  1. The Cavs didn't even need Kyrie to beat down the Hawks here...it's obvious the Hawks peaked too early this season and this series ends in Cleveland Tuesday I would think. I do wonder if the Cavs rest Kyrie the rest of the series in order to try to get 2 weeks off for him before the finals. Seems like they will be able to.
  2. Terrible to see Carroll go down. Hope it's not as bad as it looked and he can return for this series. Having said that, Cavs in 4 just became very realistic tonight due to the win and injury. I'd say 5 is more likely though.
  3. Robert Kraft has decided to accept the NFL's punishment and will not appeal. Only Tom Brady's appeal is left ongoing.
  4. So are we led to believe Don created the Coke ad that finished the episode? I feel like everything besides Don worked great this episode, but the Don story from this episode and the past couple just leave me confused more than anything.
  5. I thought the Clippers had turned the corner after beating the Spurs, but so much for that. Huge collapse by them.
  6. I see the Clippers as the title favorites. Warriors-Clippers will be a war but the Clippers beating the Spurs was huge (they needed a series win like that) and now they believe they can beat anyone. Blake is also playing like the best player in the NBA and I think they will win the title ultimately as CP3 is the most clutch player in the league and the supporting cast is well built around those 2.
  7. LeBron does what he does best, end the Bulls season in the playoffs. Was a very good and competitive series but it was fairly obvious going into the series and during it that the Cavs were going to win the series, even without Love. The Bulls are a flawed offensive team and nobody in the East can beat LeBron still as I'd be shocked if the Hawks or Wizards gave the Cavs much of a threat.
  8. Seems very likely that Thibodeau ends up there after Chicago stupidly fires him once the Bulls season ends.
  9. Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 40s41 seconds ago Filed to ESPN: Tom Brady suspended four games, Pats lose 1st round pick in 2016 and a 4th in 2017, and team fined $1 million, per source:
  10. The Cavs have won 0 titles and 1 East title even with all that "luck" so it hasn't exactly benefited them. JR Smith just got suspended 2 games yet Kelly Olynyk got 1 game. Unbelievable. Intentionally trying to break someones arm gets 1 game? Are you kidding me? He banked in a 30 foot 3pt shot off a broken play. It is absolutely pure luck he made it, but your comment about the suspended players shows that you have a bias towards the Bulls and/or Cavs so there's no point in discussing it. Ah yes, I'm the biased one here More than 1 person can be biased in a conversation. I like to think I can objectively talk about things like this and I don't see much bias in any of these comments but perhaps you feel different. To each his own.
  11. If I were a Bulls fan I'd be extremely pissed off seeing a 1 legged Kyrie Irving, a hobbled Iman Shumpert and LeBron with a twisted ankle all playing through their issues while Pau Gasol has a mild hamstring strain and didn't play game 4 and apparently is unlikely to play tomorrow too. With him the game might've gone different but he is not stepping up through being hurt like the Cavs players are and it's pretty weak.

  13. There was at least 1.3 left on the clock when the ball went out of bounds. I think LeBron gets the shot off in .8 anyway. Also, Joakim Noah learned a whole new way to box out apparently http://pbs.twimg.com/media/CErVeM_UsAA8983.jpg I wasn't disputing the time or him getting the shot off. I was disputing them getting to draw up a play to get him open for that shot There's nothing that can be done in this instance. The refs have to go review the play to see how much time is left and one way or another the Cavs were going to get a play drawn up while they were doing it. Plus nobody seems to mention the Bull also had the chance to set their defense because of this. The timeout situation was a huge blunder that Blatt got away with, but please, don't give me the Bulls should be up 3-1 garbage. They are 1 of the luckiest shots in NBA history to end Game 3 from possibly being down 3-1 right now. The Bulls will have their shot to win the series still and if they can't then that's on them. Excuses are not going to be worth anything.

  15. LeBron just didn't show up tonight. Cavs can't survive a game with him playing poor considering they are down 2 starters.
  16. Heck of a value at 180 for the Jags with Michael Bennett, guy is a versatile and productive player. Now he will be extra motivated as well.

  18. Leonard Williams has a shoulder issue that got him red flagged by some teams, NFLN reported it.

  21. Being pretty ignorant here, Cleveland hasn't won a title in any sport since 1964 with too many crushing things happening since then to count. This is just another in a long, long line of them. That's why LeBron knows winning 1 title here would make him the biggest sports star ever in the state but I wouldn't bet on him ever getting it done here with how much goes wrong year in and out. It's just something you wouldn't understand unless you were a fan of the teams. I do think the Cavs can win the East still but they have no chance at all vs a team like Golden State, Houston, San Antonio, etc. without Love.
  22. Love is out for the Bulls series and it sure sounds like he'll need season ending surgery soon...basically shuts down any title hopes for Cleveland. Couldn't be less surprised something like this happens once again to a Cleveland team...
  23. That'd be a surprise. Smith wasn't even looking when it happened (although for sure he deserves a 1 game suspension) but anything more would definitely be a shock.
  24. Love is apparently going to miss at least 2 weeks but ultimately I don't think it'll matter in the Bulls series as LeBron has the Bulls number past and present. Game 1 will be key as Smith will be suspended a game and if the Cavs can win that one with 2 of their starters down then it could be a short series. Otherwise it'll likely go 6 or 7 and Love could potentially return at the end of that series anyway.
