Sorry for the double post, but Ja Morant has now been suspended for 8 games by the NBA for conduct detrimental to the league.

Ja Morant has entered a counseling program in Florida and there is no time table on his return to play.

And now Durant is out for the season, possibly the start of the playoffs, with a sprained ankle. Off to a great start.

I haven't seen or heard anything bad yet about Ryan Smith. Got rich from the tech world, been a Jazz fan his whole life. Really seems to want to improve the team, the community, and everybody around him.

I think that Phoenix has a decent chance at coming out of the West. Denver will give them trouble and so will Golden State, if Curry gets fully healthy. Memphis might give them a run, but a lot might depend on Morant's legal troubles. But, if Phoenix does come out of the West, I don't see them beating Boston or the Bucks. Maybe even the 76ers. They will have to get lucky and hope somebody else makes it out of the East, but I doubt that will happen.

Mot today, but late last night. Booted up NBA 2k22, lost to the Blazers in my Utah Jazz franchise. Turned on WWE 2k22 next, lost three straight matches, the last two in under five minutes. Not a fun night.

While I still stand by what I said in my earlier post, and will agree that Utah does have a ton of racists people, reports are coming out that all in-arena entertainment is being done and arranged by the NBA and there teams, so there is a great likely hood somebody not from Utah was responsible for this.

I can't bring myself to start the fourth season of Yellowstone. I enjoyed the first three seasons, but it's never felt like a show I just had to watch, just something I would put on when I had an hour to kill. Probably doesn't help that I have a co-worker that thinks it's the best show ever and rewatches it every few months.

After a few months of just being too busy, I've managed to sneak in a couple hours the last few days on the X Box, playing both WWE 2k22 and NBA 2k22.

Russell Westbrook is considering actually playing in Utah. Chances are he will still be bought put, but the fact that he is even considering it, with the history he has here, I think is huge and says a lot about the changes our ownership has managed to make in a few short years.
