  1. Ah, so this year's overrated white quarterback that gets picked over the better black quarterback is Will Levis, eh?
  2. I hate to say it, but neither one of these teams are beating Philly next week. 😕
  3. 275 yards of offense in the first half. Joe Burrow says, 'Fuck yo' snow, Buffalo.'
  4. I've never played Dwarf Fortress, but I've watched quill18's tutorial videos for so many games. I can't recommend him highly enough. He's not an obnoxious "Be sure to smash that like button!" type jackass and he does a great job explaining things as he goes.
  5. Definitely play a few games as a Lord or Count and work up to a Duke. Learn the ins and outs while having a liege protecting you.
  6. Christ, it'd be like Law & Order in real time.
  7. Yeah, perfect team is that ultimate team thing, which I don't know a single thing about. OOTP or FIFA or any other sporting game. I have no idea what it is or how it works, but it wants me to buy extra stuff so I've always ignored it.
  8. Was there a patch recently? There are multiple matches each week in the Prem League that are 6-4 or 5-4 now. Maybe I wasn't paying before. But the scoring seems to be ice hockey levels all of a sudden.
  9. How's your game going? This is my most played video game series of all-time, so if there's anything you're unsure of or need help with, let me know. I'm always happy to talk baseball and/or OOTP. The AI assistant GM is awful. Do not take his advice on anything trade related. You can make your assistant GM promote and demote minor leaguers, though I will say you will likely want to "lock" your top 10 or 15 or 20 prospects and move them yourself. I do this with my Top-25 prospects usually. I like to give those top prospects one year at each minor league level, with 18/19 year olds working their way up from the Florida/Dominican leagues, and 21/22 year olds starting at Single-A. If the player has an abysmal year at a level, let him start at the same level the following year, but try to promote him up if he's off to a good start. Keeping a player in a level where they're too good will hurt their development as they won't be challenged. If you don't care so much about that, you can invest a bunch of money in your development department, hire the best coaches, and let the assistant manager promote/demote at-will, but I've found my prospects develop so much better when I take a hands-on approach. I must admit that I find the minor league roster management/prospect development part of the game to be the most fun, though.
  10. 4th-and-8 and Kirk Cousins throws it three yards deep. YOU LIKE THAT? What a dolt.
  11. "Sir, I'm afraid you have COPD." "Oh, so your little crystal ball says if I don't stop smoking I'm going to die? I'll trust my body to adapt a-thank you!"
  12. Were there any issues with Correa's physical when he signed with Minnesota last year? I've got a hunch that the Twins' physical process doesn't go any lower than the knees.
  13. Now he will fail the Twins physical and he will agree to terms with the Giants again.
  14. You realize instantly that someone has no idea what the hell they're talking about when they say stuff like that. Finding out someone thinks a college team can beat even the worst NFL team and finding out someone voted for Trump are pretty much the two fastest ways for me to stop listening to anything that person is saying.
  15. Meacon, friend to some! Miniature American flags for others!
  16. To be fair to Mr. Ruggles, we'd likely be watching an Ohio State national title and Christ on a highway, I don't want to see that again anytime soon.
  17. Well (w)oof. This warrants the stop, stop, he's already dead gif. I'm having Alabama/Notre Dame flashbacks in how completely overmatched this is.
  18. To Hell with the Chiefs, Chargers, and Eagles though.
  19. I would take a Dallas Superb Owl over every other NFC team still in it. Every AFC team too, beside Jacksonville. Back to being a mediocre college coach, I reckon.
  20. When you all take over a squad half-way through a season, what do you do in regard to staff? I usually come in and keep the staff together until the end of that season and then start making changes, but I'm wondering if I'm losing out on better development or cohesiveness by not bringing in my own crew immediately. I just took the Hull City job in mid-February and I hired a new coach to assist with trainings, but was going to let the rest of the staff stick it out for now.
  21. I was really excited for it, but I've heard what you just said about it being mostly a shell of what it could and maybe eventually will be. I'll hold off for a few years and try not to be so terrible at Victoria 2 (Electric Boogaloo?) until then.
