  1. Someone at another board speculated that they may try to go after Kevin Kolb. If they don't go after him or do but can't cut a deal (I'm betting its more likely he ends up with 49ers or Vikings) and decide to draft a QB instead, I just hope they don't pick Jake Locker. Kolb? Hmm. I don't think that could work out, I don't see him as someone who fills our needs. He's not bad at all, he's decent but I don't think he is what I would like for the Titans from this point on. As for Jake Locker: I haven't watched much of him to make an opinion, what's he like? accurate, big arm, fast-agile... how? Locker is a decent QB with a good arm, but he's had some accuracy problems.

  3. Hamill vs Rampage? Oh, hell yes! I like both fighters (Rampage is one of my top 3 favorites, along with Congo and Swick), so that's a win-win and should be a good fight.
  4. There's talk again about moving a team to Los Angeles, and a few organizations have been talked to including the Vikings. Instead of talking to a team with a huge following in their area (including nearby states without a team), the team they should be trying to lure to L.A. is the Jaguars.
  5. I may have to go and consult my autographed copy of The Amazing Colossal Episode Guide (suck it, bitches!) and then alter my list, but here it is: 1. Manos The Hands of Fate 2. Overdrawn At The Memory Bank 3. Mitchell 4. Mighty Jack 5. Gamera 6. Samson vs. The Vampire Women 7. Diabolik 8. Wild Rebels 9. Earth vs. The Spider 10.Santa Claus Conquers The Martians *edit* I forget who had Red Zone Cuba on their list, but that's actually one of my least favorites, due to the fact it had way too many jokes aimed directly at Coleman Francis rather than at the piece of shit film.
  6. Damn. And there goes my hopes they'd someday do a Harmonica Hero....
  7. I'm not sure if the female character has been explained properly, but if I remember right she first showed up on the villain version of the Titans that Deathstroke formed. As for the Riddler, he turned bad again during a storyarc in Batman while Bruce was still gone.
  8. THUNDER! THUNDER! THUNDERCATS......HO!! http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=30511 Surprisingly, of the re-designs, Lion-O looks the worst, I think.
  9. At Bragging Rights, Chavo Guerrero and CM Punk beat William Regal and Edge to become the new tag team champions. Punk pinned Regal (I was only controlling Chavo), and Edge never even got to tag in at all. At the Royal Rumble (the RR match won by Dolph Ziggler, incidentally), a heel John Cena (controlled by me) ended Shawn Michaels' fairly lengthy run as champion (He'd been champion for at least 6 months), using a sneak attack from behind followed by an Attitude Adjustment for the win.
  10. I like Anne Hathaway, but I just don't think she's a good choice to play Catwoman. I actually think she'd be a better choice for Poison Ivy or even Rachel Dawes if they hadn't killed her off in TDK. Tom Hardy is a pretty decent choice for Bane, though.
  11. Apparently they're doing a live Coco Cam show on the Team Coco website every Friday at 2pm Eastern. They have highlights on the website if you missed it, and full episode on their Livestream page.
  12. This week's Saturday Night Live sucked donkey balls, despite Gwyneth Paltrow being the guest host. Only a couple of sketches were even funny (and one of them only really chuckle-worthy). BUT....the digital short guest starring Anderson Cooper and the legend himself, was awesome. Definitely recommend looking for it.
  13. To be fair, Fisher was a few yards/one play away from winning a Super Bowl. There have been a few seasons where the Titans didn't do too good due to a combinations of the QBs sucking and players being injured, but that still doesn't justify Jeff Fisher still being the head coach.
  14. The Titans got rid of/are getting rid of Vince Young, which is a good thing. I think he can be declared a bust, because while he's a decent QB he's usually benched either due to injuries or mental issues. That's fine if you're a designated backup QB and getting paid backup money, but NOT when you're supposed to be the starter. Unfortunately, they're not getting rid of Jeff Fisher, apparently. I can kind of see giving Fisher one more year, but seriously, unless they make (or just miss making) the playoffs next year, it'll be time for him to go. Next year I think the Redskins will cut their own throats. McNabb isn't the only one to blame for Washington's problems. For one thing, they need to throw to Cooley a lot more - especially when in scoring positions - and Kyle Shanahan probably wouldn't be able to get a job in the NFL without father unless he had damning blackmail material.
  15. Agreed. Was it just me, or did the Kevin Spacey bust look like a cross between Kevin Spacey and Lavender Hill Mob era Alec Guinness?
  16. Well, I'm 0-2 and 1-1 for tonight's games. 0-2 on picks, 1-1 on teams I wanted to win. (Was pulling for the Seahawks to beat the Saints) However, the Seahawks making the playoffs in the first place in an example of what I hate about team sports with divisions. I don't think its fair that a team makes the playoffs because they're the best team out of a handful of losers when there are teams with better records who don't get in. Same thing happened in baseball shortly after they switched to their current division system, when the entire AL West was a pile of suck and every team had losing records. Tomorrow I'm expecting the Ravens and Eagles to win. Which will suck bigtime if true, since I'll be pulling for the Packers and Chiefs. (But will be fine if the Ravens win. I'm mainly pulling for the Chiefs due to Eric Berry being on the team) Colts need to re-tool their D bigtime next season, I think.
  17. In some ways it is, but it isn't. The Hustle crew are all con artists and they mostly work long cons, but most of the time rather than helping people they con people who pretty much deserve it. (ie, greedy bastards who only care about themselves) The Leverage crew are pretty much reformed criminals (aside from Nathan), while the Hustle crew aren't. If I remember right, the Hustle crew keep the loot from the con themselves, or donate part of it to charity. The Leverage crew got rich off their first or second mission together, so they don't need to keep any loot and generally do what they do to help people. (Think of them as The A-Team but without getting paid)
  18. The first four seasons of Hustle aired in the U.S. on AMC, which I believe actually co-produced season three or four. I haven't seen any episodes after those at all. And with Jamie Murray and Marc Warren no longer being on the show, I'm not sure I'd want to, anyway. (I've seen Jamie Murray in a few other things, most noticably an episode of NCIS where she played an American and several episodes of Warehouse 13) I was thinking at one point that a Leverage/Hustle crossover would be interesting, but it probably wouldn't work. Because the Hustle crew are actually crooks and work long cons, while the Leverage crew help people and are specialists, not all con artists. The Leverage crew would own them if they went up against each other, and I can't see any good reason for them to team up, unless it was for the Leverage crew to come in and pull their fat out of the fire or joining forces to take down some big bad.
  19. Aparently David Tennant is now engaged to Georgia Moffat, according to some reports. I'll give you a minute to process this: The actor who played the 10th Doctor is now engaged to the actress who played his daughter and the actor who played the 5th Doctor will be his father-in-law when they get married.
  20. Actually, its what non-amateur competitive eaters put their food in while competing.
  21. I've only seen one turn during a tag team match, and it was how R-Truth and Morrison broke up. They'd been losing quite a few tag matches, and I was controlling the team facing them in a match (been a while, so I don't even remember who I was playing as). At one point, R-Truth goes to tag in Morrison, only for Morrison to deck him, leave the ring apron and walk back up the ramp. Funny thing is, Morrison didn't turn heel, and him and R-Truth eventually became a tag team again a few years later (after Morrison was in a tag team with one of my CAWs that broke up). And I think the only way face turns can be done in Universe mode is if they're done manually. Had one match with a CAW for #1 contendership for the U.S. title against Koslov. Got the dreaded attack from behind that empties the victim's momentum meter and gives the attacker a finisher. Manage to get up, only for Koslov to whip him into the ropes and hit the finisher despite me tapping R2 like a maniac and pin for the win. I let the decision stand instead of restarting, but got revenge eventually. I booked Koslov in an Extreme Rules match against my CAW about a month and a half later and pretty much destroyed him. I've learned to never let the A.I. control the tag team partner(s) during important regular tag matches, because they seem to forget pinfalls exist and won't hit finishers or specials when they're able to half the time. Did one tag match using two CAWs, and the one I wasn't controlling kept doing running elbow drops whenever an opponent was down. I think he did one, maybe two, ground grapples the entire match!
  22. Today is Stan Lee's 88th birthday, so I've got just three words for ya..... EXCELSIOR! `NUFF SAID!
  23. Singletary being fired almost makes me hope the 49ers go 0-for next season. The 49ers under Singletary have stunk because of a combination of some mediocre players on the roster, good players underperforming, injuries and bad luck. They should have just forfeited the rest of the season when Frank Gore got hurt.
  24. Picked up Dragon Age Origins for $14.99, but its taking a long time to download. I'd estimate around 5 hours, give or take 10 to 15 minutes.
