Blackburn 2-0 WBA A few dodgy refereeing decisions in the game, but one of the Blackburn lads scored a cracker, don't know his name but he's only a youngster. Blackburn up to 7th now with that win, WBA have lost 6 of the last 7 and are in 15th.

Cleverley is decent though, I see him in the first team squad at United next season. A couple other youngsters at United are midfielders too, Ravel Morrison and Jack Barmby, big things are predicted for both. Morrison is 17 and played a couple minutes for the first team earlier in the season in the Carling Cup but alot of things have been said about his attitude. Barmby is only 16 I think but is very highly thought of, we got him from Hull when he was 14, he is Nick Barmby's son. If all is promised these two could break into the first team within the next couple of seasons.

I predicted United 5-0 yesterday and Darren Bent to score first goal for Villa but I decided not to have a bet for once I would have been a good few quid up. Think United 5-0 was about 25-1 and Bent was about 5 or 6/1 first goal, I would have had a tenna on each usually. It's a mugs game betting!

England lost again 214 all out just isn't good enough really, Australia are 3-0 now with 4 to play.

I'd second that. But you know who I wouldn't mind at United; Charlie Adam. The lad has excellent passing abilities, he's a bit rough around the edges but he's still only 25 so that could be sorted. If the price was right I'd definately have him at Old Trafford.

Meireles' goal was awesome, also Giggs goal for United was class. The quick inter-change of passes between Berbatov and Rooney was awesome then the ball to Giggs was spot on and the finish was excellent

Darren Bent has just scored on debut. 1-0 Villa vs City.

Wonderful performance by Berba and United today, the only down point for me is that Rooney didn't get a goal or two but he had a good game none-the-less. Boosts are goal difference back up too and a cleant sheet MOTD is gonna be good viewing tonight!

Quarter Finals now, Australia have just got through to the Semi-Finals. South Korea beat Iran 1-0 after extra-time. South Korea play Japan and Australia play Uzbekistan in the Semi-Finals.

Australia beat Iraq 1-0 after extra-time, Harry Kewell bagged the winner on the 119th minute! Don't see Australia going any further if you play as poor as that again.

United 2-0 Berbatov will get another hat-trick today!

Decent result for Liverpool, they played well. Wolves made it a good game too, they came out looking for goals. Every time I see Wolves play I think they're unlucky, I think if they had a bit more fire power they would be above the relegation zone easy.

Andy Murray is through to the Last 16 with a very impressive win over Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-1 6-1 6-2. Murray sealed victory in the just over an hour and a half. Murray will now play the winner of Jürgen Melzer (11) and Marcos Baghdatis (21) in the Last 16, with a possible match with Soderling in the Quarter-Finals, Nadal in the Semi-Finals and Federer in the Final. To be honest Andy is looking very good this year, I think he'll make it quite comfortably to the Semi-Finals if his current form continues. But a match against Nadal is another story, he'd have to play extremely well to progress.

First Quarter-Finals were earlier today. Japan beat Qatar 3-2 in an excellent game. Uzbekistan beat Jordan 2-1 in the other match. Japan will play the winners of Iran vs South Korea, which promises to be an ace game, whilst Uzbekistan will play the winners of Australia vs Iraq. Semi-Finals take place on the 25th.
