    L33t Thread 2010

I'm away to Gaslight tonight in Edinburgh (excited even if I can barely stand due to hurting my leg last night at Zebrahead/Less Than Jake). Setlists from the tour so far have looked absolutely amazing, Glasgow in June (couldn't make it as it was at the Academy) got We're Getting A Divorce, You Keep The Diner so if they want to play that in Edinburgh that would be just perfect
  2. Agreed with the Terriers love. Such a brilliant show and it'll be pretty gutting if it doesn't get picked up for a new season. Honestly can't think of any faults with it. Plus the theme song is absolutely amazing
  3. Right. So this game. Folks job is in danger. Awful kicking from him. The Jets should never have allowed that to go into overtime. This sport and this team is going to be the death of me. Next week, can we please win it in normal time preferably without the late drama? Great game to watch though, besides the near heart attacks.
  4. Just finished my first season with Hearts and it was a roaring success. Scottish Cup winners after thumping Celtic 3-1 in the final and 2nd in the SPL which sadly means Europa League because of how bad Scottish teams have been in Europe lately. David Templeton is the best player on the game. 4-5-1 with Driver/Templeton on the wings with Griffiths upfront (16 goals after I bought him in January) is heavenly. Love this game
  5. Well... Very poor performance but a wins a win, back on top of the AFC East but need to really shape up for Cleveland next week. So today somehow turned out to be a very good day (performance aside )
  6. I have no idea how the Jets managed to take this game to overtime. Luck. Thank you luck.
  7. Ndamukong Suh just hit Detroits extra point (he missed off the post)
  8. Sanchez hasn't been that bad, I don't mind him checking down if there's nothing open. It's when he checks down and doesn't look up that bothers me. I was gonna say about Braylon being the teams best WR and that's why he should be thrown to more but after that debacle he just did giving the Lions the ball
  9. Jets offense are making up for last weeks debacle by having 4 possessions and going 3 and out 3 times. Disgustingly predictable playcalling from Schottenheimer, be amazed if they managed to even score . EDIT: Get in the red zone and fumble the snap on 3rd down. Hopeless. Atleast they got 3 points. Finally some points.
  10. Biggest defeat in Aberdeens history too. Hate Celtic but I wont hide from laughing at Mark McGhee. Hope he doesn't resign though, that'd be a shame.
  11. He wasn't great today but a lot of the blame has to go on the receivers, mainly Holmes and Cotchery for drops. Something like 7 drops between them. He needs to stop aiming for Holmes too, Edwards has been having a great season as has Keller yet since Holmes came in he's almost neglected those two for Holmes. Not good at all from anyone on offense today, the defense should rightly be pissed at them.
  12. Disgustingly bad offensive performance from the Jets today, didn't deserve to score. Defense played very well though. That's about it as far as positives go.
  13. Just got done watching it, I honestly think this may be becoming my favourite show ever. Not sure if it was better than last years Halloween episode which along with Modern Warfare are my favourite the show have done but it's right up there. Love that Dean Pelton is getting more screen time too. Such a great character.
  14. Think it'll be interesting to see who Tom Hardy plays as most people automatically assumed he'd be The Riddler. Not the biggest Catwoman fan but I'd be perfectly fine with her in the film although I'd quite like Nolan to maybe go down the road of Talia Al Ghul as we've already had Ra's in Begins so you could tie them together. Can't wait either way.
  15. Pompey are in trouble again, likely to be shut down. http://www.portsmout...pardy-1522.aspx Had no idea they were still in any sort of trouble.
  16. Got it last night, played it a bit then and am back on it now. Went Hearts obviously, mainly to check out stats (not bad for a change) and am currently at the end of October in the demo so it'll be ending soon. Enjoying the game though, moves really quickly for me, looks good although I could do with a darker skin. Pretty similar to last years with a few touches, which is good as I loved last years game the most out of any FM game. Realistic too, the game crocked Andy Driver straight away for 3 months
  17. David S. Goyer and the Nolan brothers are writing/have finished the script so I don't believe Snyder will have anything to do with it. It'll probably help the film as it was Goyer who also worked on Batman Begins and Snyder can make films look great. Anxious to see the cast now, all I know is that apparently Brandon Routh definitely wont be returning.
  18. Yaaaaaaaas we're gonna win the Euros. A late 97th minute winner against Liechtenstein after being outplayed. Bring on Spain.
  19. Hibs. First Celtic crash out the Champions League, then Hibs are thrashed out 6-2 by NK Maribor. Well done to Motherwell though.
  20. Hibernian Only they could be 6-2 up and draw 6-6. That's like 2 wins in 17 games now for them
  21. Ah I miss when Hibs were going to win the title, split the old firm, finish 3rd, finish 4th, finish 5th Amazing we can still make Europe this season. Should win our last 2 games, Dundee United who'll rest players for the Final and Celtic because they're just gash. metalman, don't worry, you have Aberdeen next, you should win that game
  22. We're going to be absolutely battered today. I'd be happy to keep Rangers to a minimum of 2 goals EDIT: Ian Brines sending off a Hearts player, who would have guessed
  23. Celtic Hibs Today has been a good day, despite the worst refereeing decision of all time going down at Tynecastle today when Obua was ruled offside for passing the ball to himself. Now to finish 4th in the SPL, just hope Motherwell slip up a bit, if not we'll take 5th above Hibs. (Y)
  24. Terrible news Only upside is that Neil Lennon is manager until the end of the season, hopefully he gets the job full time. Be ace if they appointed one of Roy Keane/Steve Staunton/Csaba Laszlo/Henrik Larsson/Chris Sutton if they don't decide to stick with Lennon.

    L33t Thread 2010

After initial panic that Gaslight had sold out Glasgow, it appears tickets are still on sale, hopefully they are by Monday when I get paid as I need tickets to see them again. I've got Los Campesinos! on Wednesday too, need to find out where the Bongo Club is first though and Frank Turner next month. I need to get more gigs and music for that matter, I appear to be out of the loop. I haven't listened to anybody "new" in ages. Although I quite like the new Angels and Airwaves album, got it this morning and I've been pleasently surprised.
