  1. http://www.si.com/college-football/photos/2015/07/28/greatest-college-football-players-jersey-number/1 This is a fun list of the best players in college football history, in order by their jersey number. A fun way to spend twenty minutes.
  2. Mets get Cespedes. Yeah, today has been nowhere near as exciting or fun as last year.
  3. Lineker's original post was just the tweet and no further info. <_<
  4. Broxton to St. Louis. Milwaukee is selling everything and anything.
  5. Gerardo Parra rumored to be going to Baltimore. And the Mets are reportedly interested in everybody under the sun.
  6. I wonder if they gave him more than Aaron Rodgers.
  7. So from about noon on I'm not going to be doing anything other than sitting on my ass watching MLB Network. I'm quite excited, but today can't be any more exciting than last year, right?
  8. I don't know if San Diego is willing to do that though. Not sending enough for it to actually help pay that beast of a contrast off anyway. I think the mindset in San Diego is that of Miami a few years back in the "Oh shit we spent all this money and it hasn't paid off overnight!" sell-now mode. Padres want to offload Shields to some suckers willing to take on his salary without having to contribute. They likely won't find anyone willing to do that which leads me to believe he'll stay in San Diego for the rest of this year, and they'll decide to send him and money to offset his salary sometime next year when it may be easier to convince a team to pay the guy that kind of money for three years, instead of four.
  9. I was suspended for accidentally sending a dick pic to my auntie. Seems quite harsh, really.
  10. I heard Castro going to San Diego, but the return was going to be James Shields, and the Cubs don't think he's worth his contract. There's also word that they are talking to Seattle about sending Castro out there.
  11. Fucking Blue Jays just got David Price. Good news is he isn't capable of pitching every game. Toronto gave up Daniel Norris for him. Norris is one of the best pitching prospects in the league, so here's to Price shitting the bed in Canada-eh.
  12. Yeah, the announcers for the YES Network won't stop letting us Northeasterners know how sickly, stupidly hot it is there. "100 degrees at first pitch. Still 100 degrees. That breeze you just felt? It was my hot breath, because there's no breeze here. It's 100 degrees!"
  13. Ugh. Toronto gets Tulo. Texas gets Hamels. I guess that means we've gotta go get Price. Oh wait, what? Oh, yeah, we have no pieces with trade value.
  14. Depending on which magazine said that, that could mean they'll end up going 13-3.
  15. I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally need to get back into this game. I think I've only done one or two of the heists.
  16. Brady needs to drop this before he ends up in federal court with the judge telling him he's a moron.
  17. I'd rather they use the same commentary from the last dozen games than add JBL to it.
  18. Who would have thought a keeper was so game-changing?
  19. Yanks were down 5-0 after the first, but put three touchdowns on the board to win the comeback 21-5.
  20. I'm excited to see how much of a ninny/just how little Clowney cares on Hard Knocks. Even before he enrolled at South Carolina, he was constantly taking off plays and just seemed content to get by on his skill and not work hard at being better. Everyone remembers the hit he had on that Michigan running back that knocked his helmet off, but what most people that don't watch college football won't know is 50% of the time he was just going with the motions. He is such an athletic freak that if he had any heart or desire to be the best, he very well could be. But he's just happy to coast on his natural abilities, and I think unless someone smacks him in the head, he'll never be anything more than average.
  21. So Colorado has reportedly traded Tulo to Toronto for Jose Reyes and some prospects. I don't like it.
