  1. I think the length of Cushing's suspension should be changed. That defense is so stupid it should be changed to six games instead of four!
  2. Eh. The two question rule exists in the wrestling trivia, so I thought we were doing it here, too. If I remember right, Johnny Depp has only been married once, back in 80s. All the other women he's lived with he's never officially married. And I don't have another question, so someone feel free to ask one if I'm right.
  3. Tebow I think needs to sit on the bench a year or two. If the Broncos try to rush him and make him a starter without him spending a season or two learning and adjusting, it will be a huge mistake. I don't think Tebow will be the `football god' he was made out to be in college, but I do think he'll be pretty damn good in the NFL if given the appropriate coaching and training. I also think he's lucky he was drafted by an AFC team in a weak division.
  4. WRONG! (Damn the two question break rule, or I'd answer)
  5. I'm a Vols fan, so you'd think I'd sling some shit about Tebow. But I won't. I got sick of hearing Tebow being praised all over the place (you'd think he was the second coming!), and I do have concerns about him having to change his throwing style a few times. But I hope he has a good career, and as long as he quits running and becomes a QB rather than a QB who thinks he's a running back, he probably will. I just hope the Broncos don't try to rush him into the starting QB position. He's definitely not ready for that.
  6. A miracle happened during the Hall of Fame Game. Roy Williams actually caught a pass! Seriously, though, if JT O'Sullivan is their backup QB, the Bengals better hope and pray that Carson Palmer actually manages to make it through the season without getting injured.
  7. Roy Hinkley and Jonas Grumby are better known as....?
  8. KARR. Knight Automated Roving Robot. Peter Cullen, aka Optimus Prime, in Transformers.
  9. I'm going to give you a partial cast list for one of my favorite Samuel L. Jackson movies. Name the film: Samuel L. Jackson Robert Carlyle Emily Mortimer Meat Loaf Rhys Ifans (The movie is known by two different titles. Either one is acceptable)
  10. Hate to say it, but the one Powerhart posted is more impressive. They discussed the catch in the post that started this thread on ESPN and pointed out that walls in Japanese stadiums are shorter than they are in MLB stadiums. And it has nothing to do with Japanese players being shorter; its because they don't worry about security or safety issues as much. So the amazing part of that catch isn't the player getting that high up on the wall. Its the player getting up that high, period.
  11. The Canadian Crisis has you rescuing characters from LOST (names changed, obviously)! They're slowly adding more content to the game, but from about lvl 15 to 20-22 its kind of weak unless you like doing desert missions. The Canadian missions around that level are a royal pain.
  12. Just wondering if anyone else here plays Champions Online, has played it and quit, or hasn't played but wants to try it. Champions Online is a lot more fun than City of Heroes/City of Villains, even though CoH/CoV has better graphics. You're not limited to 2 powersets and Champions Online doesn't uses classes or servers. (Champions Online has instanced zones rather than servers) (And one of these days I need to change my avatar; I haven't played City of Heroes in over 2 years!)
  13. Btw, regarding Garrus' loyalty mission, you can go either way with it and still keep him loyal, but if you take the Paragon route I believe you have to do certain triggers/pick certain dialogs. I think his loyalty mission is the only one like that. If you haven't done both Jack and Miranda's loyalty missions, read this first, because it will save you a lot of grief later: How to beat the final mission with no one dying:
  14. Congratulations! You're up.
  15. There have been TWO different Major League Baseball teams called the Washington Senators (the original team and an expansion team). Both teams still exist, but relocated and changed names. Name both.
  16. From what I've heard, Kraven killed the Grim Hunter (I think) and due to something going wrong with how he was brought back he can only die again if Spider-Man kills him (and I'd like for an explanation of how that works; does he regenerate (like Wolverine and several other characters) or pop up alive again later like a Highlander-type Immortal that `died' but didn't have their head cut off?). He's also pissed that he was brought back to life. (I'm wondering if the `Spider-Man has to kill him for him to die' thing only applies to Peter Parker or to his clones, too? Maybe Kaine could take him out.)
  17. The Dana Carvey as Bush was in response to SS asking me to answer and get it over with, since I didn't want to answer it. Learn to read, you twits.
  18. *Dana Carvey as George Bush* Not gonna do it! (Besides, I already PMed GoGo to confirm I had the right answer (I did ), and that's good enough for me. Plus I don't have another question to ask but I've got one heck of a question to ask if I ever win at wrestling trivia)
  19. Because of the crap Favre has pulled the last few seasons, I think most team sports should adopt some sort of rule (even its an unspoken one) regarding retirements. Maybe set it up so that if someone decides to retire because their heart isn't in it anymore or they don't think they can play anymore, then can change their mind ONCE; you come back then retire again, you're retired permanently. Or that if you're doing what Favre has been doing between seasons, you only have a set amount of time - say, up to about 2-3 days before the next draft - to decide. You don't make a decision by then, then you're either retired or sitting out a full season. I could see someone retiring for a good reason being allowed to change their mind and come back. For example, someone who has a dehabilitating illness that forces them to retire but it gets cured. Or someone who has to retire to take care of a family member and the problem gets sorted out. But Favre takes the cake.
  20. I think I know the answer, but I'm going to see if anyone else takes a guess first.
  21. The answer is NOT Martin Landau. I asked who the leader of the IMF was before Jim Phelps (Peter Graves). Martin Landau played Rollin Hand, who was the team's original master of disguise, not its leader. Leonard Nimoy more or less replaced him. I should have mentioned that the actor in question was only on the show for its first season. The answer is Steven Hill, better known as DA Adam Schiff on Law & Order from 1990 to 2000. His M:I character was named Dan Briggs. Now I'm going to ask a MUCH easier question, instead: Hugh Laurie plays the lead role of Dr. Gregory House on House MD, but what American show did his former comedy partner Steven Fry have a recurring role on for a while, and what was the name of his character? (Btw, this question should be a `You guess the show and get it wrong, please bitchslap yourself for me' level question. )
