  1. I guess I can't put all of the blame on me. Who would have ever thought a perfectly healthy Cooper Kupp would have a zero point game?
  2. I'm never making the mistake of not starting Mahomes again. If that ends up costing me a playoff spot, I'm never going to let myself live it down.

Feel bad for McLaughlin. Kid just blew it. Too much pressure. I hate Seattle.
  4. Gordan Hayward broke his hand. And just as he was starting to regain his form. Feel bad for him.
  5. It's too early in the season for the Jazz to be playing with my heart like they did tonight. Thank God for Bogey. Might be the best signing in Jazz history. Also, to show that I kinda follow college basketball, the Utah Utes won by a NCAA record 94 points tonight. Insane.
  6. Players never had a problem with it until this current generation came along. Maybe I just got spoiled growing up watching players play every game in the 90s. I'll happily agree that the NBA season is gruelingly long and that players should be rested towards the end of it, when your teams playoff spot is secure. But 5 games into the season? Or pre planning it before the season starts? Please. They're getting paid millions of dollars, get the best training and eating available. Not a fan of it, never will be, and nobody will ever convince me otherwise.
  7. While I understand that some players need rest during the regular season and that it is a long, grueling season with a bunch of nagging injuries, Kawhi is taking it to a whole other level. And it's a joke to me. He claims he's still injured, but theres never been any prove outside of his word and the Clippers have been inconsistent with their injury reports about him, hence the fine. And if he really is still injured, or recovering from an injury, how is he able to play at an MVP level when he does play? I've watched a lot of basketball and I dont think I've ever seen an "injured" player average 29 points per game.
  8. So the NBA came out and said that they are OK with the Clippers resting Kawhi Leonard on back to backs because they believe the Clippers medical staff that Kawhi's knee is hurt enough to require the rest. And the next day, they fine the Clippers $50,000 for inconsistent reports about Kawhi's supposed injury. This league had no idea what it is doing about load management and it's becoming a joke.
  9. Damn, two in one year? Either the NBA ramped up its testing or players are becoming more stupid about it.

If somebody running a fan account for the XFL isn't on the XFL payroll, I would be amazed.

I'm not sure if that is a diss towards the Jets, or the level of competition in the XFL.
  12. Wouldn't surprise me. Every time I start thinking the Utes are going to become elite and win the Pac-12, they lose to some crappy team. UCLA would fit that bill this year.
  13. Utah tried to scare me today against Washington. Luckily, we pulled it off in the end. Just a shame we have that stupid loss against USC.
  14. So, I downloaded CK2, figured with it being free on Steam, why not give it a try? I've watched most of a tutorial on Youtube from Quill18, and started a game basically the same way he did. I started in the earliest date possible in the base game, as a king in Mumu. Set my ambition to be the King of Ireland. Made sure my heir was married, gave out all my minor titles available, sent my council members out to basically the same places as in the tutorial I watched, unpaused the game...and now what? I want to take over the rest of the counties in Ireland so I can truly become the King of Ireland, but have no idea how to declare war on anybody. Do I just let the game run and wait for events to happen?
  15. I never said he was average. He has had a pretty good career. However, after watching his first few seasons in the league, I always thought that he had the potential to be a Shaq-like dominating center. 25 points per game, 13 rebounds per game, win a title or two, be bound for the Hall of Fame. But, to me, before his injuries started to pile up, he always seemed content to be the player that he was, never tried to improve his post game, and therefore, he never lived up to the potential I thought he had. Rose is a great "What If?" And with the way he's been able to return and be playing close to a high level again, just makes you wonder how great he really could have been. I really like Zion, both as a player, and he seems like a good human too. But, he needs to either lose weight or develop more of a jump shot game. I'm hoping that playing with Derrick Favors, he'll learn a thing or two to improve his game and not rely on his extreme athleticism.
  16. Yea, maybe Oden, but is hard to take injuries into consideration. For players who haven't gotten major injuries, Howard has got to be the biggest disappointment. Draymond Green is injured now, which is a shame. I was looking forward to watching him fail without any good players around him.

I really want to know what Kingsbury is saying in the locker room about that. I'm hoping Kittle isn't too hurt. Can't afford to lose him.
  18. Steph Curry broke his hand tonight. Pretty nasty fall. I agree, @KJE. Plus, its two years away. A lot can happen in two years.
  19. If Howard isn't the biggest disappointment, talent wise, of the last 20 years, I don't know who is. Guy could have been more dominating then Shaq was. Joel Embiid and Karl Anthony-Towns with a pretty massive brawl tonight. Both players throwing punches and ejected from the game. Wondering what kind of suspensions the NBA will hand out.
  20. The Clippers are resting Kawhi Leonard tonight against the Jazz. Load management is the biggest crock of crap in the NBA. But, hey, no excuse for the Jazz not to win tonight.
  21. The Jazz barely escape Phoneix with a win last night and, man, Mike Conley might just be the worse player in the NBA right now.
  22. Yea, Raptors weren't in any danger of not making the playoffs. Could even make another finals run, depending on how good the Bucks and Celtics turn out. Just how good is Luka Doncic?
