  1. 1. Seinfeld 2. Breaking Bad 3. The Office (US) 4. The Walking Dead 5. Lost 6. Friends 7. King of Queens 8. Boy Meets World 9. 30 Rock 10. Saved by the Bell
  2. I picked out all the upsets today besides the two 2/15s and didn't have Kansas or Mizzou in my Sweet Sixteen. Aside from Wichita State ruining my Final Four already, I have one heck of a solid bracket this year so far.
  3. Just watched the intro with the Spanish song. Crazy funny, actually. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4Bu8rjGLXo&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  4. Just watched a video on ESPN that said the 49ers might be a sleeper in the Manning race. Would be interesting to see Manning coached by his replacements college coach.
  5. NBA: Michael Jordan (duh) NFL: Emmitt Smith MLB: Pudge Rodriguez PGA: Tiger Woods MMA: Urijah Faber
  6. The game looks awesome already, but I'm not sure I'm a fan of buying weekly episodes in order to continue playing it.
  7. This has been a terrible set of games for me. West Virginia lost, Wichita State lost and Baylor is holding on for dear life. Perry Jones III with TWO points? Ridiculous. I haven't seen someone so passive since LeBron in the NBA Finals.
  8. West Virginia is on a mission to screw up my perfect day.
  9. Blazers waive Greg Oden. They aren't messing around with a rebuilding project.
  10. So I started watching this recently, and I'm only to the first few episodes in season two, but this show is awesome. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but I have been blown away. On the show's wiki it says that season five was supposed to start in January '12, but I can't find an episode list. Does anyone else watch this show?
  11. I took Syracuse out of my Elite Eight once Melo was rules ineligible. It looks like Kansas State will have a legitimate shot to knock them off this weekend.
  12. Perfect bracket! Can I retire right now?
  13. Rumors are Marcus Camby to Houston and Stephen Jackson to San Antonio for Richard Jefferson. The Camby deal has Thabeet and Flynn moving to Portland. San Antonio is also sending a first round pick to Golden State.
  14. Has there ever been a Duke-UNC national championship game? I can't remember them ever even meeting in the tournament at all. I did a couple google searches but couldn't find anything.
  15. Not to spoil the Knicks' parade, but the Blazers have been terrible lately and lost seven of their last nine.
  16. NFL is quickly moving to a two back league. Those guys take a pounding and can't last a whole season anymore. Hillis-Charles will be the best 1-2 combo I can think of, off the top of my head. Maybe Houston can argue, but not many other teams.
  17. Carr to Dallas is official. Huge improvement already after cutting Newman.
  18. So Melo has tried to ruin two franchises so far. Luckily for the Knicks, the Nuggets have been better off without him. Maybe they should trade him to the Nets...
  19. If the rumours of the Rams wanting to trade down again are true, I can see the Jags picking up Blackmon in the draft, leaving the Jags with: Blackmon, Robinson, Thomas. Hopefully Marcedes Lewis will be the player he was in 2010 and not 2011. I was going to say "Blackmon isn't dropping to 6 and definitely not 7" but with the Bucs signing Vincent Jackson and the Browns being the type of team who will often pick that unexciting anchor instead of a thrilling star it's plausible he drops to 6. I think the Rams take him unless they decide to trade down a spot, and get another 2nd rounder as a return. At least your Jags didn't overpay for a WR... yet. The Jackson contract is bad, but a risk kinda worth taking. The Garcon contract continues to lower the bar for a once-proud organization. Excited to see what Brandon Lloyd gets. As a Ravens fan I have some worries that in the CB-thin NFL a team is going to come in and try and take Webb. He's emerged as one of the best CBs in the AFC this past season and teams are desperate for someone to cover receivers. The return for him would be nice, but this is a team that I'd like to see win now and worry about the future when it comes. Oh and would it be possible that the Marshall trade was because Manning didn't want to play with a basketcase like him and the Fins will instead go after the few quality WRs left in the free agent pool? Anybody else think this is plausible? I saw it as the end of a Manning pursuit. But who knows, this is the deepest WR and QB free agency/draft class pool I can remember in a while.
  20. I think the trade frees up more room for Steph Curry, who will now proceed to hurt his ankle again. It definitely gives the Warriors more all around depth as opposed to just an explosive backcourt. Plus, Stephen Jackson is a pretty good offensive weapon as well as a stout defender.
  21. IMO, it should be Chris Paul if the season ended today. He's taken a lottery team to the top of the standings and stayed (somewhat) healthy. Steve Nash winning two MVP awards was kinda de-facto. It was before LeBron was really established and if I remember correctly, it was during Kobe's temper tantrum years. There wasn't really anyone else those two years that deserved it more than Nash. He led the Suns to the upper echelon of the league while posting rediculous assist numbers and always hitting clutch shots.
  22. I believe he would have gotten consideration. To me, an MVP isn't necessarily the best statistical player in the league. It's who makes the biggest difference, and last year Kevin Love had the Wolves among the leagues worst. With Rubio they are fighting for a playoff appearance for the first time since trading Kevin Garnett. I will never agree with having LeBron as the MVP as long as he has two other All Stars running with him. When he played for Cleveland, obviously he was the MVP. With the Heat, however, they would still be among the league's elite if they started Battier for James and facilitated the offense between Wade and Bosh.
  23. I think Rubio would have got MVP consideration if the Wolves finished in the top five in the West. Although everyone knew LeBron or Chris Paul would win the award before the season even tipped off.
  24. What are the chances U-Conn can win the game against Syracuse tomorrow? If they can win a fourteenth straight, I'm picking them to win the Big East tourney again.
  25. Awesome game between U-Conn and West Virginia. Too bad whoever wins is gonna get killed by Syracuse.
