Edward Furlong is the main reason I hated that one. But I agree with you about David Boreanaz, somewhat. Salvation sucked donkey dong, but Eric Mabius made a better Crow than Furlong.

I actually liked the tv series, but the sequels sucked. Marc Dacascos, who played Eric in the tv series, is the Chairman of Kitchen Stadium on Iron Chef America and the main bad guy on the new version of Hawaii 5-0. So at least the Crow didn't wreck his career. *edit, because I didn't see his post in time to respond* Yes, Michael, James O'Barr did The Crow as a way of coping with his fiancee's death after she was killed by a drunk driver.....but three years after it happened. He also got part of the idea for the story after reading a newspaper article about a murder over a cheap engagement or wedding ring. I forget which type it was. The Crow tv series did have some problems, though. As was already said, it felt rushed.

There are certain movies that I don't want to see remade. The Crow is one of them. And Bradley Cooper is not a good choice to play Eric. But he's a better choice than frickin' Marky Mark was.

My theory about ME3 (don't read if you haven't played ME2 all the way through!):

I'm guessing James Vega is the character who will be the hero of ME3 if Shepard died in ME2, but will still be worked into the game somehow if Shepard is still alive.

One thing I've heard about ME3 I don't like if true is that the characters introduced in it will be in ME3 in some way if they survived, but not all of them will be playable. The good news is Liara and whichever character from your team in ME1 survived (Kadain or Ash) will be. No word on Wrex, though, but it wouldn't really make sense for him to be.

McCarver probably won't let it go because he was a catcher when he played. But I do think they need to change the rules, because catchers blocking the plate has too much of a chance of someone getting injured. Let catchers straddle the plate the way fielders are allowed to do with the bases, but make blocking it outright interference. Some of my favorite baseball moments when I was a kid involved catchers blocking the plate. (Look up footage of catchers trying that against Pete Rose, for example) But its just not worth the risk.

I do like Kristen Wiig, but she's better on SNL when she's playing a character that isn't the focus of the skit or doing roles outside SNL. Gilly sucked and that character she's done on the news segments who is extremely nervous should have been a `one and done' character. I remember one episode that Christopher Walken guest hosted and the skit she was in with him where she played a character getting over-excited about throwing a surprise party was pretty awful. When you make Christopher Walken less entertaining, you've really accomplished something. She was especially great as Dr. Pat on the Joe Schmo Show. Was actually my favorite character in that.

Hope you do what I do when watching SNL: change the channel whenever a skit revolves around Kristen Wiig. Possibly the least funny female cast member in SNL history.

Funny thing is, the local minor league team here moved to another county almost a decade ago. When they were here they were a Blue Jays farm team for over two decades, White Sox for a long time before that (Tony LaRussa actually managed them for a while when they were a White Sox farm team). But in the time since they've moved they've been Blue Jays, Cardinals, Diamondbacks and Cubs.

Yeah! Mechwarrior 2 was awesome. It was actually better than 3, I thought.

Games with cheap bosses. Especially fighting games. Jinpachi in Tekken 5 and almost every MK franchise boss come to mind. Moloch, the midgame boss in MK Deadly Alliance was especially a pain. Jinpachi may just be the cheapest ass boss ever in a fighting game. When I had MK: DA (traded it in for store credit at Gamestop eventually), I could only beat Moloch with 3 characters, and with two of them I had to spam the same attack over and over again rather than using combos. (Then again the PS2 is a shitty platform for doing fighting games, unless you're willing to drop $100+ on a fighting stick controller, and I'm not) Also hate games with escort/bodyguard missions where you have to protect an NPC. Unfortunately, some MMOs even have those.

I like minor league ball because its more...intimate, I guess....than major league ball. That is, its easier to get good seats at minor league games and you're generally closer to the players when they're at bat if you get seats behind home plate. Hope you picked up a program.

So is Doctor Who delayed in the U.K. next week, too? Or just here? BBC America is doing a Doctor Who marathon next week but not showing the next episode until June 4th. And I saw the ending coming a mile away. I think I've seen the actress playing Jennifer somewhere before, though I am not sure where. But she's cute.

I read about that yesterday and was absolutely gutted. It won't be the same. Season 8 should definitely be the final season. Dammit. Totally agree about the part I bolded.

If they make it to the finals, I hope they turn out to be the basketball version of the 1990 Oakland A's: Overhyped and overrated, and the other team busts out the brooms.

Try Infiltrator. Its fun as heck. Only class I've played ME2 all the way through twice with (that is, two different characters, not repeating with the same one).

Benj, don't bet on it. The Council are actually more useless in 2 than they were in 1 if you saved them, so I don't see why they'd be of much help in 3. Besides:

Those are top of my head, not sure what others will play a huge role. You made pretty good decisions, in my opinion. I hope we get a ME Universe MMO after the series is over. I'd definitely play a Turian.

Benj: One thing I've heard about 3 that I like is that they're bringing weapon customization back, but you won't have an inventory system that can get full easily like it could in 1.
