  1. Young And In The Way - I Am Not What I Am Crusty black metal band form the US who will literally shit rape your brain. Fantastic band for fans of Wolves in the Throne Roome, Nachtmystium and crust punk.
  2. I don't really work for fun anymore, don't have the time, but I do create posters for a UK wrestling company based in the Northwest, also done a complete rebrand of their logo and website. Check them out at: Grand Pro Wrestling Anyway here's a few bits:
  3. Perhaps he was listening to Warpath?

  4. Not him, he'd have at least moonwalked across.
  5. Well, it's been and gone, and here's my gigging report... I've just worked through who I saw, managed to fit in 37 bands over the 3 days, and mainly all bands I wanted to see, which is crazy. Also probably the best festival I've ever been too both musically and camping atmosphere wise. FRIDAY Saint Vitus - Really awesome band to end the first day, wasn't sure about putting them on so late though. Great set though. Heaven And Hell - Good stuff, really liking their new album. Repulsion - Fantastic, great set. Down - Pretty good, seen them 4 times already, Phil seemed a bit out of it. Pig Destroyer - They were ok, only caught first 4 songs then watched Down. Entombed - Immense live, thoroughly enjoyed em. Torche - Great band, hopes where high and they delivered. Misery Index - Best time I've seen them live, which is my 3rd, lpayed 'The Arbiter' too which was great. Soilent Green - One of the best live bands of the whole festival, front row center for it too, absolutely unreal. Destroyer 666 - Kicked ass as usual. Melechesh - Never heard them before, impressed by em. SATURDAY Cro-Mags - Kicked it old school, really enjoyed their stuff. Sacred Reich - Thrashed my face off, and opened with The American Way, awesome! Vision of Disorder - Awesome, if only Bloodsimple was this good. Enslaved - Did the business once again, fantastic set. Gojira - Once again proved they're amazing and only gonna get bigger. Immolation - Started watching Amebix, realised it was basically a shit cover band, got to these to see the last 4 songs, sounded great. Amebix - See Immolation Soulfly - Meh, nothing fantastic, same as Cavalera Conspiracy at Download last year. Devildriver - Seen them a few times, good middle of the road band to watch. Skinless - Great gig, and amusing zombie wall of death. All Shall Perish - Good gig for em, matched the other shows I've seen them at. The new guitarist slays, equally as good as Chris Storie. Vader - Brutal is all I can say to explain them. Loved them playing 'Wings' Gama Bomb - Good bit of thrash to start the day. SUNDAY Manowar - Possibly the greatest metal show I've seen next to Kiss, mainly for the cheese, the songs and the overall show. Although very annoyed at the wasting 20 minutes with some idiotic fan from the crowd who was clearly a plant. Great cheesy show though, just wish they'd played Black Wind, Fire & Steel! Amon Amarth - Great band to headline the big tent, about 20-30 crazy fools climbing up the metal columns to watch them, all the way upto the tent roof. Great atmosphere with the viking horns. Electric Wizard - Another band I recently saw in Manchester, the tent really helped the sound, and they were awesome, heavy as hell! Mastodon - UGH! So dissapointed I saw them in manchester just a week ago and they blew me away. It's bad when a band you love sounds bad. The new stuff does not play live well outside, and on the whole, they were just a bit messy for the festival, joint vocals always seemed out too. Cathedral - Saw the first 3 tracks, sounded good. Black Dahlia Murder - Tight as hell, sounded great, even whilst I was falling asleep outside the tent. Napalm Death - Loud and intense, loved it! Orange Goblin - Listened outside the tent, sounded great. Pestilence - Caught the last 4 songs, great to finally see them back together, the new stuff is EVIL! Wolves in the Throne Room - One of the bands of the festival, finally got to see them, absolutely amazing. Keep of Kalessin - Fair decent black metal. Despised Icon - Not my bag personally, sat outside the tent, sounded tight. Aborted - Wasn't too hot on the new album, but it plays better live, finished on Dead Wreckoning which was cool. I think overall top 5 would have to be: 1. Soilent Green 2. Manowar 3. Wolves in the Throne Room 4. Electric Wizard 5. Gojira
  6. Spoiler: Click here to viewWhy do I have the strong feeling that REBEL is Micah? It makes sense as the computers got hacked in record time, he can commmunicate with anyones phone, he can interact with all the governments security stuff to know when people are after people, etc.
  7. I'm surprised they havent done what a lot of European festivals do now and just do it via e-ticket. Just print it out and off you go.
  8. I just tried working out who I want to see, never in a festivals history have I wanted to see 41 BANDS!! Obviously there's going to be clashes, but here's my first drafts... down heaven & hell voivod eyehategod soilent green entombed asphyx misery index destroyer 666 pig destroyer kylesa nachtmystium machine head soulfly gojira killing joke kmfdm amebix gama bomb sacred reich enslaved immolation skinless vader terror all shall perish manowar europe suicidal tendencies mastodon destruction amon amarth cathedral napalm death pestilence aborted brutal truth electric wizard orange goblin black dahlia murder wolves in the throne room
  9. So the final bands just got confirmed, and I'm over the moon that Mastodon confirmed. But yeh, this is possibly the greatest festival line up I've seen for me personally. There's 46 bands I want to see, it's ridiculous.
  10. I reckon Blink 182 will headline one of the days. Just a feeling.
  11. I'm just bitter it isn't THE Faith No More, ala Jim Martin, but they all hate him, so it's never going to happen.
  12. From what I've just looked at on the Download site, they aren't doing day tickets yet, or at all if weekend ticket sales are good enough.
  13. Indeed, decided against a day ticket though, can't afford the £100+ I'd spend on a ticket, travel, food and drink, etc. Especially when I fly to Hellfest the week after. EDIT: And yes, the 3rd headliner is Faith No More.
  14. I'm the vocalist. Sorry about the recordings as well.... resting up, practising and doing vocal warm ups make me sound shit hot and put all your "not your best performance" voices to shame. Just kidding.
  15. I may as well throw my hat in the ring. Machiavellian Machiavellian is our name, extreme metal our game. Primarily death metal but our style ebbs and flows from sludge to thrash, to technical death, to doom/stoner. We've been going just over 3 years played with a few bands, got signed to Canadian label Year of the Sun Records last February, and had a bit of a Chinese Democracy with our debut EP with them, it's been delayed and finally gets released on April 21st via them in Canada. The CD is also being released in the UK by Glasstone Records and our US distributor is meant to be The End Records, but I believe Year of the Sun are moving to Universal in the next month or so. Erm, we did a video for a song of the EP which can be found here: Gigging wise, we haven't gigged since Halloween as we're finishing off our debut album which will be recorded in late August we hope. But we're back gigging next weekend, got a lovely support slot on a day festival with Akercocke in Sunderland in April and we've got our first UK tour in May with The Arusha Accord & Random Conflict which should be fun. Also just sorting a last 2009 tour with Trigger The Bloodshed which should be tip top
  16. Glastonbury sold out without a single act being announced. That's 40 years of history though, and to be fair, it is 'THE' UK festival. And I'm kinda put off by FNM, as much as I love em, there's gonna be no Jim Martin! It's just not the same without the two of them together
  17. Or me I have a strong feeling Blink might be the headliners now after what they've mentioned about playing a 'big event' in the summer. Faith No More will most likely play Sonisphere as it tours Europe, which is kinda what they wanted to make it worth their while.
  18. Nowhere near big enough to headline Download lol.
  19. I have a strong feeling they've just venom'ed him and butchered the originally story for mainstream fans. The main film audience have less of a clue who Deadpool is than Venom, so they can reinvent him as some healing bitch.
  20. Ah the ol' Academy Unsigned thing, is it still pay to play?
  21. It don't think it's a possible spoiler.... Spoiler: Click here to viewHe's in the official trailer for a second or two doing a spinning kick on Wolverine. I hope he disfigures more at the end and becomes the proper deadpool, otherwise this is just crap.
  22. I got their album Incredibad yesterday, pure gold. Believe me when I say... I fucked a mermaid!!
  23. I just remembered but can't find a decent photo. Sarah Jessica Parker in Flight of the Navigator. It was released in '86, so I was 2, but I saw it when I was about 9 or 10, and fell for her hard. Ah the rebellious teen girls.
