Recommend me books/sagas/arcs to read. I've recently read and enjoyed the entirety of Blackest Night and Kingdom Come, I am currently reading through Brightest Day (about halfway through), and have an 'Essential Batman Reading' collection and a full Ultimates collection to go through. I already have 52 and the Final Crisis HC, and am aquiring the Infinite Crisis and Countdown to Final Crisis collections. I am, obviously, a DC fan over Marvel. Shoot!

Yussss! About fuckin' time. New Lykke Li is pretty good. Both downtempo and loud at the same time. Bizarre. The King Of Limbs is, frankly, boring. Just...no lift, no breaks, no nothing. It's flat. :/ We're New Here, however, is amazing. Gil Scott-Heron and Jamie XX together was an idea that seemed terrible to me at first, but it is infact delicious! Also incredibly excited for a new Guillemots album because from The Basket it actually sounds relatively like the first album, kinda. Yay! The two new Foos tracks I've heard thus far have both been brilliant too. White Limo blows my face off every time. Plus, absolutely great video: And finally, after now having heard some of the newer Lupe stuff, I'm very stoked for Lasers - although the three-album-one-album dealio he was aiming for sounded kinda interesting too.

I'm sure Gazz supports Newcastle. Also, fuck the North.

I really hope Lupe Fiasco isn't the frontman of Japanese Cartoon. Having just listened to two songs, they're kinda dull, and the vocal accent is HORRIFIC. Whilst I'm here, I heartily endorse The XX's self-titled album. It's fucking lush.

Mumford & Sons' 'Little Lion Man' may be the best single I have heard in the past five years. That is all.

From various bits of watching Red Button (which is delicious, by the way), I must say a few things: - Seeing Brian Fallon (think that's his name?)'s face when The Boss came onstage made me overly, overly happy. Seriously, that sheer joy was amazing to behold. - As a few of you already know, Karen O deepthroating a pink microphone following the fake orgasm vocals was...just...yeah....yeah....yeah. See what I did there? Ohhhh. - Blur were excellent, if a little shambolic. - Neil Young returning to the chorus of Free World so many times grated a little bit. - Prodigy looked....fucking INSANE. - La Roux is lovely. - Aaaand Jarvis Cocker with Spinal Tap was pure genius! Wish I'd been there maaaan
