  1. I think everyone, apart from Liverpool fans, are thinking the same. After the way Liverpool fans turned against Hodgson, I really hope Liverpool do worse under Daglish, even maybe getting relegated. Then the fans will have no-one to blame but themselves.
  2. It's only £2million because Pienaar only has 6 months left on his contract, so Everton would rather get a couple million for him now rather than nothing in the Summer. If Pienaar would have sealed a transfer last January he probably would have been in the £10million range, but after a poor World Cup and poor showing this season, his valuation around Europe has dramatically dropped.
  3. Ipswich beating Arsenal??!!?! After Ipswich's performance at the weekend I was thinking maybe Gunners win 10-0 or sumat, but props to them. Hope they get to Wembley now against West Ham, be a nice final that.
  4. Bwahahahahahaha Liverpool What's the excuse this time then? Blackpool 4 Europe!
  5. Would be a good signing for either club aslong as the price is right, but I think he'd fair better under the wing of Fergie. Not seen much of the lad but like everyone I've heard great things, he is still very young mind so a big jump up the leagues could be hard for him. If a signing does take place, maybe a loan back to Southampton for the rest of the season maybe on the cards.
  6. Can't see the logic of signing the same manager you sacked just over a year ago. Granted he got them promoted to the Championship but then failed, then failed in the Championship with Preston too. So what are they gonna expect, for him to get them back up to the Championship then fail again?? Crazy if you ask me.
  7. At one point when Morgan was in I thought we were gonna walk it easy, but then they got a few quick wickets that made it a hell of a finish. Gotta love Twenty-20 though, never disappoints! Plus I think thats eight Twenty-20 wins in a row for England now, which I believe is a record.
  8. England beat Australia in the first Twenty-20 game by 1 wicket. Australia batted first and scored 157-4. England batted second and scored 158-9, scoring the winning run on the last ball of the game! Good times
  9. I wanna take Welbeck back now me, I think we'll need him in the run in. Cleverley is looking ace too, I only wanna call him back if we have too, would much prefer him to see out the season at Wigan and keep improving, then have a full pre-season with us next season and then into the first team squad.
  10. Tottenham haven't given up on signing Phil Neville and also maybe in for Steven Pienaar and Mark van Bommel too, according to the morning papers. Also Arsenal are looking for a center-back and both Sol Campbell and Matthew Upson have been linked with a return to the club.
  11. Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads...

I came here in a time machine you built, and I need your help getting back to the year 1985.

  12. Yeah not like he's ever done anything useful Look O'Shea has been very very poor this season but let's not forget what he's done for the club, he's been thrown in to the deep end when we didn't have the luxury of good youth players like Rafael and he's done a job. in Ronaldo's final season we won the league because of our mean defense and O'Shea was an integral part and he didn't embarrass himself in the Champions League Final against Thierry Henry. Real life isn't FM you can't load the team with great players. What a class goal. I remember that season O'Shea scored 4 goals from 5 shots throughout the whole season and had the highest goals to shot ratio in the whole of Europe! He has been an integral servant to United for years, a great squad player who I think any club would love to have.
  13. Wycombe 0-1 Hereford at Adams Park tonight, which was a delayed third round tie. Hereford will play Sheffield Wednesday now, in the fourth round.
  14. 70k a week is alot of money, I think at West Ham only Kieron Dyer is on more, a ludacris 83k a week to be exact! Apart from that only Parker (£60k) and Upson (50k) are anywhere near, whilst the rest of the squad are under 35k a week. So I reckon 70k is alot of money to spend on a loan signing who ain't exactly gonna change their season, hopefully they'll be splitting the bill with City though.
  15. Wayne Bridge is present at Upton Park tonight for the game, so looks like the loan deal should be sealed tonight, or most likely tomorrow. 70k in wages though, that seems alot for a club like West Ham!
  16. Ronaldinho has signed a 4 year deal at Brazilian club Flamengo. This obviously ends any hope Blackburn had of signing him.
  17. Seems a bit silly to me, especially for the top players who play 50-60 games a season potentially. Players need the whole summer off considering we have no winter break either. I'd like to see it be an Under-23 thing if it's going ahead, a tournament to blood new youngsters onto the full international scene.
  18. Chelsea should have taken him back, frankly. Steve Clarke is awesome. They'd better treat him nice. Best signing Liverpool have made in a long time!
  19. Crawley have just taken the lead *Edit Crawley won 2-1. Derby equalised after about an hour, then Crawley bagged a 91st minute winner! Good times, you gotta love the FA Cup!
  20. You're right, but we all know why he went down. Players are told to go down when they feel contact else you'll very rarely get a pen. In this case the contact was minimal and the going down looked, and was, a dive. It's hard for refs in situations like this, but in my opinion if he was unsure he should of consulted his liner.
  21. I'm a United fan and I thought it was a soft penalty. But your simple logic does put it into perspective, I also always ask myself, would it have been a freekick outside of the area? And in this case I'm sure it would have, so there should be no arguments?! Also there was an incident just before Giggs was taken down in the area when Johnny Evans was pushed from behind in the area and that wasn't given. This also was more of a penalty but we never here about these decisions from the blind anti-Man Utd Liverpool fans! On a side note Gerrard's tackle was nasty and deserved a red, having played football at semi-professional level myself if that would have happened to me or one of my team, I would be very unhappy.
  22. Debatable! They're two different type of player though, both worlds ahead of any other player at the moment. I think Messi has something daft like 28 goals in 24 games this season too, equally phenomenal!
