Yeah, I did a replay of IX last year, and it holds up as my favourite Final Fantasy. The story gets a bit wobbly towards the end, but fuck it, that's the charm of all Final Fantasies, right? Two acts of incredible socio-political drama with deep lore and heart-wrenching details and a final act which throws caution to the wind, forgets everything that came before it and forces you to fight God for some reason.

I'm still early on, having just got to Lostwing, but I'm digging it. It's giving me major FFXII vibes in its world and lore, and as the premier FFXII apologist, that's a-okay with me.

I am baffled that you haven't found Hestu yet. He's like, right there. Absolute madness. I haven't had a chance to play the last few days, I tried to do some depths stuff again and just got frustrated. I think that's a leave until much later job for me. I'm torn between tackling a bunch of the side quests I've got or doing the next regional phenomena. This game is an embarrassment of riches and I keep getting decision paralysis whenever I want to start something.

Yeah, I played about 5 minutes of the demo and realised if I played more than the next week if not playing it is gonna suck. God damn it is pretty tho.

I've done enough of the depths quest to unlock But then I've avoided it. I've got a bunch of brightbloom seeds, I just hate wandering ten feet and being in total darkness. I fell down a massive hole last night on my way to one of the towers and ended up facing off with a and that was rad, but also terrifying because it was dark. I'm just thinking it's time to do some exploring down there as I'm two regional phenomena down and I wanna mix things up a bit before I go do the next one.

Any advice on those of you who've explored the depths in TOTK? I've only popped down a couple times but always nope out pretty quickly but I feel like I wanna take a better look down there.

Yeah, everyone I know has done something totally different to me, and everyone has found something I haven't and vice versa. I'm about to start the second regional phenomena, and then I think it's time to have a proper explore of the depths and sky islands because I've barely done either. I keep marking korok seeds to go back to later too, but then I get sidetracked by wanting to climb up big things. Absolutely wonderful game.

Nope, that guy's real, he's been on Dark Elevation loads. I think Matt Hardy won his contract or something.

Think I accidentally walked into the final dungeon. Noped out pretty quickly. Also walked into a dragon. Didn't get the opportunity to nope out of that one because they did all the noping for me.

I helped a bunch of dudes in their pants come to the realisation that their strength came from within them all along. Five stars. No notes.

It's concerning that my prevalent memory of Red Dead Online is the same as my GTA4 one, only replace 'helicopter' with 'stage coach' and 'pilot' with 'horses'. Fuck, maybe I'm the asshole.

Everyone bundling into a helicopter and then shooting the pilot was funny the first time and the five hundredth time.

I'm loving it, it's fixed a lot of the issues I had with Fallen Order and the openness of the world is incredible. I'm still early on, but it's safe to say this is the Star Wars game I've been dreaming of for years. I will caveat by saying it currently has one of the worst 'performance' modes I've ever played, and really struggles to maintain its frame rate. Still, it hasn't dampened my enjoyment at all, and I'm happy to keep playing until it gets patched.

Yep, loving it. Still very early on in chapter 3 as I've not been about the last couple days, but I already know I'm going to adore it. As I told you the other day, I actually prefer 3 over 2, which I know is sacrilege as far as RE fans are considered, but I prefer action-heavy horror over horror-heavy action if that makes sense. I can already tell this is very much an action game first, and that's alright by me. Also @apsham, when I walked into the graveyard at the start of chapter 3 I was convinced I was about to fight Father Gascoigne. So that's extra points from me.

Oh shit. In that case I might need to buy it now. I wanna kick apshams butt.

Final question, is it cross play? Because I wanna beat you up.

Sold! I think I'm going to wait for a sale either way. RE4 and Jedi Survivor are both coming in the next few weeks, so they'll tide me over until WWE starts going on sale.

I have platinumed Resident Evil 2. I hope Niner is proud of me.

Second update! I have finished both hardcore modes and got an S on both of them. They were scary, I didn't like them one bit. All that's left for the platinum is the 4th Survivor, which I'll knock out tonight, then I'll just impatiently stare at the pre-load of RE4 until Friday.

In MyFaction, is it still mostly just 4v4 matches? That was perhaps my favourite mode last year, but I hated how everything was 4v4.
