think the Vikings were crazy to trade for Randy Moss to begin with. I think Moss gets to slide on a lot his crap that other players *cough*T.O.*cough* get called on because Moss is a better player. But some of those are prima donnas, while Moss is a plain, old fashioned asshole.

Sadly, I probably won't be picking this up until Christmas. My financial situation is in the toilet and likely won't be improving any time soon. Are there any situations in Universe or RTWM modes where you (the wrestler you're playing as, that is) get to pick the type of match you compete in? One thing I hated about the more recent games is that most of the time it let the opponent pick, or you had to win a match of some kind to get the right to pick.

I wish I didn't know who Chael Sonnen is.... Sonnen and Michael Bisping are two fighters I can't stand because of their mouths. Sonnen is full of shit and Bisping trash talks more than he should. So how long will Chris Leben get suspended for this time?

I figured the Reds would get beaten once I saw they'd be going up against the Phillies, but I am stunned they got swept. I knew Halliday would own them (didn't expect a no-hitter, though), but figured they'd win at least one game. My worst case scenario now is a Braves-Yankees World Series. If that happens, I'll be pulling for the Braves with a bad taste in my mouth. BUT, I won't be watching if its Braves-Yankees.

Which shows how messed up the BCS rankings are. An undefeated team that doesn't really play anyone worth noting (only played two ranked teams last year, in their opener and a bowl game) shouldn't even be top 5.

Its not great, but its not the worst spy show ever devised, either. That would be Girl From U.N.C.L.E. My favorite new drama so far is the new version of Hawaii 5-O. On the other hand, I can't wait for The Event to get cancelled. And I will be very surprised if Outsourced isn't given the axe, as it was a stupid premise for a show to begin with. ("Laugh at people who have stolen your jobs!") *edit* I'm just glad my cable has CBS free On Demand (unlike NBC, whose shows you have to pay for), because I keep forgetting to watch `____ My Dad Says'. Wish they had FOX shows on there, because I missed House this week.

Honestly, Seinfeld is one of the most overrated tv shows of all time. It was good, but not one of the greatest ever. Entertainment Weekly even did a special Top whatever # Comedies of All Time issue and had it ranked something like #2 or 3! Friends, however, you need to see just for the awesomeness that is Chandler Bing.

I *may* eventually go back to WoW (quit back in January and am playing Champions Online), but I don't think it'll be due to Cataclysm. (Got sick of raiding) I don't like the fact they're opening the Hunter class up to Humans and Forsaken, because I suspect it'll lead to bow users being screwed even more. (Right now, you pretty much have to be a hardcore raider to get good bows, while guns are easily as hell to come by, even without Engineered ones) And the thing with Garrosh taking over the Horde is something I think is a bad idea, because Garrosh is evil AND hot-headed. I'm hoping it eventually leads to either a Horde civil war, Thrall handing Garrosh his head and taking leadership back, or a third faction in the game that's led by Thrall.

Good, because Batista doing MMA is something I DO NOT want to see. Maybe if he was about 10-15 yrs younger and not injury prone.... But I'd like think that what really happened is he wanted to go to UFC, not Strikeforce, but they couldn't get a deal done:

That's the only way I could see it work. And you'd definitely have to have fighters from 3 different camps that aren't allied, so you have less of a chance of two fighters deciding to double team one or plan teamwork strategy before the fight. I actually think tag team MMA might work. Provided you used a ring and didn't allow double teaming, that is. But I wouldn't want to see it as anything other than an exhibition. Tag teaming in MMA would suck as a regular thing.

Griffin/Franklin I'm interested in. Carwin/Nelson, not so much. Someone over at DVDVR asked about the possibility of a triple-threat MMA match and is getting roasted for it (for obvious reasons). But someone pointed out the main reason it wouldn't work: If two fighters have submissions on the other fighter at the same time and he taps, who wins? (Though I'd love to see if it was a three way dance MMA fight and involved Tito Ortiz and 2 fighters who hate his guts.....) *edit* Forgot to ask: Is there still talk about Batista possibly doing MMA, or has that crap finally died down?

You can't replace George Carlin, but at another board there's been a discussion about this and the consensus seems to be that they should bring in Lewis Black.

Apparently MTV is going to be bringing back Punk'd. But.... Its going to be hosted by Justin Beiber. (Aston Kutcher is going to be involved as the executive producer)

BBC America aired the first episode of Law & Order: UK last night. I thought it was pretty good, except for two things: 1. Why a theme that doesn't sound anything like the other Law & Order themes? 2. The Director of CPS came off like a big dick. I've read that every episode is adapted from the original series. Hope they adapt/have adapted some of my favorite episodes.

Dr Cox is in Platoon as Dr Cox, albeit not as powerful. He was in Identity and Wall Street (avec moustache) as well. He's also in Wild Hogs as a gay police officer and in Any Given Sunday as a sports reporter.
