  1. Kaney was keen! Earlier the better for me
  2. I could play this evening around 7/7:30 ish?
  3. I'm away for the weekend but keen next week! Being the best goalscorer in Dragons history was too easy, got my eyes on the Overlap assists record now.
  4. If you're still going, I can go to a strict few games
  5. oooh what's the backstory and go on just admit you missed me
  6. I am available for selection from next week.
  7. Haha just checked our line up from that day and Nuno did it with a back 4 of Tanganga, Sanchez, Dier and Reguilon.
  8. Took Arteta nearly 4 years to do what the great Nuno did in his first game at Spurs.
  9. Theo Walcott is an awful pundit - Sky's desire to be more like TalkSport has made their coverage terrible this year.
  10. Our turn to have a player correctly sent off for two yellow cards.
  11. I do think that if the top job (refereeing at the Prem) was a more lucrative career, you'd see some sort of knock-on effect, but ultimately I agree with you. Obviously, I'd also improve the pipeline, too.
  12. Pay referees more and make it a more attractive job. The standard of officiating has been poor this year, and yesterdays fuck up was particularly outrageous, but as VAR and referees continue to have more impact on the product the Premier League puts out, they should be paid accordingly and we might see the standard increase. Even if the offside had stood, the ref (who doesn’t make the offside decision) is still getting slaughtered online, and by Klopp, for giving two correct red cards. It’s not an enviable position in my opinion.
  13. We’re owed about 5 more dodgy decision for the Champions League final alone tbh.
  14. Lol the PGMOL have apologised cos Diaz’s goal should’ve stood.
  15. Could’ve easily been booked for the foul before that, which I thought he got away with cos you were down to 10. I’d want to see an explanation of the offside, cos it looked on, otherwise thought the ref got the reds both right? Just a reflection on some injuries & the fact we’re at the start of a project. I think what everyone seems to be forgetting, is other than 4 months under Conte, the football has been miserable for 4 years. Ange has walked in, got us playing some good stuff, the vibes are great, we’re all aware we’re ahead of schedule and there’s gonna be some stumbling blocks. But like, it’s proper fun to support spurs again & if it looks like fans and players are getting carried away, fuck it, footballs apparently meant to be fun, we’ll enjoy it while its good.
  16. (Sorry to the more reasonable Liverpool fans)
  17. Was coming in here to compliment Liverpool and say they were brilliant and that ultimately I think that was underserved. But now I just wanna say that was very, very funny and I cannot wait for those Klopp tears.
  18. Obvs not his intention, but that has to be a red. Finding the sky coverage of it mental.
  19. I know it's mostly about age here, but the fact Cole Palmer (a forward with no league goals) has gone for 40 mil and Muani's gone for 90 (1 in 9 for France, one good year in the Bundisliga) makes Kane look like incredible value for money.
  20. I hate that I get so caught up in deadline day that I'm desperate for this to go through. I do actually want him, because Ange supposedly really wants him, but half of the Kane money on Brennan Johnson is just a bit sad tbh. We're also linked with a move for Connor Gallagher today which I just cannot see happening at all.
  21. Double Indemnity is part of the Film Noir genre, it's my favourite of that era, but there's a bunch of other great movies if you like this style. You've already see The Third Man, but I'd recommend Out of the Past, Gilda, The Lady of Shanghai and Force of Evil if you're looking for me. Touch of Evil is also incredible, other than Heston's casting as a Mexican. Edward G. Robinson (who plays Keys) is one of my favourite actors of that era. If you want to see more of him, I'd recommend Key Largo (he plays the villain opposite Boggart and Bacall), Little Caesar and The Stranger.
  22. Fucking love Dele. Find his strength inspiring and hope that he continues to get the love and support he needs to lead the life he wants. That man has given me countless good memories and I am livid that our club failed him, the All or Nothing doc was a failure of care.
