  1. Why would you rent or buy a movie on Blu Ray when you walked out on it when it was in theatres?
  2. Guaranteed way to make me your Valentine on the 14th: give me a hammer with the word "Greg" on it. Add the phrase "I Broke Wahoo's Heart" and you'll have an all-access pass to whatever the hell you want from me.

  3. I should point out that I never saw it all the way through. I saw brief scenes in a video production class when another student was basically stealing footage for a project he was doing. I saw enough to get the general plot, and that's about it. It just struck me as one of those "let's pay a couple of actors with decent name value and make something trashy and straight-to-VHS that will get a lot of video rentals."
  4. I sorta remember Freeway from high school. I just remember thinking, "Poor Kiefer Sutherland and Reese Witherspoon. I suppose their careers have come to this." Apparently, they recovered just fine.
  5. I could sit through six comedies, dramas, whatever in a row, so long as I find them entertaining on their own. Of course, I'm not a good example of "most people."
  6. I was pretty pleased with both 30 Rock and The Office. Mary Steenburgen as a prototypical WASP mother that's incapable of obscenity was awesome. I also love that Kristen Schall is getting featured.
  7. Yeah, ideally 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, The Office, and Community would all find a permanent home on NBC Thursday night. Nothing against Up All Night, I just haven't watched it. Maybe get a good sixth comedy and go back to the briefly attempted six comedies in a row?
  8. Just read about that. It's not a surprise, and the quality has dipped in these last two seasons, but it's still one of my favorites - even in its current, lesser form. It's for the best, but I'll be interested to see how things wrap up.
  9. Too much gritty, not enough wisecracky. But it's slightly better than the other stuff has indicated so far.
  10. So, if you didn't see it last night before the Super Bowl, here's the best network promo since the early 90's: NBC's "Brotherhood of Man"
  11. The simple truth is it bothers me when things don't go my way. Not a pretty or helpful answer, I realize. I'll stop now.
  12. I can't really comment on Noomi Rapcace, as I haven't seen her work. Though it does seem a short career to be including, for my taste. Maggie Smith though? I can't argue with that.
  13. The scales are starting to tip on this one. I think I may just have to accept that I'll never not hate so many things about so many people.
  14. . . . EDIT: The sarcastic inclusion of a Hackers clip almost makes that shit worth it. Almost.
  15. I fucking love how CSAMH's first post is just driiiiipping with sarcasm.
  16. I actually love this list, so far - with one exception. Patrick Swayze? This is strictly because of Road House, isn't it?
  17. I'm tempted to talk about each one, quote by quote, but that would get way old for you guys. So, this far in, I'll stick to this: - Alison Brie is someone I love on screen. Yet so many other choices could and should have been before her. - AMY POEHLER! JULIANNE MOORE! - But then I realized that those two are only here because I and one other person voted for them. They should be so much higher! - My thoughts on the rest: Meh. I suppose that makes sense in a way.
