  1. Super tactical and just a lot of fun—not much of a resource hog, either. It can get really hard, but it's great leveling up your dudes. It's probably in my top five games of last year.
  2. XCom: Enemy Unknown is only $8.24. And it's awesomeee. Also, Magicka is only $2.74. I'd be more than willing to gift that to someone. That's a criminally overlooked game.
  3. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is on sale and it's a god-damned awesome game—you need a controller, though. But I'd be more than willing to grab someone a copy. Also, the Mass Effect Trilogy is on sale on Green Man Gaming for $15. Preeetttttttyyyyyyyyy great deal.
  4. I remember reading an interview where that's planned to be in next year. It's no excuse, to say that the team had to do a lot to get the game even up and running (and it shows, with a lot of content you'd expect to be in there missing), but at least for the attires, you can just download stuff. It took me about a half-hour to find updated Rollins, Ambrose, The New Day, Cesaro, Zayn, Neville, and Ziggler yesterday. Also grabbed Itami, Owens, and Balor.
  5. Thanks Ruki. Got Papers, Please, and Fez (with the soundtrack) ready to be gifted.
  6. CRIIIIIIMMMMMMMUSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
  7. I cannot tell if Ruki loves the idea of this, or food, more. <3 pandasarerad is the steam name. willyumkemp [at] gmail dot com is the email. If anyone wants, say, Skyrim (not GOTY, sadly), or Prison Architect, or something of the like, I'd be more than happy to provide it. I really want the SimBin Mega Bundle, but I'll probably end up getting that myself in the next few days. Namedrop some titles y'all want/titles you've enjoyed that you think others might like. Hotline Miami is hella cheap and just oozing with personality and its gameplay is pretty rad. The soundtrack is fantastic, too. Fez is $2.74. I will gladly buy that for multiple people, because that is my favourite game of 2013. Gunpoint is only, like, $6.50. That's a fantastic puzzle game. Papers, Please is $5.49. Another incredible, atmospheric, rad game. Also, Super Meat Boy, if for some reason you missed out on it, is amazing. If y'all wanna be surprised, that's cool too.
  8. Was that a Dukes getting fucked? Nope. It was the Phoenix, which looks awesome when modified—or just unmodified, really. It just looks awesome. . But Dukes certainly do exist in current-gen GTA V. I'm in the process of saving up for one.
  9. Figured it'd be kinda rad to do this and have it in a centralized location. If anyone wants to participate, that'd be rad. If not? No worries. We'll say an arbitrary limit of, like, $5-$10. Express your interests in games, or say what spare copies you have, and throw them codes up/exchange usernames/emails and get to gifting. I'mma take a look at the Steam sale over the next few days and collect a few of my personal favourite games to gift.
  10. You can absolutely beat Captain Toad in a few hours, but 100%ing it is a different story. I'd estimate an easy 8-10, maybe upwards of 15 hours to get 100%--which you should. And that'd be fucking stupid if it were full price in the UK and discounted everywhere else.
  11. The Captain Toad levels were awesome. The full game has inventive, addicting gameplay and it's charming as all fuck. All the secret stuff is rad, too. You also get bonus levels if you have a 3D World save. The first few bonus levels are weird, but they get to be pretty rad. So yes, really. It's awesome.
  12. CAPTAIN TOAD SAVED BY PLUBBY'S SOCIAL LIFE YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY
  13. Captain Toad Treasure Tracker is fucking incredible and y'all need to play it, like, yesterday.
  14. HOLY FUCK I JUST PLAYED CAPTAIN TOAD AND IT'S LIKE NUMBER 3 NOW GOTTA CHANGE MY ORDER
  15. ... HA. HAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
  16. I've concocted a Playlist comprised exclusively of ramp/stunt-based races. Y'all should come play.
  17. I'll be around for a good chunk of today starting... well, about a half-hour ago. Which reminds me I need to go to the post office. But then I'll be around again for a good chunk of today. Need to make some money to get my third garage going. Also need to weed out my cars I don't use. Sooooooo I'll probably be doing Chrome/Gold Dubsta runs and fooling around with missions/races I bookmarked over the last few days.
  18. Dibs on the Raptors, even though the league probably won't take off.
  19. Holy fuck Metro 2033 and Last Light for $15 each. Get these games. Or if you have to pick one? 2033 gets the Redux treatment w/r/t graphics, and I believe you can play with the Last Light gameplay tweaks. And the story/atmosphere is just a bit better. Both amazing games, though, and the Redux treatment is rad. One of the few remakes worth it, to me. Especially at the reduced price point.
  20. You may be one of the few people on the board to think that, TBH. I haven't played this game in, like, nearly a month, and will probably trade it in within the week. It's fine, but it eventually gets old. Sliders help, but everything just feels too scripted, and clubs feel WAY too same-y. You can't play a possession game. It's just straight pace-y, high scoring stuff, and the keepers are still horrid. I also feel like I just don't have enough control over players/the ball. And a lot of players don't really feel like they have enough specialization/don't differentiate themselves enough. This game was really disappointing, especially after the glamour of the first few weeks of the game coming out wore off.
