  1. Was able to hop in way early in the morning, should have finished that damn race while the server was working for me. Now I'm stuck in the same place as so many others.
  2. I'll be hitting up Online in the afternoon. Likely early evening.
  3. Woo! Finished the main storyline! Amazing mission and just a lot of fun.
  4. And for my favorite rampage of all time in GTA...
  5. Robbed my first armored truck! It wasn't particularly exciting as I shot the guards who were trying to load the money into the truck. Jumped some fences to escape the two star wanted level and walked away with my ill gotten cash. All robberies been the same for everyone? Or different circumstances/rewards?
  6. Holy hell! I was just driving in the area around Grove Street...and I met a familiar face during a random event! Resulted in a 2 star wanted level chase, a new contact for heists and one grand cash!
  7. So I went down to the gas station closest to Franklin's house. Figured it was time for my first robbery. I pull a gun on the guy and he fills a bag with cash, no problems. I shoot the other cash register next to him because I'd heard you can get extra paper. Upon firing the shot, 5-6 gangsters in front of the gas station pull guns on me! Ironically, this is the best thing that could have happened. Two cop cars had pulled up and started a shootout with them in front of the pumps! With both sides' attention gone, I dashed to the side and over some fences and hid behind a house while a damn riot erupted not but a block away. Eventually the 2 star wanted level faded and I had a lil' extra paper in my pocket. Might have to do that again...
  8. I've essentially given up story missions for now in favor of golf and exploration.
  9. So after spending an extended period of time at my local Ammu-Nation firing off a minigun,Franklin's shooting stat is maxed. Scouring the map for money making opportunities and missions next!
  10. Installing now. Gotta make sure I redeem my collector's edition goodies before I begin play though.
  11. Sadly, my early morning wake up won't allow me to attend the local midnight release for the game. On the bright side, I can still pick it up at 10am so it's not all bad.
  12. Recently plunked down some cash for the Collector's Edition on 360. Up for joining any fellow EWB members in a badass crime spree online!
  13. So I gave in and put down my reserve for the XBox One. Any suggestions on which game(s) to get with it? I was thinking Dead Rising 3.
  14. Ended up buying WAY more games than I should have, but the prices were too good to pass up! Was a great sale.
  15. Despite having no knowledge of soccer, I've enjoyed the vast majority of sports management games. Thinking of getting Football manager 2013. What with all the EWB love for it. Good prices too.
  16. So I caved and bought the Alan Wake franchise, as well as Serious Sam 3. DAMN YOU STEAM!
  17. I surrendered and bought Castle Crashers, Dishonored and two of it's DLC's. Might get Hitman Absolution since it's got a great deal going too.
  18. Steam's gonna take every dime I have. Ended up buying most of the available Y's series games.
  19. Terrible. Gandolfini was utterly amazing in Sopranos and the acting world is poorer for his death.
  20. Y'know, despite all the dickery Microsoft presented alongside XBox One...I was gonna buy it. Still looks like an easy bet as far as the games go. The 360 has been good to me despite getting on board late and I figured One should be the same after some adjustment. Then Sony blew me away with the PS4. Will likely be my first day one console purchase/reserve ever. *Sniff* I'm comin' home!
  21. Is that...childlike wonder I feel? *Sniff* Didn't think I had that anymore.
  22. Enjoyed SR2 the most. Sure there was ridiculousness in it, but it was also serious in the right ways, in the right moments. Storyline actually mattered y'know? SR3 got the controls right, and I enjoyed the combat, but the story felt like a parody.
  23. Tony Stark was able to build this in a cave! With a box of scraps!

  24. Sooo...bought the Citadel DLC. So very, very worth it. I'm a big fan of Bioware, mostly of their ability to make such endearing characters. And get those characters you shall. A new hub, minigames, collectables....and of course a kickass mission with lots of great dialog from your favorites. For all the upheaval over the ending and whatnot, this absolutely felt like a love letter from Bioware to the fans. Feels a bit fan servicey (That a thing?) but I loved it. Oh, details you ask? Just...go get this. Combat isn't groundbreaking but it's a wonderful piece of DLC. Glad I bought it. It's a fitting final meeting with your squad mates and a great way to end the Shepard trilogy.
