It is more of a step sideways with a nudge forwards. There are definite improvements and some of the spots in Skate 3 are much better but for the most part the system hasn't changed much, then again if it isn't broke why fix it. For one the skate park editor is I'm sure fantastic if you have the patience to create a whole skate park and not to just piss about with it.

Actually had a chance to play this again today, not much further on then before but i think i worked out the killer hope i'm wrong.

I've probably jinxed this now, i have not had any graphics, sound or freezing problems so far. However i did have graphic problems on the demo. Been avoiding the spoilers in this thread even though the are so tempting to click, even ones for parts of the game i know i have done just in case it is different then my play through. Currently only up to the Ethan car part and loving this game so much.

I was just coming to post that, i will echo the meh sentiments. They really should have done the announcements the other way round in my opinion, or at least saved one of the headliners for the second announcement just to give it more impact.

Finished the story on normal and absolutely loved it managed 40 of the treasures on one play though including the the extra secret one or whatever they call it. Gonna go through the chapters i need treasures in within the next week or so perhaps. Had a quick deathmatch never did end up getting the beta so my first taste of multiplayer and loved that too despite getting my ass handed too me. I'm already excited for a second play through but will have to take it slower as my dad was round earlier and saw part of it and said i absolutely have to play through again just so he can watch the whole thing he wouldn't play it himself so can only play when he is available to come watch.

Got up real early so i can go into town and pick up a copy in about an hour can't wait got the whole day off too so plenty of time to play today. As far as i'm aware the reviews have all been positive in fact it is scoring better then the first i believe.

Also agree don't think you have to complete 1 before playing 2 but it is well worth it fantastic game and will be getting 2 first thing on Friday for sure.

In order of how much i enjoyed them and thought all were alright except Elektra in my opinion.
