One of the girls from Los Campesinos! is leaving the band after their August US tour, pretty sure its the singing one, not the bass or the violin one, which makes me sad. Mainly for the fact that they skip over Baltimore in their tour.

Ghost Mice is coming to a basement near me. Sweet! And Pedals on our Pirate Ships is coming just a few weeks later! Amazing place!

YI, I've been meaning to ask you, do you know anywhere to find Slow Club's EP? I remember they were on a gaylist a while back, and I fell in love with that song("Christmas TV").

I hate when most the people leave before a gig is over. Last month I went to go see my friend's band play in a shitty little bar, and as it was their first gig they invited a lot of their friends. Well, the crowd was as into them as they had been all night(of course, the two acts before them were an acoustic singer/songwriter - hard to get into without actually knowing the songs, and a shitty metal-something band where, out of the three singers, only was was any good. Also, the keyboardist/singer tried to look sexy, and it really didn't work for her. She wishes she had people trying to thrust their dick into her). But anyway, after my friend's band left, there were MAYBE twenty people left to listen to the final act. They were some fun pop-punk guys who tried to get the crowd going, but to no avail. I tried to see those guys again last week, but I sort of crashed my car merging onto the highway. Didn't feel much like dancing after that...

"When She Loved Me" was on anyway. Might have to replace it with something else. I might up it this weekend, wasn't sure how long to leave it. Some good stuff on though (and I've managed to stay quite clear of folk-punk, as much as possible), mixture of some acoustic versions by Bloc Party/Four Year Strong/Gaslight Anthem etc, and legit acoustic artists. Boo!

Yeah, thought you might like that. No idea what gave me that impression.... When's the acoustic gaylist coming? I'd think something of his HAS to go on now.

Greaaaaaat show. Even without the violinist(who couldn't come on the tour due to illness).

After listening to "Hold On Now Youngster," "Sticking Fingers in Sockets," and "We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed" today to psyche myself up, I find "We Are..." to be my least favorite release from them, but it has my favorite song, "Miserabilia." I just think it loses something towards the end, while I love "...Youngster" all the way through.

So, I'm going to see Los Campesinos tonight, anyone seen them live/have opinions on them? Yeah, this is mainly to brag, can't wait for the show!

I just heard "Interview at the Ruins" by Circle Takes the Square about an hour ago, the intro to that gave me chills.

I'm hoping to see this on Thursday, if only to satisfy my man-crush on Michael Cera the entire cast of Arrested Development.
