Meh, they shouldn't. It was good, for my money. A little long on the exposition. And there is a lot of 'gooey' romantic stuff, but hey, it's a summer blockbuster, it's part and parcel. I mean hell, Thor had it (from what I hear), as will Cap. The constructs looked really good, just on the right side of the 'overdone line'. Reynolds was enjoyable - a bit too RR at times, but laregly inoffensive. Due to the fact that the exposition did drag on for so long, they needed to kick the action up a lot in the final third, and they really did. With the origin story out of the way, and the nice teaser scene post-credits, GL2 should be brilliant, and a hell of a lot more full-throttle.

Wow, hella stoked for the next episode now. Question though. In the Prequel from the BBCDW site, the big blue guy; isn't he the same one from the hospital in New New New New (whatever) York? Or do they just look similar? Also, I assume the iMDB thing was a wind-up, as I can't see anything 'revelatory' on there now, unless I'm missing the obvious?

They're filming some scenes down the road from where I work. Big, late Victorian (at a completely uneducated guess) building. Haven't seen anyone famous outside yet though to fill rumours. Just lots and lots and lots and lots of power cables.

He's currently my most consistent striker, regularly nets, has more assists than most of the league, so I've bought him for the lovely 9m automatic transfer fee I had as part of the agreement.
