Skummy/any other Smiths fans - what's a good starting point to get into their material? Not that there's a huge amount of it, but they're a band I've always wanted to listen to, so recommendations would be appreciated.

I like Kid Cudi, but...what? But Streetlight, Los Camp, M.I.A., Minor Threat, Brand New, and Belle and Sebastian are all wonderful. And I'm sure I'd like AWS if I gave them a chance. The rest I don't care about.

Merriwether Post Pavilion is a terrible, terrible place. Like the album cover, but what a terrible concert venue.

Best one for me yet, which isn't so surprising as I voted for a couple of these. Lupe is my favorite mainstream rapper, Modest Mouse is one of my favorite indie bands, Bright Eyes and Andrew Jackson Jihad are the obligatory acoustic acts that I have to love. And Alkaline Trio are alright.

I have no idea who the Electric Six, Crystal Method, Peaches, or Devildriver are. I've never heard any songs by Deftones, Steely Dan, My Bloody Valentine, or the Clan. In fact, the only performer on the list that I like so far is Regina Spektor...and I voted for her...

They made far too few episodes of that show!

Most of my family loves this show, and I think it's watchable on occassion, but...why would you watch them from 7:00PM until 1:00AM? Its just a bunch of downtime, then something minor happening, then them replaying that minor occurence until something else minor happens, which could be an hour from then. Plus, that Destination Truth guy gets on my nerves.
