I'd expect the games to be priced around $80 in the US. EDIT: Anyway, I'll probably pick one up on release, if not I'll get one around February/March time. I haven't been that impressed with it so far but hopefully Sony will come through and surprise me. I wasn't that impressed with the build up for the 360, but I got one on release day and that's impressed the hell out of me so hopefully the PS3 can do the same.

Asda & Woolworths both seel games for £39.99. I've got all my games for the 360 online though for £39.99 as well. The PS3 games I've seen on Amazon are priced at £49.99 which means they'll probably be £59.99 in Game etc which equals $94 to $113.

I've had it pre-ordered for about a month for the 360 now. I'm looking forward to the Superstar mode this year. Didn't get to use it last year seeing as the 360 version didn't have it. Hopefully EA manage to get the patch up for the fatigue glitch on the 360 version within a week of release.

Yeah it saves the options when you change it. Not sure about changing it before starting the World Cup though although I do recall changing it before starting it, could be my mind playing tricks on me.

IIRC it comes up before you start a match/tournament. It should come up with a window with some square boxes above another row of square boxes which you have to use the trigger buttons to go through all the different options (difficulty, match length, which ball etc). It can be pretty easy to miss. I don't think there's just a place you can access to change the options from the main menu which is gay. I'll check it when I get home if you can't find it.

Good point. Bolton's squad size has been cut alot and very few transfers in. Wigan's main signing has been Heskey for 5m. That's not a good sign.

Seems as though Liverpool is going to beat Newcastle to Dirk Kuyt. The BBC website is reporting Liverpool have agreed a fee for the striker. They don't have a full report up at the moment though.

I always felt Carrick was best when he held back, having every play go through him. He's one of the best at passing from the back and I think he's suited more to that role than pushing forward more often than not.

Why take Carrick out of his best role as a holding midfielder though to accomodate Hargreaves?

Anyone see the news in The Sun this morning? Apparently Inter have asked for £10 million for Obafemi Martins but Newcastle want the price to be lowered because they're looking into the fact that he may not be 21 and that he could actually be 27 because it's said he played with Celestine Babayaro in the junior team for Nigeria or something.

It's time to recall Walcott. I wouldn't mind seeing Beattie back in the squad but it'll probably be his new strike partner Andy Johnson. Is Vassell fit? I wouldn't mind seeing him back in the squad either.

Must just be my experience with it, I used to have it wired pretty much 40 to 50% of the time I was using it. I think it used to stop charging itself when it was left alone. Either way I much prefer the quick charge kit, even if I was only wired for 10% of the time.

What you need for the rechargeable pack for the 360 is the:- Quick Charge Kit which takes about 15 minutes to recharge the pack and is £14.99 and you'll probably also need a spare rechargeable battery to use whilst recharging the other. Here which is £8.99. Or you could get the play & charge kit which is £12.99 but your controller will probably end up being wired for most of the time you use it.

Also, there will probably be a percentage due of whatever Arsenal get for Reyes due to Sevilla as I don't see Sevilla having let him go without asking for at least 10% of his next transfer fee on top.

Did Reyes actually end up costing £20 million. I know the deal was worth a potential £20 million over time based on appearances etc. which probably won't get paid now.

You should get the headset free with the premium version. EDIT: Unless you're after the new wireless one, which I think is included now in the premium version anyway.

You can use the controller to operate DVD's so you don't need the remote. Althouhg I got the remote free in the premium version of the console.

1) Haven't tried it but since we're now getting to the second gen of 360 games they should look just as good on a normal TV. 2) If you're hooked up to the internet it'll download the names for the tracks, album and artist. 3) Top three games coming out - Gears of War, Mass Effect & Madden 07 Games already out - Call of Duty 2, Oblivion & GRAW Just check IGN or Gamespot for games already out, coming out.

I don't think it's been confirmed as yet. Last I heard it was scheduled for sometime around February/March 07.
