watford in the summer for a club-record fee. Whilst he hasn’t set the world alight in terms of goals, I think he’s a really shrewd signing for them and will fit in perfectly with the way they play.
