  1. Is that what happened? I was so confused watching the trailer. Almost had myself convinced to watch the first two seasons again to see if I missed something.
  2. Nah, but hear y'all might be interested in Mike Conley. Got any more Walker Kesslers hiding anywhere?
  3. Why wouldn't you recommend it? If somebody is a fan of Star Wars, and video games, I would recommend it. I haven't played it in over ten, probably closer to fifteen years, and it does feel really familiar, but some how new and fresh at the same time.
  4. Has a kicker ever been cut after a playoff game that his team won?
  5. Watching Walker Kessler play basketball with a big, goofy smile on his face makes me have a big, goofy smile on my face.
  6. After dealing with some flooding issues in my basement and a broken pipe behind my backyard, I finally found some time to play KOTOR today. Finished Dantooine and on to the heart of the game.
  7. Been playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on the Switch today. Also played Mario Kart 8 with my five year old. On my phone, I usually load up The Simpsons: Tapped Out a few times a day.
  8. 49ers will always be number one, Bills in the AFC. If something happens to them, seeing the Chargers win would be awesome for a friend of mine. Would love to see Brady take the Bucs all the way, just to see all the haters moan. Ravens would be cool for my family that lives in Baltimore. Don't care about anybody else, as long as Dallas or Seattle doesn't win.
  9. I went with Ralph Ketcham's biography on Madison. Pretty sure I found it at a bargin store and grabbed it. Although I've read books on Grant and Lincoln in the past, I really started a few years ago with Washington, A Life by Ron Chernow, followed by McCullough's John Adams. I can't remember what Jefferson biography I read, but I paused from the presidents and read Hamilton by Chernow. Reading it really helped add a lot of filler to what was going on with Washington. Adams, and Jefferson. I'm thinking that after I read Monroe's biography, I'm going to go back and find one for Benjamin Franklin, Napoleon, Samuel Adams, and possibly King George, to really flesh out the world around that time. And after that, I'll pick back up the presidents.
  10. Currently reading a biography on James Madison, have about 100 pages left. Next up will be a book by a travel blogger, Alyssa Ramos. After that, I'll be back to my goal of reading a biography on every US president, with James Monroe. My goal for this year is to finish that book faster then I've read the last three presidential books.
  11. Not sure if I'm happy where I finished or not. Actually thought I would be closer to the bottom, but happy with the potential for the future.
  12. It's turning out to be an extremely bad fit. Outside of a few people here, it seemed like Rudy was well liked in Utah, but is definitely different then most players. It's crazy how Snyder was able to bring out and utilize Rudy the best, while it seems like he was holding Mitchell back, given the way Mitchell is playing in Cleveland. I'm sad to see Rudy doing so poorly, and part of me hopes they can pull it together and make a run, but I'll also be happy with a lottery pick from the Wolves.
  13. Sounds like a lot of it was people just following protocol, not knowing what else to do. Injured player on the ground? Network goes to commercial, so cameras are off the injury, announcers don't have to speculate to the injury. NFL protocol for after an injury occurs is to let the players warm up for five minutes, then resume play, so that's what the officials did. I'm sure none of that is actually with the thought of somebody nearly dying, which of course nobody wants or should have to, think about happening. Outside of the people sending out careless tweets (fuck them, especially Skip Bayless), it sounds like everybody did exactly what they were trained to do, it was just too extreme of an injury for anybody to have a plan in place for.
  14. Not sure how to out the tweet here, but David Shuster is reporting that the players and coaches made the call to not continue playing, not the NFL. Good on them.
  15. Hopefully the players didn't give the NFL a choice and just decided not to play. Hate to see this in a game we all love, really makes you wonder about things and life.
  16. Can't wait for all the Jimmy G to the Raiders rumors.
  17. I was debating on not including Kobe in my list, but didn't want to upset anybody. Outside of the years with Shaq and Gasol, comparing what he had is about what Luka has had to play with.
  18. Like @JasonMsaid, until he carries his team to the Finals like Dwight, Kobe, LeBron, and Dirk all did, Luka is just outside the top 5 of one man team players. I don't know if he's good enough yet to take a team to the Finals when his next best player is Christian Wood, but he might be in a couple years. Sky is the limit for him.
  19. Yea, it was a prank. Bill was only 7k, one of our vets chipped in $1,000 the two rookies spilt the rest.
  20. Jazz are playing against Donovan Mitchell for the first time today. I'm happy he's playing well and is happy in Cleveland. But, damn, I miss watching him play in a Jazz jersey.
  21. I can't enjoy being up 28-0 after seeing Deebo go down.
  22. Thank fuck it's not San Francisco.
  23. The NBA fined Jordan Clarkson $15,000 for tossing his headband into an empty chair behind the Jazz bench, because it could have caused a potential headband fan injury. This is after Clarkson was turned sideways in a collision with two Blazer players and nothing was called. There refs are a joke this year.
