  1. Fear Factory Fear Factory invented the hard/clean vocal styles that are used by SO many bands today, and not nearly half as effective. So, if you like Mudvayne, Slipknot or anything like that, do yourself a favor and get "Demanufacture", "Obsolete" or "Archetype" next time your at a CD store.
  2. Primus. I haven't heard them enough to know if they have bass solos or not, but the bassist has incredible talent.
  3. NBC has the best hour on TV right now, "My Name Is Earl" followed by "The Office"
  4. July 7th - Summerfest - The Fray, The Pixies and Weezer. Awesome, awesome show...I ordered the CD of the Pixies show that night and it should be here sometime this week. A couple weeks ago, I went to a local band's last show, 529. Next Show: October 1st. The Rave. Against F'n Me!
  5. Anchorman Shaun of the Dead Clue (Best movie ever) BASEketball Saving Silverman Made Swingers Old School Mystery Science Theater 3000 The Movie
  6. Clutch and Danko Jones are (in my opinion) the only two good bands on that list...but everything is a million times better live, so knock yourself out. Clutch > *
  7. Anything from the new Black Rebel Motorcycle Club CD "Howl", specifically "Ain't No Easy Way"
  8. Heh, I'm having that same problem right now...I want to sell the XBox to put it towards the XBox360, but I don't want to because I won't have a game system for a couple of months...but, I think it would be smarter to sell it now.
  9. umm.....I think it's called "B-Sides" but I could be totally wrong.
  10. The one on State Street owns, I found a bunch of cool imports there...there's also an awesome used CD store down by Taco Bell on State Street, I find alot of Out of print stuff and CD singles there, too.
  11. The U2 cover isn't bad...but the cover of Millennium is 500 kinds of awesome. Favorite tracks so far are Millennium Moment of Impact Empire Supernova Echo of My Scream Contagion
  12. I got it, it's pretty good...upon first listen I didn't get into it at all though, but I like the CD now...it isn't as good as Archetype, but it's enjoyable. And where do you live, Seattlebandfan? As far as I know, The Exclusive Company is only in Wisconsin...
  13. I know I'm in the VAST minority of Against Me! fans, but I really prefere "As The Eternal Cowboy" much more than "Is Reinventing Axl Rose", which is still a great album. Anyways, I am in love with "Don't Lose Touch", and me and my friends are going to Milwaukee to see them at The Rave on the Fat Tour....and I can't fucking wait.
  14. Have fun, IWC...J5 kick so much ass, I can't imagine how awesome they are live though
  15. Monkey Island series - It was explained in the first post, but I'll add The Secret of Monkey Island was one of the first computer games I ever played, and it never gets old. Sid Meier's Pirates! - You play as a Pirate, who you name...I named mine Guybrush, because a Pirate game ain't the same without Guybrush Mo'fuggin' Threepwood, and search for family members who are scattered about. Also Take over towns, swordfight, field battle (like Command and Conquer) and alot more. EWR - I think we all know what this is. The Elderscrolls: Morrwind GOTY Edition - The game starts with you getting bailed out of Jail by the king...why? Play to find out! This game seems to be never ending, taking place on an impressively large island (two if you have the GOTY Edition), 200+ side missions, and an awesome story. MVP Baseball 2005 - The best Baseball game ever made. When I was a kid, I loved baseball, then I just kinda didn't like it...I heard MVP 2004 was awesome, and it was, so now I love baseball again. Doom - First Person Shooter, hell invades earth, you try to stop it.
  16. I disliked the Osbournes, but I fucking hate them now! That is such bullshit!
  17. God! How could I forget about Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence?
  18. I was thinking eariler how much concept albums rule...so this thread to to obviously post your favorite concept albums...and help me find more (Y) (For those that don't know, a "Concept Album" is a WHOLE album that tells one story) My 3 Favorite Concept Albums are 1. Green Day's "American Idiot" 2. Electric Six's "Fire" 3. Dream Theater's "Metropolis Part 2: Scenes From A Memory"
  19. It was wierd....I haven't listened to Iron Maiden in like a year, and I was like "I want me some Iron Maiden CDs", so I got Dance of Death (GREAT GREAT CD) and The Essential Iron Maiden....which is a lie because Hallowed Be Thy Name and Prowler isn't on the 2 disc set.
